Any woman that visits another continent and brings home socket sets and a multimeter gets an automatic thumbs up from me.👍😉
Roger that👍👍👍🇬🇧
Agreed! Esp Chris, Matt and Mike!
🤣 I’m easily pleased
One of the few under 40 to ever get in an old piece of equipment to operate. Nice to show her a variety of equipment. Thanks to the other utubers for the time spent.
Have been watching Matt, Mike and Chris and his Lordship for a couple of years now, I think it's mainly nostalgia as when they are looking at older equipment I remember it being used 1st time around. 🤣😂
You did awesome on the old dragline
Thanks Mike. We will be back. Obviously to see you guys but I need another go 😬
Agreed
Those rope powered machines are an art form to operate
I used to be involved with a group who looked after the ONLY preserved walking dragline in Western Europe (Bucyrus Erie BE1150 "Clinchfield")
I still don't know how people do what they do (or did) just using ropes???????
I’ve just started watching Matt at diesel creek, really enjoying his laidback ways and projects. Looks like you’ve had a good time over there, now it’s time to break in all those tools😁👍
Looks like you enjoyed the trip across the pond. Good tools are always needed.
Fun trip! That Red Pete had "Kim's truck" written all over it.
Doesn’t it just 🤣
Great video, it's good you could meet up with like minded youtubers. Good selection of machinery.
Loved the new tools you got 👍🔧🔧🚜
What a fabulous trip. Great to see some of the you tube friends meet up.
You found the American beacons for all do-it- yourselfers in America. Harbor Freight and Craftsman tools❤
Wait??!?!?! Why didn't the driveline explode out of the hummer?!? You did something wrong!
Because I’m not ham fisted like you 🤣🤣 he told us you broke it, you animal 🤣
It was nice to meet you and Muck. Dinner with you guys at Texas Roadhouse was quite enjoyable.
Hey, really nice to meet you as well. It was a great couple days and a great evening. So nice to meet you all.
Mighty stuff Kimberly and Kurt, glad Ye enjoyed Yourselves👌👍🙏🙂
Hi Kim Wow! that shop looked a great place to do the Christmas shopping . Love the sound of those big diesels and that Peterbuilt tractor unite looked fantastic . You did a good job on that drag line Bucyrus , they are very tricky to operate. Nice selection of new tools , those wobble sockets are very handy on some jobs. And the dead blow hammers are good. Great video.
Was Interesting, glad you had some fun !
Awesome video Kim, I’m always late to the party and being that this was a trip you and Lord Muck did 6 months ago is proof of that 🤣🤣. Stay safe and I’ll try and play catch up with the rest of your content 😊
Glad you and Kurt enjoyed the trip, Kim!! 😎🚜 And congrats on your tool purchases! 🔧⚙️🔩 😎👍 Ya'll come back!! 😄🇺🇲🇬🇧
Absolutely we will be back. Can’t wait 😁
@@CalamityKim1 Ever seen the duel Tesla motor powered Hummer ?
Glad to see you have fun Kim.
LM did mention you had fallen for a Peterbuilt.
You should buy it and get it shipped over.
You're only young once.
And it's not my money 😅
I seen you in there videos & my first thought was wow who this great looking lady & now tonight you was in my suggested videos !
Aww thanks, welcome 🤗
Great video Kim, glad you had a blast across the pond
New subscriber here. Found you via Diesel Creek. I'm an old machinery rescuer myself. Looking forward to your projects.
Hi Matt, thanks for the sub ☺️
@@CalamityKim1 👍
I've been waiting for this, well done. That Klein will treat you well. I forgot y'all went to see Logger Wade, he's got a sweet operation going down there, a hell of a guy. You appointed yourself well in that dragline, im sure i wouldnt start out that well. Good to see you enjoyed yourselves and hope you get to Indiana again. Thanks Kim.
Best regards from Indiana.
You just can't go wrong with harbor freight impact swivels. I've had my 3/8 drive and 1/2 set for years. I "broke" one but it was more the spring coil bound against something, causing it to move and the pin flew out. Found the pin and some electrical tape and its good to go! Glad you and Muck had another great adventure over here in the states!
They’re great aren’t the Wes. Handy tip!
4:51 very cool Transition 👏🏽
I wondered if anyone noticed. Thanks 😬
What a great video, Kim! These American rigs are cool but I guess you're glad you drive a Topline because of the space 😁😉 Thanks for your cool videos, also very interesting for an office nerd like myself, who has a love for all kinds of machinery and engines. Greetings from the Netherlands 👋😃
They are indeed but as you say. A Scania is a nice truck. Thanks for the comment and we welcome anyone and everyone 😁
Ah, once you got on the dragline, I remembered where I'd seen you before!
Great video - thanks for sharing - I’d love to get licenses to drive all those things.
As would I 😁
Thanks for sharing. I watch Diesel Creek religiously and will add your channel to the mix.
Thanks Jim, welcome aboard!
you looked at home in the humvee, ideal for the daily commute i would say...
always a good holiday when you come back with shiny new tools
got a computer about 5yrs ago, matt was one of the first videos i watched, a strange young man trying to make a driveway through the forest, glad i found him...
Great video on your travels, good to see some over the pond action in USA , that Matt seems a really nice chap with a larger than life character, so much fun 👍👍👍😊It was nice to see you had time to enlarge your tool collection with some good tools , really like those twisty sockets myself , but haven’t got any 😩In the superstore did Mucka manage to find any goodies ????
Matt is a really nice guy. Everyone we met was actually.
You can’t go on holiday without looking at tools from another country. To be fair some companies over here use the same tools just branded in their names. The coloured sockets I think are sealey.
Mucka found some stuff as well. He was a bit more reserved than I was however 😁
Well done on the drag-line, not an easy machine to master but for a first go you did well. My first such machine was an RB22 but crane only but those old rigs with all those levers are quite a handful compared to joystick controls. My first excavator was a 12 ton chain drive track, lever control and one had to make like an octopus to drive it, can't think of the brand just now but it was a 1964 vintage. Glad you had a fun time and good additions to the tool kit.
Another great video.
I bet that was a great trip thanks for sharing I live about 60 miles north west from dirt perfect you was in my backyard pretty much lol one day I would love to visit Europe
Those guys are living the dream of 'who dies with the most toys wins"
Saw some of this on the Mucker channel 🗽🇺🇸🇬🇧💡👌
great little video kim I love a toolfair too cant help myself LOL / ps if you ever do rear hub seals on the scania I have the special socket you need its an 8 sided nut not a 6 yes I did say 8 the nut is octaganol not a hexagon
I'm glad you had a good time. Thanks for the awesome content. :-)
Looks like you had a great time, good to see you in getting to have a go on some big stuff.
Surprised you didn't come back with a Stetson and cowboy boots.
🤠
New tools and Send It's 😊
Hope you enjoyed a few pints as well 😊
It looks like fun and games were had by all.
Some trip! Are the socket rails the twist lock type? If so they rock, ive had mine for prob 15yrs, Couple points to note with them, loose the mag strip as it picks up sharps and scratches like hell if it sticks to a painted surface/wing/bonnet etc, if your sockets have a detent hole, line it up with the rail ball, they stay on better, and goons that dont realise ya need to twist are the biggest killer of them, but i rekon your goons trainable😎
Great video. Would love to go out there one day. Would love a Ruston Bucyrus 22 RB to go with my 10 RB. Good to see more clutch cable machines, perhaps Lord Muck would get one one day .Bet you had a great time Kim
Looks like you had a great time!
Keep the videos coming my new friend ! 🍺❤️😎
NICE STUFF, WELL DONE kIM. Cheers Jim in NZ.
Just the greatest as always 😊👍
wow , great to see you hanging out with DC, DP and LD
Brilliant! Would love you to come down for a visit to South Wales and take you on a tour of some fellow enthusiasts museums, I’ll show you where Neil Jarretts Ransomes headquarters is👍👍
Great vid Kim , I see Kurt had a play on the ventrac , ,I’ve mentioned these on his channel before. As we sell them at DGM , in Devon near Torquay, 👍🙂
He had a go after I did. It climbed up the side of the creek with the mower deck which blew my mind. Very impressive piece of kit. Are they popular over here at all?
We sell them to people who run golf courses , we also have a hire one , they climb very steep hillside and have many attachments from stump grinders to hedge cutters ,mower decks various types, tuff cut decks will cut a Mtr high,👍🙂
Ah I thought I spotted you in a letsdig18 video! Glad you had fun
Very cool! You do better than dp on the dragline . Wish I had gone to the expo, good stuff.
The best thing about that big shop, was its construction...
Redline for a goodtime...
At those speeds things happen REAL FAST and when thigs go badly,
the go REAL BAD, REAL FAST usually you wont have time to correct
just crash & burn.
!
Looks like you had an amazing time👌
Hell of a video everyone had fun I knew mucker had to have a play on some thing can see why u bought the tools u did could do with some wobble bits myself maybe santa will cooperate this year 😂
Make sure you get your Christmas list in early 🤣
Wow what a great trip far far too much fun and too much money spent on tools 🙄 and they weren't even knipex 😕😂 Send it 💪💪
I know! I love Knipex! Knipex is cheaper here than there. 😭
In my book Matt is the real deal, great guy all the way around.
The Klein DVM is very nice, own a lot Klein hand tools but no meters, I'm a Fluke man.
I think Mike was just showing off, your first buck was smooth and no jerking.
We don't see a lot of female activity on the Diesel Creek channel, maybe Eva once in a while. Good to see you got the chance to set Matt straight.
Matt is such a nice guy. Eva is so lovely as well.
Flukes are just so expensive. I looked at getting a fluke but really didn’t fancy spending a few hundred on one.
How he tipped it was so cool though. I’d love to spend an hour on it. Although I had jelly legs, the pedal are hard on the legs when they’re as long as mine!
Thanks for commenting.
it looks like you hade a lot of fun .lol
I thought I saw you hiding in corners in those videos!
You all seemed to enjoy it that’s the main thing
been waitin fer a proper vid of ya rippin that merkin style landy
It you come again, try to come during the National Pike antique equipment show next to were Matt lives.
That Hummer, would good to see with a ifor williams catttle trailer, just dropping off, 3 sheep at the action mart muscling them poxy over priced range rovers about. I used to see a farmer, transporting prime cattle, straight to the abattoir with a Trantor it used to fly.
Live right by cabelas. Would have given you a tour of some of my old iron
So Kim, did Muck agree to the Red Pete, if so, when is It due to land in the Olde Country?😂
Yes haha. I cropped the bit where I said this would be perfect 🤣
Chris and Mike are a little goofy 🤣
They’re a lot of fun 😬
Ya'll were in my back yard and I didn't even know it. How did you like Texas Roadhouse? My favorite.
I really loved it actually. I’d love to go back to one again. Is it a chain?
yes it is. I'm not sure of how many there are in total but they are all very clean and a great priced restaurant @@CalamityKim1
U had more fun than the law would allow
the rev changes are a little different on the Autocar to your beautiful Scania ( I must say I have a soft spot for the 143 V8 500 hp models . I drove one to spain and back alot of times
Man that is one tackle shop what.
So you like a bit of left hand drive then 👍👍
I’ll drive anything 😁 maybe not well but I’ll give it a go 🤣
@@CalamityKim1 I like it same here il give it a go 🤣🤙
How'd y'all like Indiana?
I really like Indiana, I’d like to spend some more time looking around.
🙂
You should set up a meet with Rich from DeBoss Garage in Canada, he even has a Tank.
That would be fun. He puts out some good content doesn’t he.
Nice , come back soon.
Did Kim catch any fish with that dragline?
Highly unlikely, I couldn’t catch any silt and sludge 🤣
Do they have a Harbor Freight across the pond?
No we don’t have them.
👍Diesel Creek TH-cam crossover and or team up ❤it 🙂👍
Wish I would've known that.u only 2 minutes from my place
What camera and object do you use?
Hello, I use and iPhone and a Sony sv1 as well. Not sure what you mean about the object?
Is that a 19 or 22 rb?
It’s a 22B
That poor transmission what’d it ever do to you. 😂😂😂😂😂
Not let me find second 🤣 my Scania box is weirdly laid out but nowhere near as bad as that.
Was Aaron drunk again ?
2:00 As we say in America, Old truckers never die. They just get a new Peter Built. I'm not good at spelling. 😉
the girl likes mechanical stuff... thanks dad?
