The Pros/Cons, I dont think a lot of people have this kind of collection to make informed decisions on which sticks to get! All in all, keep it up!
The MCG/MCG-U is skinny to grip but it's tall, as is virpil Alpha/Prime. I use Prime's myself but mostly because I prefer the warBRD base for 0 center cams. Someone with small hands may prefer the SCG. It's a lot shorter and compact.
It feels really great in the hand, but I do like the thickness of the alpha a little more. The hats on the MCG are superior and don't have 'misclicks'. I've been testing the MCGU + GF3 for a few weeks but the biggest deal breaker for me is the lack of 0 center cam for the GF3. It's a preference thing though, and if I didn't own them all I'd be happy with either!
I was surprised too. The Virpil is much chunkier and has metal twist and connector pats as well. The VKB is also aluminum which is fairly light in comparison to steel etc. They're both still half the weight of the warthog though!
@@RedLir_Live what about the feel, does virpil feel as hefty in the hand as mcg ultimate? because i want to use hosas but there is no left hand mcg ultimate and im looking for a stick that can match the feel that mcg ultimate has so the left doesnt feel out of place
It's probably as close as you'll get. In either case, the warBRD or CM2 gimbalsl are going to feel different from the gunfighter. I wouldn't worry about left right symmetry too much. Your brain will get used to anything, and most of us ran with warthog/ t16000m for years in the hosas community

How do you like the mcg ultimate versus the Virpil? Struggling between these two for a HOSAS setup.

My daily drivers are Virpil Alpha + WarBRD, but 'best' is subjective for sure!
