Well I mean it kind of makes sense really. She's already going to have an uphill battle being taken seriously as a woman minister alongside the inevitable questions of nepotism (what with her being the daughter of the previous minister). Calling to attention her age would just make things worse.

Her hair was a very popular look at the time. The center part, chunky highlights, piecey layers flipped up. See also Meg Ryan in Kate and Leopold, or Ashley Simpsons hair in this episode- curled out layers.

I know many social workers( family and their friends) and the answer is hell to the no
🤷🏻♀️ they might in some places. For instance, you know how mandated reporters are required by law to hotline if there’s any suspicion of abuse? Well, it’s supposed to be anonymous, but around here, it’s not. Idk how they’re able to pick and choose what rules they decide to follow, but it seems to vary from place to place.
With CPS and DFACS you never know what the hell will happen, but you can rest assured it won't end well.
Yeah, that seems really dangerous. If the parents actually are abusing the kids, they would immediately know who to keep their kids away from in the future, and that kid could lose contact with someone who could help. I mean, everyone should keep their kids away from Reverend Camden, but that's a separate issue.
If you’re a late 20s to early 30s or even 40s developmentally disabled person, your parents are likely gone and if they are that greatly increases your chances of not having a support network. In those situations, a traveling circus group that pays them well and is focused specifically on them and emphasizing their value and creativity sounds like a golden ticket.
As someone who grew up watching 7th Heaven, I can confidently say that the 7h Heaven episodes are the best in this series because they capture the ridiculousness of the show down to a T
I had to watch this show so much as a kid, I never noticed how creepy and weird it is. It's like one of the leads was a creep or something.

As I said in other 7th Heaven posts. Really liked the show for the first little bit. Started getting old & tired when the creepy brat twins started finishing off each others sentences & all those teen boarders moved in. I've seen a few performances of Famous People Players. It's actually pretty good !!
The twins are the most useless part of the show as season and season go by, and they refused to actually give them plots. Even when the actors were seven, which was the same age as Rosman when she got her plots.

I can't ignore the coincidence that I work with people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities, and some of them have worked at Peter Piper's Pizza. This is getting too close to home.
I enjoyed this episode just because someone has a disability you can still do it and Paul proved it he became a people player such a beautiful soul glad he asked Lucy for help!

I watched re-runs of this show constantly as a teenager growing up. Bringing all of these plots that always involved the nosy Dad makes me question my viewing choices.
BEFORE his proclivities were revealed, watching Stephen Collins frequently was questionable because he kept getting work DESPITE a painfully obvious lack of talent.
