Hi Tiffany! *Budding* Louisiana Real Estate Attorney here. I’m literally fan-girling your channel and considering a similar platform but based on Napoleonic Code. Kudos to you for such diligent content!
Thank you so much Bria! I think it is a great idea and actually made a video on my Instagram account replying to your comment! Check it out @lawatthelake
Hi, Is the law school that you graduate from important in this area of the field? My ultimate goal would be to have my own practice and specialize in real estate and estate planning.
I have my ba in marketing and have been working in finance marketing and i have been selling real estate for the past 8 years and I am really considering going to law school.
Do you have any real estate law books that you reference a lot and could recommend? (treatises, practice materials, handbooks, etc) If so, could you list some?
My favorite practice aid is actually for commercial real estate. “A Practical Guide to Commercial Real Estate Transactions From Contract to Closing” by Stein, Fisher, and Goodwin. It’s published by the ABA. For residential real estate, I like to use resources provided by title companies in my area as they are frequently updated.
Man this is crazy I’m currently living in Fayetteville, Nc. I just said I wanted to be a real estate attorney. I really enjoy the ins and outs of real estate. Should I find internships now that I’m in undergrad?
Ive been a Realtor for 5 years. I am on my association board as well as the MLS board. I have interest in becoming a Real Estate Attorney... would it be a conflict of interest to keep my license active?
I know that it will depend on different factors like the school you go to or your state, But approximately what is the average total cost to become a real estate lawyer?
Hi Tiffany! Thanks for the info! I’m looking into going to law school in the future. Would you recommend someone become a real estate agent before becoming a real estate attorney?
Hi Arielle! If you're certain you want to be a real estate attorney, I could see a benefit to knowing the requirements real estate agents must meet in representing their clients and what rules they have to follow with their local commission. I don't think it's a must in order to be a great real estate attorney, but if you have the interest in being an agent, you could get some great experience before having to sit for the bar exam.
Thank you for sharing and posting I couldn't find any videos on this topic

It never hurts to start as early as possible to figure out if it's what you want to do.
The common thread is always networking.

Not necessarily, but is a layer that may make some people weary of working with you. As you know, realtors are a little territorial.
I know that it will depend on different factors like the school you go to or your state, But approximately what is the average total cost to become a real estate lawyer?
Probs like 120-140k
@@kayleerazo8496 thanks
