Loved this vlog! I'm in the middle of planning my first trip to Maldives. Do you prefer Gili Lankanfusi to Soneva Jani?

They are very similar but very different. I'd say Soneva Jani is like a Gili Lankanfushi on steroids. If you're staying for longer than 4 nights, I'd definitely recommend taking the seaplane and staying at Soneva Jani. If you're staying shorter than that, hop on the speedboat and don't waste any time on a seaplane and stay at Gili Lankanfushi! Both are absolutely amazing and in our top 3 of favourite resorts in The Maldives, but we'd probably choose Soneva Jani over Gili Lankanfushi if budget wasn't an issue :-). Either way, you'll have an amazing time at both these properties!

From our room to the island you mean? Yes! Just call your Mr. Friday (it's what they call their butlers) and he will arrange a pick-up within 5 minutes every single time!

I hope this question isn’t too personal but was the trip worth it in terms of money? Did they pay you or they just let you stay for free? Did you have to pay for the flights too?

Definitely not too personal! We were hosted in all Maldives hotels and received complimentary stays including f&b, spa treatments and domestic flights/speedboats. We paid for our own international flights, but earned money by mostly shooting content for brands while in the Maldives. So we earned money by going there, but the hotels themselves didn't pay us for it! Hope that makes sense
