My wife and I recently went to Maldives. It is absolutely gorgeous! We chose the standalone beach villa and plan on doing the water villa (shown in this video) next year. I recommend everyone tries each one. Our stay was at the Vilamendhoo Island spa and resort. Absolutely worth the trip. The islands and resorts are divided into three categories: couple,family and parties. Some are a hybrid of the couple and family. So do your research before heading there. Best time is between October to April. If you don’t drink, I recommend getting the full board package which covers bfast lunch and dinner. If you drink, it would be the all inclusive package.

Beautiful stay and great video. But... We were both surprised and disappointed to see you talking without a mask on while standing over the buffet 😖 For those of us who do travel, we have to always be mindful of things like that. 😷
For talking, we took the mask off, we weren’t too close to the buffet! You have to wear a mask and gloves when dishing out the food! You also have to antibac your hands and have your temperature taken. We have taken all necessary precautions and for some talking parts did not have the mask on.
@@dabbleandtravel fair enough. 17:53 tells a different story. It may not seem like a big deal to you, but a buffet is enough of a challenging environment that I would have preferred a voice over in that situation. Still really appreciate your video, hope my feedback is well received.
We understand, at the restaurant you weren’t allowed to dish food without a mask. So we were filming for them and allowed to film without a mask but when dishing the food we did have to wear a mask! 😄
Have just got home after spending 16 nights on this amazing island 🏝 😍 And guess which room we were in .... Yep, 722. If anybody is due to stay here in the OWS, then I suggest that you send an email and request a room between 720 ~ 724. The snorkeling around the reef area is simply amazing 🐋🐬🐠🐡
@@charlieszwed1168 It depends on whether you're a sunrise/morning or sunset/afternoon person. We loved the sunsets and I would suggest rooms 719 ~ 724 are the best for this. If my memory serves me correctly, you'll get the sun from 12.30ish right through til sunset 🌇 Also, the snorkeling is best outside of these suites as there is a small reef that all colours of fish, rays and sharks inhabit. Turtles too 😎👍

Completely depends what you're looking for, we loved both equally so its super hard to choose! Probably best to watch both videos and see which one appeals to you more xx
