    JD is going through all this because he is trying to find justice for his good name. He has been, and still is, much beloved and wants his good name protected by proving that she is lying.

    I wish the jury could’ve been different ppl in healthcare. 1000mcg of fentanyl is insane, but was that given as an IV push (Which is so horrendously high I wouldn’t touch that order with a 10 foot pole)? Was that how the hospital standardized the drips for end of life care? There are SO many details that are important from the perspective of a healthcare worker, a layman will oversee it. There ARE crazy doctors who are socially liked but have a sick goal of getting people off the earth for MANY reasons. Don’t get hung up on random awards and recognition he’s received, a lot of murderers are highly liked people! Don’t forget that important detail! Would be very interesting to hear more details.

    I remember when the case with the writer happened… Horrible how someone could do that to their husband. So greedy.

      I feel that she either had someone do it or she had nothing to do with it because I cant see her firing a weapon for the first time and hitting him in the chest...any weapon is powerful but without ever firing one your liable to shoot everything but the target....only other thing I can come up with is this poor man seen his killer cause I believe he was shot in the back and the adrenaline made him turn and face his killer before being shot again...cold blooded.

    Bought the gun (s)
    Seen at the crime scene
    Multiple life insurance policies on him not her
    Their finances were over extended
    The book is irrelevant other than maybe giving her ideas

      so many of esp cancer patients r suffering and the meds given at the right dose is not working. I have seen and heard them screaming in pain. We had a doctor who gave the client meds when ever we felt they were suffering. I think we also overdosed them and they died. I am sorry but if it was me or my family I would want the med whenever I wanted it. People these days should never ever suffer and be in intense pain,
      My husband also was palliative and dying of cancer and had severe pain I would give him his med and In 10 mins he would want more and would constantly ask me to give him more, I phoned his doctor and she said give it to him doesn’t matter. So I am sure he died of to much meds but he went pain free as far as I could see. Yes maybe he could could have lived a few more days but we have to think of their quality of life too. Dying slowly is not quality at all.
      So many family members r so upset to see their loved one suffering so I say if they r palliative give the med wherever and by that time it does not even matter. Let people go in peace. I am so scared to get cancer because I don’t want to be in pain so I want all the meds I can get. I made “a end of life “contract through a lawyer and my doctor and I wrote that give me all you have. I don’t want pain,

    I like the fame motive theory. I was looking for it throughout the trial but fame from the sympathy of the lose and I believe she had that on her mind while planting the seeds with the family and mentioning school shooting and that's the one thing she threw at investigators....her defense counsel needs to work harder stoking doubt especially after the video and cell tower evidence.

  • @GH-oi2jf
    @GH-oi2jf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Regarding the Brophy trial, they don’t need motive at all. Each juror can imagine a different motive, but if they agree that Nancy killed him, she will be convicted. The prosecution has shown evidence connecting her to the crime, and that’s enough. They aren’t saying she had no motive, but it’s easy to find one. She wanted a new life..She wanted to travel. She and Dan did not have much of a life together.

    In my opinion, the DA decided to prosecute the Doctor to send a message to doctors who over prescribe opiates, especially fentanyl. This doctor should have all charges dismissed and dropped. He has a reputable career and when patients are on their death bed, most patients and their families ask to minimize pain. If these patients were overdosing due to the high dosages, they would have triggered the monitors and the nurses and doctors would be there to reverse the OD with narcan and oxygen in a timely manner! These patients were already dying due to multiple complications as a result of their poor health. These district attorneys need to get their priorities back in order. They think they are so smart yet they practice law with a black and white mindset; it’s this or that and nothing in between. It’s as if they walk around in a black and white world yet they are surrounded by many colors and variations. They don’t understand the basic concept of that it’s my perspective, their perspective, and then the truth (proof that black and white thinking blinds oneself from other possibilities)!

    Why he did it?! Have you not meet doctors with a god complex? The family decides, not a doctor. You would have though diffrently if it was your family member.

    Julie, Julie. You seem to think doctor-ing is a divine mission. But I think few are as hardened in the presence of death, few as lightly effected by it - bc they face it DAILY. A doctor, especially in the ER, after a time might be numb to the gravity of death. Motive? Doctors who see drug overdoses, mental illnesses, violences - day in day out - who are left to make judgments …. WILL.
    Btw, something similar happened to my father. His value was weighed by a doctor, found not-valuable, and was essentially killed by a “beloved accomplished doctor who” I’m sure “saved many other lives.” The problem was that that ‘less worthy’ life was my Dad.
    Not all, probably not even most, doctors are heroes. Just jaded, judgmental people with too much clout. Too much power.

    Wonder if Julie Grant’s beauty is distracting in courtrooms?
    Anyhow would love to see Kelly Siegler on and talk about what it would take to change some laws like double jeopardy which the UK has amended in their country
    Nancy Brophy case reminded me of Robin Pope case circumstantial evidence and story only no smoking gun or witness but don’t like seeing murderers walkin around free
    Aside from recalling Gascon how and why did we get here, why’re D.A.’s across the country not doing jobs and preventing and obstructing Justice?

    They were in good place money wise and were set to pay off all there debt by December and working a financial plan and her insurance was only $300k for him, they were already taking trips together to Italy etc etc she was better off with him then without him. My money is in a random guy who fallowed him into the school to rob him or a student who wanted a better grade or had tuition issues 🤔 if the van which is a popular van in the cct video is all they have then should let her go. Gun was still sealed in box and you can’t buy ghost guns online you can buy parts but not a gun.

    • @StellaFl
      @StellaFl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been following the trial and I have to disagree with you. First off, they were not in a good place money wise. They had to borrow to cover their mortgage debt (against Dan's retirement nontheless) and they had not changed their spending habits. Planning international trips when you have to borrow to cover PAST debts while you have no plan to bring in extra income makes zero sense.
      The reason they were so far behind their payments was the ridiculously high premiums they were religiously paying for Dan's (and only Dan's) SEVEN insurance policies which were closer to a million than 300k, Nancy's policy on the other hand was for only 25k.
      She could have ended the trial one way or another by presenting the missing barrel but she hasn't. As for the van, they have captured the license plate number so it's not some random van.
      Finally, there is a website called ghostguns.com where from she bought the ghost gun kit. The ex owner of the website was a witness for the prosecution. There is ZERO doubt she had bought it from them as there is ZERO doubt she bought a (missing) barrel which fit both guns she bought.

    Heard and depp need to stop and go home. I went through a divorce and my ex said things that were total lies but who cares I got rid of him and that’s the peace of mind I have now. Depp needs to show he is good for the parts and stick up for himself a stupid article in a paper is already old news. Move on. We all r losers in courts. And when you r rich you lose more than maybe I did. But I did lose all my savings and my house. And had to start over. To bring this all out like this might be worse for his career. Her? I don’t know.

  • @TrueCrimeDoula
    @TrueCrimeDoula 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, it's not a really good point, about it not being "enough" for murder money. Clearly this guy has never purchased life insurance. Being over 60 and having even close to a million dollars in insurance is already not easy. It's just not realistic to think that he would have had multi-million dollar policies in his name. The older you get the more expensive your premium is and the more difficult it is to get life insurance because they look at your health and your "proximity" to being deceased.
