Regarding the Alec Baldwin accidental shooting ... I am reminded of when Brandon Lee, the son of Bruce Lee, was also killed on a movie set because a live round was loaded in the pistol instead of a blank.
That is not how the incident unfolded. What happened was sometime earlier someone was shooting live rounds and a bullet got lodged in the barrel, (Called a squib load). Unfortunately, when the gun was placed back on set, no one (the Armorers responsibility) checked the gun to see if it had a barrel obstruction. When the blank was fired, it caused enough pressure to force the lodged bullet out of the barrel, causing the fatality.

There’s a huge difference between Alec and Potter. Potter had hours and hours of gun training. One of the main skills is knowing what a gun feels like and using it while in action.
In regards to Jussie's case, what if the first prosecutor who threw out his case, sentenced him to community service and a small fine is proven to be corrupt or having special interests? Think if that same prosecutor was found to be corrupt or having special interests in a very serious case such as a death penalty where perhaps the person on trial had been found guilty even though they were actually innocent. What then? Shouldn't some consideration be given to the first prosecutor's integrity?
