"Wish you were here." That just hit my heart!!! My brother has been missing since 2019 and no ones been able to help in anyway even though there was an atm transaction and plane ticket. His account wasn't touched for about a year and a half or more and it ended up being closed. He had a lot of problems mentally and would surround himself with the homeless and give them everything he had because he had. Wouldn't surprise me if he would give someone his wallet or debit card to use. He could have bragged about how much money is in his acct. He has really bad drug psychosis episodes. I just wonder why we cant see the camera on the atm when his card was used. Why can't we know anything about the flight and if he got on it or if someone else did. Has his social been used anywhere? Too many questions. ANYWAY, ANA YOU'RE THE BEST!

I'm very sorry that you don't know what has happened to your brother, Sara and that you're left with many questions. You must've been through a lot already with him before he disappeared. Don't stop reminding the police of him. I sincerely hope that your questions will be answered one day and that you'll get the chance to watch the video's. Take care!

My favorite sunny moment through the dark clouds that all cases have looming over them is when Ana called him “the OG” of blogging crime and he responded with a innocent confused tone, “what does that mea??????!”. Seemingly wondering if it wasn’t a good thing and then she laughs and says “Like the original of crime blogging” (I’m paraphrasing here). And he accepted it I think as a compliment. I also like how he talked about the tribute pages with angels and you’re still with us, because I’ve seen those in my younger days too and now it’s Facebook accounts being memorialized. It is nice but it’s not helping to solve the crime. As Ana said “not everyone can handle it” which I have full respect for any victim whether immediate or family and friends, extended community members, and others who aren’t able to listen to and see it. I 100% agree and I’m glad Ana said that.
As to not disregard and forget a large portion of survivors who’ve already lived through so much suffering. I imagine dealing with self blame, guilt over what they could have “done differently, what if” haunt them every waking moment. I am thankful to every survivor whether the immediate victim or their family and friends, law enforcement, community members, groups who offer grants to move forward in a case for the myriad of reasons all true crime consumers know exist. Because without them there wouldn’t be any changes, and without Ana there wouldn’t be this podcast, and all the producers and what it takes to do this. The lawyers too, everyone who has influenced change, new laws, and seeks to help and prevent and spread awareness and education about how to protect yourself and loved ones. Thank you forever.

I could listen to this man all day. What a dynamic, engaging, clever, warm, funny, intelligent man, & brilliant storyteller. I’m truly sorry to John & his family for the murder of Theresa, & the enduring failures of the justice system for the past 45 years to even feign interest in Theresa’s case.
    Some thoughts-
    • It’s been 45 years, most police staff are new. Yet the code of silence persists, which doesn’t gel if police believe it was a stranger/career criminal.
Has John explored the possibility that it was a member of police or other senior official?
    • I wonder if John could explore privately accessing/funding one of the degraded DNA experts Ana spoke of
    • From that, if they can access a sufficient sample, I wonder if John could explore/petition the police to submit the specialist sample for a familial DNA search
I’ll be buying John’s book, accessing his website, & listening to his podcast- he’s an incredible man & has undoubtedly changed the landscape for victims & family survivors, for the better.
Thank you John, and my thoughts & love to Theresa & her beautiful memory x

I'm so grateful the Police Department was vigilant when my friend went "missing." Even with good cops, the whole process feels like it takes forever. She "disappeared" the same day George Floyd was murdered, so it was a weird time to sort of befriend a Police Department. It's been two years and her husband is going on trial in two months. Her body was found 4.5 months later near her home.

What a fascinating story. Utterly Tragic. My Deepest Condolences to You on the loss of Your Sister. I reside in Canada am a Retired R.N who works in the Human Trafficking arena. We had a 1996 Femicide of a 24 year old 5 month pregnant Woman involved in the Sex Trade who died of neck compression. She was posed. Sorry I just realized You are in Canada Wow I am in Toronto. I was successful in getting the Case reopened. Homicide asked if I would do a Podcast. because while speaking with a DS I came up with the idea instead of having someone in LE do it let's try another angle having a Civilian do it. I was very honoured for this opportunity. So You have the interviewer asking the DS to outline the Case. I am not pictured You hear Me speaking directly to the killer stating I don't think You meant to kill Her I think something went wrong and You have lived with this burden so please contact a Lawyer and turn Yourself in. We have DNA in this Case so hoping with Genetic Geneology it will be solved. This Genetic Geneology just fascinates Me. Once again My Deepest Condolences to You and Your Family. Praying You get Resolve. Thanks Anna for the great work that You do.💕💕

To be sincerely honest... in my humble opinion, articulating succinctly and without a hidden agenda, visions of grandeur, ulterior motives, sentimentalism, sarcasm, becoming nostalgic or disingenuous and of course, without offending anyone who holds views contrary to my own, and without burying any impure thoughts within my subconscious and without lies or deception, to the actual truth with my clear open mind and loyal loving heart, expressing whatever has been embedded inside me for a long time which I didn't share with others because I was petrified of doing so, is about to be revealed without myself becoming a slave to fear and/or a co-signee of preposterous political correctness. Today, by gathering all the courage and motivation I could muster, I just want to state the fact that I actually feel and think that I have absolutely nothing prophetic, inspirational or even remotely interesting to say.

On his quest for answers/justice. I do believe we do have incredible cops/ detectives. But often they have to follow bureaucracies/protocols. Which often weigh them down. In doing their job. It's essential to respect,, offer information and develope communication. With our local coos/detectives. The good ones. Sometimes they need outside help. People that have no bureaucracies/protocols to follow.
