  • The Kaaba in Makkah was originally built in antiquity, and has been rebuilt a few times since then. The last major repair took place in 1996. This video would answer when, why and how.

    thank you Taha Qasiq. May Allah bless you. May I ask why the Rulk Al Yamani doesn't seem to be matched with today's one? We are normally told that the black stone and the yemeni corner are the only original ones...

      You are welcome, may Allah bless you too! Although I have limited information on this topic, it is clear that both the Rukn al Yamani and the black stone have suffered severe damage over the centuries and have been subjected to repairs which have changed their appearance.

    And perhaps the structural components of the Kaa'ba could have undergone labratory analysis for dating. And perhaps some fingerprints of prophet Ibrahim can de found.

      Yes, there was a lot of speculation but I am unaware of any scientific tests conducted on the Kaaba. At most, we were able to observe architectural details.

    Taha Do you know how old the current bricks of Kaabah are? And how old is the specific foundation bricks as you've mentioned in the video (probably older than the walls).

    • @TahaWasiq
      @TahaWasiq  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Although no scientific tests have been made, the stones in the wall are known to have been placed by Abdullah ibn al Zubair. While the foundations are older than the time of prophet Muhammad PBUH, they are said to have been laid by the prophet Ibrahim. That means the stones in the wall are 1330 years old while the foundations are certainly older than 1500, maybe as old as 4000 years old.

      @@TahaWasiq But why do the current bricks look like they are new and nicely cut and arranged and not 1300+ years old? And what do you think is directly below the Kaabah? If you remove the marble/tile, Sand, mud, as usual?

      @Aresydatch ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@omgsomanyy4714The current bricks were made during the Ottoman era by Muhammad Ali Pasha, if there’s anything I suspect that these bricks contain the old stones each incased in the brick. We had added some new bricks due to the Kabbah getting its height restored to the Hight at the time of the prophet before Al-Hajáj Bin-Yusúf destroyed the Kabbah

      الحجارة أصلية واستبدل الإسمنت مرة من قبل العثمانيين ومرة بالسعوديين. وتعود الأسوار الحجرية إلى عهد الخليفة عبد الله بن الزبير ، ويقال إن الأساسات هي نفس أساسات النبي إبراهيم عليه السلام.

      The stones are original but the cement was replaced once by the Ottomans and once by the Saudis. The stones in the walls date back to the era of Caliph Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr, and it is said that the foundations are the same as the foundations of the Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him.

      To the best of my knowledge, it is not haram, not all types, it depends on the usage. There are examples in ahadith where music and songs were played in presence of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, and he did not rejected it, instead even encouraged it sometimes. I can share references if you like. Thanks.
