That’s called a bi directional Tow Plow. I run one. It has a 26’ plow on the back. The truck does 1 lane and the Tow Plow swings to the right or left and does a second lane. They are fantastic to have on multi lane highways. We’re always short on help, so 2 lanes and only 1 driver really helps.
See you are traveling on Hwy US 10 and ended up on Hwy 12 going into Aberdeen and the bye pass around Aberdeen on Melguard Rd on the south side of town.
👍👌🇨🇦❤️, my dad grew up on his dad' homestead, the house and barn lights were all powered, by a wood vaned windmill. They lasted a long time, asked were still using the wind power when I was a young boy, changed over when power lines became available,
My grandfather used a wind generator at his barn in SouCenKan when he had a few dairy cows. The barn never had much other than lights, a DeLavel automatic milker and a plug in for a hay elevator though. The dairy didn’t last long after the gubbermint stepped up regulations for refrigerated storage and ceased allowing the milk can use… he was an independent sort.
Yes I have stayed in a house with an old time 6 volt wind generator with two batteries inside the house. It was a normal car generator. The house had two are three 6 volt light bulbs on the ceilings. They are not as bright as a light bulb in your average house in town.
My grandfather had a wind generator, and I lived with him and my parents for a couple years, when I was born, and later at age 7 lived on his farm at another one of the houses on the property. I believe the wind generator was 32 volts, and not 110 or 220 volts now days at homes. That was in rural Rolfe, Iowa.
25% is far too much sometimes. What is your grazing stocking rate ? Here in NE OK I can sometimes make hay and graze a pair on 4 acres per year! I enjoy your videos!
I was born and raised in Hecla, but now live in Northern Nevada. I was watching the terrain while you were driving and I believe that you were driving south on Hwy 37 to Groton. Then I believe you were on Hwy 12 going west to Aberdeen. Was I correct? Or was it Webster?
Do you ship your merch. to Canada. I looked at it but could not order as it would not let me enter my address in Saskatchewan. Really enjoy your video's.
You all make me smile.
