Hi guys From the age of 12 I worked for my father, he owned his own company specializing in the rebuild of engines. I really love to watch you guys your work is top shelf !!! Keep up the good work and keep those videos coming . Tell the haters to go shit in their hats .
Clint between you and Kevin and the wary you take time to explain each and ever step of this engine repair I think at 79 years old I be leave I could do the engine repair myself . You may think the time you take to show us it might boring not so in my book I enjoy every minute of every video THANK YOU DO NOT SPEED VIDEOS UP AND I KNOW THIS IS ONLY MY VIEW BUT I LOVE WATCHING YOU GUYS THANKS AGAIN DON😢😢😢😅😅
I watched a guy assemble a 6cyl diesel a few days ago and he did something I never would have thought of. He had the motor standing up on end to torque the head bolts. He said, "it's a lot easier to push down on the torque wrench" than try to pull it sideways. Made sense after watching him do it.
$20,000 in parts? Wow. First TechAngle torque wrench for you guys? Welcome to the (expensive) club! A couple FYIs about those. If a bolt creaks or binds while torquing, it can lose track of its position. Sometimes they lose track when you ratchet them multiple times. Best to always mark the bolt first so you can verify it's final position.
Hey Clint. You are right it was a 200 hour engine. Now it's a zero hour motor, brand new. Great work as always guys. Did you get the plane parts back in the cupboard? 🤣
The parts are going back together again - funny how they all fit in the right place and given the right torque. Good to see Mrs Clint of C&C on the job - always willing to be part of the video with a smile and happy disposition.
Kevin, keep munching, ya gotta keep them sausages strong so ya can keep them Deeres running. Clint, thanks for an excellent walk thru on the rebuild, I did notice Kevin was a lot more hands on to this point anyway, Kevin is doing pretty nice job as far as I can tell. Thanks for the update, enjoying watching this 850 come together.😊
I love watching Clinton and Kevin rebuilding bulldozer motors. You make it look so easy to do. I've never done any motor rebuild and I never will but your motor build videos are excellent. And seeing the first start is always a thrill. Thanks for sharing this video.
John Deere should most definitely sponsor y'all!!! With as much work as y'all do on John Deere Tractor's and such. Any ways I totally enjoy your videos. Plus y'all are way too funny!!!
Just had an injection pump for our 310 SG rebuilt by Area Diesel Service thanks to your content! Can't thank you guy's enough for sharing with all of us!!
I really like your video output. Always fun to watch and see the comraderie between you and Kevin and whoever else might find their way into the video. I would love to hear the back story sometime of the history behind your company prior to doing the TH-cam thing. It's obvious that you have been around for a while by all the different locations that you have and the well-stocked shops you operate out of. Thanks for all you do. I for one do appreciate it.
It's so funny, I'm rebuilding this exact engine for the same exact reason at this very moment! Rain water got into the cylinders through the air filter assembly. Small world.
I really enjoy the machinery vlogs and whatever you’re doing to them but I always especially like the engine rebuilds as they are next level. I’ve watched that many of your vlogs now I catch myself preempting your moves which is a credit to your teaching. Well done both you.
Hot dang it.. I do enjoy these engine rebuilds. Cracked rods sure are different. (Had to add) Clint always finds some cool music that relates well to the task at hand 🎶
It's really amazing that as you can drop the liners into the block (and have some skills with a few builds) can hear the seating against the O-ring when it bottoms out, it's home, makes the same sound. Just made an old engine builder smile. 😁
I get a lot of pleasure from watching you and Kevin work in an orderly way, but the laughter that we don't see, and that which we do, is great. Thanks to all of you and yours 😁. Thanks from the UK. Cheers.
Clint, certainly a fountain of knowledge, I will never rebuild a John Deere engine myself, but I enjoy seeing you do it. We have six Deere engines by the way. I enjoy knowing the process. Great vid.
Thanks for greatest show on earth. I enjoy watching you disassemble and reassemble. Your company (YOU) really knows its job. A little levity with a generous amount of know how. 👍
Even with just watching I learn a lot. That was/is a good session. Thanks. I have noticed that "Mr C" has a wicked scenes of hummer. He knows how very suttee which button to press, when he is working with someone who doesn't understand him, that brings a smile to my face. However those that understand him get on well & a lot more gets done.
Werry fun to watch you guys work like a piece of art. Like to see a "intervju " with your dad about his company and his work life. And to all haters please stop picking on thes god guys they making a great job.❤👍👍
You guys did a great job on that motor and Clint you seem to pick all the right people to know their certain skill and be willing to learn all that you can teach them. There never seems to be one person that stands around when they see something to do. You and everyone under you Clint are constantly willing to learn more off of every job you bring in. You show that what you sell is exactly what you say it is and people learn that your word is always your bond. GREAT JOB!
Clinton I feel your pain on price of john deere I got 4 cab air filters 1 oil filter and an engine air filter and spent 300 dollars it is expensive for sure love the video always very informative.
Nice video, wonder how how misses C&C reacted when she saw your reaction and comments in this video while she spoke ... I guess you had a nice sleep in the guest room :-) thumbs up.
Kevin is Kevin and I’m thankful for him!😂. A little comic relief!
I love the way your dad stops by and checks on you.
I just watched the Area Diesel Service video on the turbo you sent them and now another C&C vid. Still Feeling Thankful!
Yep…They said the turbo was in great shape 👍🏻🤩
They even up the balancing Thumps up 👍
Clint and Mrs C are hilarious together.
I was listening and thought a child was hollering. He kept saying no no lol I didn’t think he had grandchildren.
when she asked about the plane i was no no no
Went to the Area Diesel channel to watch the rebuild of the turbo. Technically very informative. I can see why Clint speaks so highly of them.
I am amazed at the work you do. Fun to watch. 👍🏻
Yes Area Diesel Service is remarkable. They can bring back to life parts that are no longer made . Incredible shop.
Hi guys

Keep up the good work and keep those videos coming . Tell the haters to go shit in their hats .
Got a big laugh when Mrs. C came out asking if the airplane was TRASH!
Clint between you and Kevin and the wary you take time to explain each and ever step of this engine repair I think at 79 years old I be leave I could do the engine repair myself . I watched Area Diesel's video on the Turbo. It is obvious that you have an industry leading reputation for quality.
😊 seeing Mrs C on the tools was something special.
Everybody but the Coast Guard helped in torquing the head!! Looks fabulous!!!

soooo basically y’all took a dozer frame and made a complete machine? that’s some awesome schitt!!!!!
This is a good series Clinton. Watched the ADS vid on the turbo the box opening was more difficult than the rebuild.😂
that was a little comic relief I didn't expect over there. He got it open though.
Another great video on this 850j guys and loved the banter, even Mrs C had a cameo. Safe travels y'all. Ken.
Hey Clint. You are right it was a 200 hour engine. Now it's a zero hour motor, brand new. Great work as always guys. Did you get the plane parts back in the cupboard? 🤣

Awesome
Bwahaha! I was cry laughing when Mrs. C showed up. That is me and my wife to a tee. Good stuff.
When you added the oil to the valve train it looked like you missed the proper sequence 😂

I don’t care what Kevin’s mother says about him,he is a good bloke.
That engine looks better than any brand new from the factory it was interesting engine rebuild 👍 👌

Superb Craftsmanship

Maybe if they would wear sombreros and eat tamales Juan Diego would sponsor them 🤷🏽♂️
I just love watching you all together. Never boring. Thank you for always making me chuckle. You all are amazing.
Can we see a video where Mrs C helps out on a project the whole day with Clint and Kevin. I think that would be EPIC!!!😂❤❤
My admiration for Mrs. Chitwood increases every day. It can't be easy.
Just had an injection pump for our 310 SG rebuilt by Area Diesel Service thanks to your content! Can't thank you guy's enough for sharing with all of us!!
Our pleasure!

That team work was a pleasure to watch.
Kevin is a master apprentice - ready to carry on Clint’s legacy
Really enjoyed watching the “professional“ rebuild of the big JD. 👍 That is going to be one nice machine when completed.
It's so funny, I'm rebuilding this exact engine for the same exact reason at this very moment! Rain water got into the cylinders through the air filter assembly. Small world.
Master piece! Great work! Video! Clint! Thanks for sharing! 👍👌
BOSS MAN 25 GRAND ALL IN THEN THAT'S NOT BAD .
Like the way Kevin always has your back, from handing you parts too making sure your oil can is filled ! You guys work great together !!
You provide excellent videos, it's always fun to watch. We need to see Kevins' El Camino... sometime.
Kevins comfort level with the Vaseline was disconcerting.
"I'm trying to grow as a person" my brain shorted out on that one , I'm trying to grow as a KEVIN
Good job guys love watching your videos keep em coming
The high speed assembly was hilarious. That is a crazy torque pattern. Great job as usual. Thanks.
The problem with being unique is the trail always leads back to you!
I feel I achieve some personal growth every time I watch a C+C equipment video, Mrs C is a hoot out in the shop.
Clint, you must say "All Right" at least 100 times per video!
A1 workmanship great to see
👍🇺🇲🇬🇧
Pretty darn good teamwork going on 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Kevin education is uno number one, and his finger painting classes came in handy, thanks common core! : )

Hot dang it.. I do enjoy these engine rebuilds. Cracked rods sure are different. (Had to add) Clint always finds some cool music that relates well to the task at hand 🎶
FANTASTIC but why don't you use the laser to clean up the engine parts and mating surfaces? Just wondering.
It's really amazing that as you can drop the liners into the block (and have some skills with a few builds) can hear the seating against the O-ring when it bottoms out, it's home, makes the same sound. Just made an old engine builder smile. 😁
And we appreciate all the you guys do.
Btw you handled the wife cameo beautifully!!! Bravo!!!!!!
Great video...showing the engine assembly ....very interesting.....Stay safe and see you soon
These videos never get old. Love it👍👍👍
I'll never rebuild a motor but man I love these assembly videos. Appreciate the content and the troll generators

When the engine gets done it's going to be perfect. I enjoy every single one of your videos. ❤

I loved the wife moving your airplane. That’s my wife always moving my stuff. I must say epic rebuild. Lol
Excellent job again best regards Alan and Ella from the UK yeah.

Kevin, I believe that Clint did say good job, I couldn't have done it better myself!
Great video. Your knowledge of engines is unbelievable.
John Deere makes a liner soap that my mechanics used to call it gnat's ass soap. It was the slickest soap that I ever saw. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy 🦃 day
12:47 Kevin reads from that phonics book with pictures only! And tell him it's not Free but Treee!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You and Kevin are a good team
