That open space in the new dining area would look so cute with a taller vintage cupboard (instead of a lower console)!! Maximise storage for kitchen/laundry/office bits and also something vintage would compliment so well with the modern undertones of the apartment. Such a cute space full of potential!!!

I would totally go for a round dining table to mimic the window areas that arc out! Also, I would hang a row of 3 or 4 matching mirrors down the entryway hallway to bring in more natural light and make the space look much wider! Then add a skinny console table below them with a little lamp and a chic dish for your keys❤
I love that with all this, you think about recycling! I’m not a huge recycler but I always thought it was weird that you’re the only person I watch who recycles other than boxes. Beautiful space! Cant wait to see more

Obsessed!! As someone who has a glass door shower, do yourself a favor and get a shower squeegee! If you use it after every shower, cleaning will be much easier

i recommend for that little corner between the coat closet and laundry door to put a 4-5 tier vertical standing cube shelf of sorts. since there’s an outlet right there you can get a little lamp to put on top that has a switch that you can turn on when leaving your apt for the night so that you don’t come home into darkness. then on the top cube you can have like a catch all area where you throw your hand bag of the day and keys etc. then the lower sections get storage bins and place your laundry and other cleaning supplies in it. a friend of mine has this same exact entrance in their place and this works great for them and doesn’t look like an eye sore in my opinion
I’m so torn over tv in the bedroom. I think when you have roommates - yes!! Tv in the bedroom, but if you live alone, it’s so much nicer having an entire room to lounge and sprawl and have a movie night. I found myself wanting my room to be a sacred place for sleep and relaxation, and having a tv would make me stay up later, get distracted and sometimes be more stressed. But idk! When I lived with other people, I loveeeed it

Do a corner cabinet in that little nook to the right of the laundry and the left of the coat closet. You can put detergent in it and use the top for a little bowl for your keys!! Then you can leave the long left wall for “pretties”

Very nice NYC apartment. Love the boat out windows with plenty of natural lighting. Have you tried using laundry detergent sheets? The package is like a 8 1/2 by 11 flat and you won't have to worry about finding space in your laundry area. True Earth is one brand that you could try. They are so much better than using liquid detergent.
