    Quick question:
Can you make a video of how to design the following setup by priority?
    1. Hot water heating
    2. Home heating
    3. Pool heating
The idea would be to keep the hot cooling liquid at the output of the S21 Hyd (or other liquid cooled miner) exchanging at all times with a hot water tank until this tank reaches 140 deg ºF. When the hot water tank reaches 140ºdeg the miner would stop exchanging with it and start exchanging with the home heating system until either the hot water tank is under 120ºdeg, at which point it would restart the exchange with the hot water heater OR, if the home has reached its temperature setpoint (and the hot water tank is still above 120º deg), then the miner would start exchanging with the swimming pool.
Is this feasible? How bad of an idea is it?
    Much appreciated!

I think this is very feasible! In my next video, I'm covering my own setup where I'm heating my water and my house...just like you noted, my hot water has 1st priority, then my home heating. I'll be covering pool heater design in the following episode (about a month or so out). Linking this all together successfully is going to depend on the specifics of each setup. Sounds like you've got something in mind for your setup...if you want to collaborate on a system design, I'd love to help!

Im adding a water cooled j pro 104 to my solar water heater setup… i may do a video if it works well.

bro this is awesome! guild me to my dream of heating my pool with gpus! I wonder what kind of calculation I could use to find out how many gpus I need for a small pool.

Thanks! Funny you ask...next episode is all about pool heating and I give some rough estimates on power vs. pool size. First step: How big of pool do you have (in 1000s of gallons)?

Or you could stop mining bitcoin and use that electricity to heat your home. Genius!!!

I think the point is to do both...same electricity use/cost...two outcomes: a warm home + providing security for the best monetary network.

Why would I want to heat hot water? It's already hot ffs...

Well...not here in the US...tap water typically comes in the house at around 50-60F (10-15C)...that makes for a cold shower in the morning! :-)

In most of the world, people use hot water cylinders (HWC). Everytime you use hot water cold water gets pushed into the HWC to replace it. The mining tank as a preheater pushes energy that you need to disperse into something that requires energy. This will reduce the amount of energy required to maintain the heated water if you are cycling water through the miners back into the HWC.
The same goes for heat pumps, preheated water doesn't require as much energy to bring to temp.
I think this is a brilliant idea, the only question is the efficacy of the heat exchange between the closed coolant loop and the cold water supply.
      I really like this idea.

Why the fuck would I want to heat my hot water? Let's start there, please.
