Awesome wood skills yet again. Your builds are so professional, I can see you having your own trail feature construction company in the future. I love watching your builds, even if they're things I wouldn't ever attempt. When I was your age, yes, but at less than a month from turning 55 I will stick to riding tech and exposure for my thrills. I am a wheels on the ground kinda rider nowadays

@@BackyardTrailBuilds how has it been going? I know these builds take a lot of time and all, but it would be really cool to hear about some progress from time to time here on TH-cam. I feel like viewership tends to go down not because of lack of quality (the content is amazing) but because a lot of people just forget about it completely. It's really sad, but I feel like the viewership is way lower than what it should be for the quality of content you are putting out. Take your time though, don't overwork yourself and get burnt out, it isn't fun whatsoever.
In 1983, my friends and I built a large quarter pipe up the front of one those friend's house using the wood from three large trestle tables and other donations. We were BMXers and would look into that friend's bedroom on the turn. It felt really high but was probably only about 15 feet up. I thought that was an ambitious build but - MAN - your build is incredible. Now in my 50's I content myself with wheelies on my hardtail (why can no-one else my age pull a wheelie?) because I'm way too breakable to consider flight these days but I watch you guys with sheer wonder in my heart.
You just gotta get some nice easy dirt tables to regain confidence, Nigel! I ride with dudes double my age that have just started jumping and they’ve gained a lot of confidence from some nice easy tables. Probably like 25 ft long but nice and mellow. It’s all about confidence!
Your wooden features are second to none! Literally never seen huge quality built features like this before, let alone well edited videos showing off your build process. Sick dude
I watch your builds in awe of your skills. Love the wood you get to use for these features, and agree with the other post, I expect you to have your own company at some point that specializes in these awesome wood designs. Appreciate you sharing your skills through the vids. Once again, great work!
14:20 Vessi shoes are great! I usually cant wear stretchy shoes cause I use orthotic inserts. I got the style with added support on the side of the shoe, and I haven't had any problems. I cant speak for sneaker heads, but seriously get these shoes. Their cheep ish, good quality, waterproof, look clean, slide on, and I think they're partially recycled. I could go on about these shoes, stop buying big brand sweat shop shoes. Vessi is the new wave. Plz sponser me Vessi lol
Please come to germany and build some of these breathtaking features....it`s a dream to watch all that you put your full love in your work......amazing an thx for all these great Videos......

Man, get yourself a big ass Barr drawknife and a spud shovel! Another cool build, gives me so much motivation for my own Onehweel trail system I'm building. Cheers!
Damn Dude, that's so freakin awesome, well done. So sweet to see you sticking to as many non power tools as you can and using some good joinery. Love that Cedar you have so much of, so beautiful and doesn't look to be too much of a challenge to work with, at least when green. Curious if you've ever had any issue with stuff you've built using the green Cedar that then dried out and maybe shrunk a bit too much?
I was actually looking over some of my older stuff just recently wondering the same! So far so good though! Cedar doesnt have much shrinking occur luckily so I dont see it ever being too much of a problem.
Great video , i didnt know you before i had this video on my startpage of youtube , but i figured out , that you are inspiring me to built also cool things like you :)thanks man
Just amazing work bro. Your cinematic skills are definitely improving as well. This video was a real pleasure to watch. You definitely never disappoint 🤘🏻
I love that idea of taking the logs that would be felled during the construction, and re using them for the feature. Makes it feel sustainable and just awesome
Sick Building Dude! Just such a huge build it is just mind blowing🤯 to see that feature and riding it looks really fun! Hope I can ride that someday! And just an amazing build I can watch this for days!
