FINALLY!!! It's great Paul to see you doing this type of video. Why? Because your branching out to the HT audio side of thing's which I have shifted my focus to now that I proudly own an LG C3. Please keep doing more my friend and EXCELLENT video and very nice speaker package.
I had the XT60 towers with XT30,, XT12, XT90 height speakers and XT15 surrounds, i replaced the XT30 with the XT35 due to the height of the 30, then after about 6 months changed the towers to Polk ES60, the centre to the ES35 and the surrounds to ES15's the XT range are pretty decent but the ES range blows them out of the water, have still got the XT12 Sub but will probably replace that with the SVS1000 sub in a couple of months, i power them all with the Marantz Cinema 70s, which some say is underpowered but i think its fine, i get all my equipment from Peter Tyson
Have a 7.1 Wharfedale diamond speaker package attached to my OLED, powered by a 4K Sony amp. Once you go down the full size speaker package road, there ain’t no going back 😀
Full size are always best if you can accommodate them 😊
All depends on the size of the room. I've had people around that's never seen an AVR before.
Have similar setup with my LG OLED TV. SVS Pro Subwoofer with a Denon AVR with Wharfedale Speakers. Sounds Amazing.

But if it doesn't, he probably will now 😅
With Marantz & Denon AV Receivers they have Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume which makes the sound loud at lower volumes, so does not annoy the neighbours, l use those and never get any complaints

It's hard to believe that this small center (compared to the floor-standing speakers) is good enough to reproduce dialogues clearly. (It already seems very small)
Probably be better paired with Polk Stand Mount speakers
@@Music.Movies.67The XT30 is fine with the towers, much better than the XT35 slimline centre, which I probably wouldn't bother with if I had the XT70s
If you like your music as much as you like your movies, then a 5.1 speaker package with an AVR might just be the way to go.
Unlike a soundbar, which is great for dialogue but not so great for music. Experiencing a pair of stereo speakers, especially if those speakers are being driven by an AVR/AMP, is not just the next level, but it's the way stereo music was actually intended to be heard! And of course, as well as the movies, adding a subwoofer to your music gives your stereo signal the ability to go full-range. Now, that's where the warmth of musical instruments comes from

Stereo Amp like from Arcam be even better than a AV Receiver for music playback, Stereo Amps were made for 2ch music, whilst AV Receivers were made for Surround sound
The AVR is still great for Music. You can always put it on Stereo if you choose. Plus with a subwoofer helps your speakers out at the low end and improves quality.

As I was listening through the sound bar I had to turn it down lol did sound good tho.i would have a AV receiver and separate amp has would have a 7.2.4 set up if didn't have a house that was connected to another house it wouldn't be fair lol my Samsung soundbar bad enough 😂
