I have the original advantage charging handle and love it, even with the minor higher height. I am eager to get the next model, for the next 10/22. Thanks! And Bill's beard is starting to scare the children and small animals!
I would like to see a model where you can put on custom, modular charging handles. Swap them out, or have larger, 2 finger handle grips. Similar to the Ruger PC Charger, charging handles. Different sizes, colors, and styles would allow people to further customize their 10/22 guns.
@@TANDEMKROSS me too! Might call to see if we can work something out..my mkiv is already TK'd out and I'm now tweaking the 10/22, already using doublekross, love them..considering new extended bolt release too, just wondering about other colors than just red
@@TANDEMKROSS Just put this on my 10/22 Charger. Test cycle good . Put on Crimson micro dot. Couldn't charge bolt. Took off dot. It then was free again. Two tries again same result. So I put it farther back on the rail towards my eye, then I BARELY put any pressure on the dot and it was ok. I'm just very worried my dot will get loose often. Has there been any binding issues B4? I put your Ultimate Trigger Kit in and love it. Thanks for any feedback.
I'm new to the gun community and want to build a 1022 from scratch, so please forgive my noob questions. But can this charging handle work with the fletcher open-top 11/22 reciever? Thanks in advance.
The whole upgrade screws directly onto the receiver but as far as the charging handle itself, it does not make contact with factory Ruger receivers! You will not need to worry about obstruction or scuffing up the receiver.
@@TANDEMKROSS thanks I was looking under the new section. If it was not for this video I would of never known that it got updated. I am about to go order one. Are the ruger pc bundles coming back as far as internal kit and external kit. I need another one my son is ready for his upriser kit and internal rebuild. Thanks for all the great products and helping my son get into the sport.
Pro Tips: It might be nice to specify exactly what size Torx driver is needed for the installation, rather than just saying "a small Torx wrench." If someone tries putting in, say, T10 mounting screws with a T8 driver - both of which are "small Torx" - they're gonna be mighty unhappy with the results. Also, perhaps a note to put a *VERY LIGHT* amount of blue Locktight on the screws, and NOT IN THE RECEIVER HOLES... You know some bright spark is gonna put half a tube of "Blue Glue" on the screws, where it will drip down through the receiver holes and all over the rifle's bolt assembly, gumming the poor thing up beyond belief. In fact, it wouldn't be a half-bad idea to remove the bolt before gluing in the mounting screws, and giving the underside of the receiver roof a good look-see, to be sure that A.) the screws aren't driven in so far they're gonna drag the top of the reciprocating bolt, and B.) there isn't a flood of Locktight in there, waiting to goo up the boltworks. Yeah, I know.... "Common Sense." From what I can see from here, "common sense" ain't all that common any more.
@@blazkowicz9455 A fair bit if your gonna push it out there. More than most really, got 40MOA on mine. If you can learn to shoot .22 accurate with how much it drops and how much the wind pushes that light little projectile around you can shoot anything accurate. As a bonus even the match grade ammo is dirt cheap compared to big centerfire stuff and It makes the local range feel longer effectively at practice.

It's because he stole Alex's beard!

That's a really interesting idea! I'll mention it to our product dev team.
Very very well done.
Definitely getting one.
Thanks, glad to hear it!

Very nice, for someone shooting in a sports shooting. Nice product. I like the magazine extension release. You all sale that as well?
we do yes! all of the upgrades are on our website!
I expect that this will fit and work perfectly on the Charger pistol? Left charge will be good for righty shooters.
Yes, it will work on the Charger. And if for some reason it doesn't, our Lifetime Guarantee lets you return it for a full refund.

Great improvement
I need to know which red dot fits on top of this unit. Thanks.
The "Advantage" is compatible with standard picatinny mounted scope rings or scope mounts.

But can this charging handle work with the fletcher open-top 11/22 reciever? Thanks in advance.
Also, I'm planning on using a kidd complete bolt set up. Thanks again in advance
It will not work with the 11/22 receiver, sorry!
@TANDEMKROSS thanks for the response. Take care friend.
Will a Leopold VX Freedom 3-9x40 Rimfire MOA fit on this rail?
as long as it is picatinny it should!
Will the left side charging handle actuate the right side if it is a stock charging handle or does it need an extended charging handle to work?
It works with the factory handle!
is there a torque spec for the four bolts?
Ruger® (ruger.com/dataProcess/serialHistory/manuals.php#Rifle) specifies 12-15 in-lb torque on 10/22 scope base mounting screws.
Will this work with Spectre Ballistics Chassis?
Does the charging handle make contact with the top of the receiver?
The whole upgrade screws directly onto the receiver but as far as the charging handle itself, it does not make contact with factory Ruger receivers! You will not need to worry about obstruction or scuffing up the receiver.
When will it be put on the website
I believe it’s shipping now.
Looks like a fabulous improvement
It is already available. I updated the description to include the link.

Missed opportunity to include 20 or 30 MOA ?
How much elevation do you really need for a .22?

I'm a south paw. No sale.
I was really interested in knowing this. Thanks for telling us.
great info! I told my Uncle about you. Would love to know more, thanks!
This would be awesome on my sks. Bet it would just need to be upscaled @tandemkross
I have the magwedge top rail on mine, if you could adapt this design to that on an sks I think youd sell ALOT of them.
