The “EcoBoost” name is perfect. There is absolutely no need to change it. It is unbelievable that a 4 cylinder engine can make this much power. This is a real muscle car. 310hp and 350 lb-ft. 0 to 60 in about 5 seconds. We used to get these numbers in a muscle car just 10 years ago, and even today those are respectable numbers. Doesn’t matter what the haters have to say. Most of them haven’t even driven one of them.
Yeah This one is also a more affordable version too Cheaper. 300hp. Decent mileage. What's to hate? It may not be a "rEaL MuStAnG" due to 4 cylinders but 300hp is not really weak
Despite all the negative opinions about this car, I heard that many people are really happy with it. Also, I think ecoboost is super nice because there are many people who wants to drive sports cars without putting up with bad gas mileage. Also I think many people wants to drive Mustangs as a daily driver so this is a really nice option.

Having a 2018 Mustang GT and being in the local clubs and biggest Mustang 6th gen forum...There honestly is not as much hate for the eco boost as you think. Maybe 5 years ago sure but not now. Their aftermarket is strong, they got proven chops on the track being much lighter in the front, and the take rate vs the GT is about the same. Just buy the car you like I say, leave the haters in the dust lol.
I wouldn't buy new mustang for 38k. Just wait until it depreciates in a few years then pick one up. This car would be good for younger teens/adults who want a sports car, but can't afford all the gas/insurance/repairs bills that come with it.
Noban Tahir you can get one new for under 30 so the depreciation is on par with most cars in this segment. Im curious to see how all ICE cars take a big hit in the next few years with EVs becoming more common
American car manufacturers didn't produce a v6 back then. A inline 6 was the economy engine choice. They didn't get good mileage though. I had a 69 Mustang with powerful small block, and a friend had a 70 Duster with a 6. They both had bad mpg but the 6 had no power.
@@charlesvan13 the 225 that your friends duster had probably did get decent gas mileage, your just remembering wrong. And i can guarantee you the i6's that ford offered got great gas mileage.
The EcoBoost Mustang is cool when you tune it. Plenty of torque on tap. But after owning one for a few years I should've just gone for the GT. Also, for the select few people in the comments- exhaust notes aren't the defining features of V8 engines. Buy a V8 because of the power it'll produce. Anyone who bases engine selection on the exhaust note can cry to sleep after getting gapped by a Tesla.
I had a old 5.0 I beefed up a bit. When I picked up my 2015 eco convertible, I was searching for a fun factor. This offers it, and is affordable. The exhaust of a 5.0 can not get beat, so why bother. I have to say that I have gotten a ton of thumbs up by 5.0 drivers.
Can this so called eco boost poppet valved 2 stroke run in multiple positions, yes it can it ran amsoil dominator 2 stroke oil and it did fine, I ran it at any position on s homade tilt mount, this engine will run nothing but amdoil Sabre professional 2 stroke oil. If you don’t like that than come and do something about it, it’s been converted to a loop charged valved 2 stroke
Yeah them 2 stroke loop scavenged poppet valved mustangs, a 427 SOCH would make a nice 2 stroke conversion, Now Acahets power is aggavatiing forf to make a opposed piston 2.7 l 2 stroke with 270 hp and 485 ft lbs of torque. i like the 2 stroke but this motor is tried in and f-150
Im am sure it can ru in any position with dry sump and oil injection. i have plenty of klotz synthetic 2 stroke oil and a few VRO pumps sitting around, it should work
Bumble Bee no replacement for displacement. Own a 14 mustang 5.0 and its music to my ears everytime i start it up and drive it with the exhaust on it, not to mention i only paid 21k and have 420hp 😎
I have owned BOTH the ecoboost and now a supercharged V8 GT Mustang. I LOVED my ecoboost it was an awesome unit. Thrify, powerful and plenty of lower end torque. Only reason I got the supercharged GT was because it was a steal price wise and I don’t drive much anymore so fuel consumption is no longer an issue for a DD.
I had a 1974 Mustang II Ghia with a 6 cyclinder and 4 speed manual. It was my daily driver and I loved it. With my second child I needed a larger car so had to sell it for a Dodge Caravan. Now I have a 2017 EcoBoost premium and love it. It is so smooth and fast when I need speed. Hubby loves driving it on curvy roads. I didn't even test drive a V8. I just don't need the extra power of the V8. I get so many compliments on the looks of my ruby red Mustang and I'm so happy to once again be a member of the Mustang family.
For those of you who know your Mustang history, the legendary 8 cylinder four-barrel 351 Cleveland in the 1970-72 Mustangs and Cougars made 300 hp. Gearheads still seek out these motors for their power and performance. This four-cylinder Ecoboost makes 310 hp. And let’s face reality: the horsepower wars are ridiculous. How many of you are actually on a drag strip racing a production car? Long as you have enough power on tap to pass when needed, you’re set. And frankly, once you have a decent car that capability is as much about skill as anything. So there’s no value in having a car with 587 hp or 812 hp etc. One more bit of info: the base engine in the base 1964 Mustang was a 2.8 liter inline 6 cylinder that made 105 hp. 310 hp is golden in this car. Perfect amount of power. More powerful than the 4-barrel 351 Cleveland..... enjoy the ride!
Well yesterday I drove 5 different Mustangs" automatics and Stick. Learning for my job, in sales. Have to tell you, one of my fav top 2 was the Ecoboost. I thought it wouldn't be fast, but boy. I was wrong. And the drive, SMOOTH...........Was impressed. You have to try to see and feel.
I test drove one of these, mainly because I didn't think they'd let me test drive a GT if it wasn't ready to buy, but the ecoboost did impress me. It was pretty quick, sounded good from the cabin. Thankfully it didn't have the performance exhaust because these was a cop on the street I was test driving on.
Cristho Sanchez That’s the color of my 2018 Mustang GT! I love it, and I keep it super clean because the color is so eye catching. Turns heads for sure!
I tried a 2019 ecoboost recently and the 2020 model is 1000% going to be my next mustang (want the "Fifty Five" badge lol). Good enough gas mileage for daily use and performance is good enough for fast/aggressive driving on the local streets and highways.
I have a 2019 EcoBoost and got it partly because I wanted something that was fun to drive and got fairly good mpg as I drive 65 miles each way to work. The EcoBoost does all that and more. I'm very happy!
Im thinking about selling my v6 and saving for an ecoboost but certain people will say the car is pretty reliable and will last over 200k miles and some people say they blow up at 70k miles would u recommend it ive seen some ecoboosts selling for 14-15k with 50-70k miles
I never had any issues with my EcoBoost, but I ended up trading mine in for a 2022 Challenger Scat Pack. It had nothing to do with the EcoBoost or its reliability.
Having driven a in-laws ecoboost I was pretty impressed with the car honestly. Sure it didn’t have what I like about my GTs but it wasn’t a bad package at all. I’m willing to bet insurance and fuel savings are a nice bonus.
I honestly prefer the EcoBoost over the V8. You still get a good amount of power, the lower maintenance costs, and much better fuel economy with normal driving. To throw in some more spiciness, the tons of amazing and reliable modification options that make more a difference, without having to spend as much as buying another brand new car.
@@saauuzza The Mustang wasn't originally designed to be a muscle car. It was designed to be a "Pony car", i.e. a cheap, fun 2 door sports car that happened to have a V8, but there was also some I6s offered below the V8 offerings. This mustang has a 4 cylinder offering, which usually results in better fuel economy over the V8.
@@DavyDave1313 couple thousand more? I have had a 2016 gt pp that's not what I'm really looking for in a car now, I know it's not the popular opinion but I drive a lot and it makes the most sense for me.
This is now one of the cars I want. Because it is 2.3 instead of 5.0, since the engine size affects price a lot here in Finland & Also the gasoline is really expensive. This could now be one daily drive car i someday will get.
I was with you and started to accept the EcoBeast Stang. Until 5:10 Sorry, I just can’t do it. You COULD buy a Mustang with something other than a V8. You COULD a FWD BMW. You COULD buy a Wi-F enabled salt shaker. But why?
just picked up a ‘19 ecoboost premium today. after my grandma owning one since 2015 and learning to drive in hers this is just such an amazing pick and i LOVE the power and daily usability.
Im a V8 5.0 BADGE WITH ROAR and START UP..came from a '15 SHO NPP. I went with the 4cy 2.3L 2021 200a HPP with MAGNA RIDE .. Not a track guy.. NYC EVERYDAY DRIVER,GAS PRICES, MUCH LIGHTER AND MOST IMPORTANT CHEAPER CAR INSURANCE..WILL UPGRADE IN THE FUTURE...im super happy!!!!.
Got my 2019 EB mustang with a 6 speed and im very happy with it. Could it use more power? Sure... what car can’t? This one will still get you a reckless driving ticket pretty quick.
I just picked up my Orange Fury ecoboost 6speed 2 weeks ago and I love it. As much as I’d love to have a V8, I need something for the winter. The ecoboost is a ton of fun and I can’t say enough good things about it. Save the manuals
Does it ride pretty smooth or is it rough ride over the bumps on the road I don’t know how old you are but I am 60 years old and I would love to have this car I’m just not sure how rough it is… Thank you
The DylanPlayer I mean, I just think it sounds weird coming from a mustang. People seem to like the sound of the Focus RS which pretty much has the same engine so it’s kinda funny how it’s labeled as “terrible sounding” when it’s on a mustang
I think that's because a Mustang its always seen as a V8. So therefore you expect that V8 sound from it. I used to have a 2015 mustang EcoBoost, but I switched to a 18 GT, cuz of that sound.
Hell ya I've got a '19 GT 6 speed as well with the PP1 and active exhaust. I installed an MGW short throw shifter and did a resonator delete. Sounds incredible. Love it.
Gorgeous orange fury paint on that Ecoboost Joe!! That was my second choice after the velocity blue that I got my GT in. I wish my RS had sounded as good as the active exhaust on that Mustang!! Great review brother!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I own a 2013 - 3.7 love it! Gets no respect and I understand all that. Runs great, tons of fun bargain price used, good mpg mid-20s combined. The only mod I have made is to drop in a K&N air filter. I have owned Cameros and Mustangs from the 70s and 80s and my 2013 V6 has better specs, runs faster than them by far (the beneficiary of 30+ years of engineering) In my thinking you can't go wrong with todays 5.0 or the 2.3 each are great options just depends on you and what you want.
Leased one for 3 years before trading in for an 18 ten speed eco. It's not worth it in my opinion the low end power is noticeably better in the eco and for cheap it has game changing mod potential. I also had drone in my v6 auto with aftermarket exhaust while i do not in the eco
@@mckookie2967 cool. i had the V6 as well. took a second before any power kicked in off the line. thinking about either the 5.0 but now looking at eco. love the 5.0 sound man but i don't race and just need commuter car and love the mustang. the v6 sound was ok....never bothered me. plus, driving on the road, who's gonna hear the sound anyway unless you light it up, which i don't plan on doing much at all. i love the new mustang styles and to be honest, been thinking of the eco's with the premium pack. not sure.
@@RotterStudios Its an excellent car i recommended. I daily drive it for work 40 miles a day 5 days a week and its very comfortable and gas last me a full week with that mileage, doing either highway or canyon driving depending on traffic. I SVT tuned mine for $400 which made it a lot faster and then i installed a K&N intake for fun. Sound is actually decent with aftermarket exhaust, i transferred the same flowmaster i had on my v6 to it. Saving up for a 2020 vette now tho
the reason behind the manual back is so your rear passengers can get in and out. I'm looking forward to get one...not sure if i want the stick or the 10 speed yet...I'm really wanting a stick, but that 10 speed has me shying away from it!
I own a V8 385 rear end and a 2.3T....I love them both! The V8 is so loud I got a ticket one time, the turbo is a little quieter but has almost the same push! Both stick! I have more fun in the 2.3 as I use it for daily commute and those who wanna test me!
I just got a Black 2019 Mustang Ecoboost with Quad tips about a month ago & i'm in love with it. On track mode it sounds very good lots of pops and whistles & very low end torque which makes it fun. 22mpg average. I do not like how in 2020 Mustang they changed the looks for the worse, extremely happy i didnt wait for it!!! If youre deciding what to get, get the 2019 Quad tip.... if you can find one that is
I ordered from factory 2019 Mustang EcoBoost premium with pony package and active exhaust. Love the technology, style and everything else. I have owned countless mustangs since 1981, and enjoyed the V8s. But, for my daily mustang the modern, 2019 EcoBoost fits my lifestyle.

I had a 2018 Mustang eco boost with PP1 for a little over a year. I traded it for a 2019 Mustang GT with PP1. No regret. If the GT is what you want and love, don’t settle for an eco boost because of pricing. However, I’m not bagging on the Eco, because it’s pretty fast and fun to drive. I must say though, there’s nothing like starting up a 5.0 every day🤷♀️
I got mine, with the same equipment (except for the gauge cluster), and I love it. I love the noise it makes with the turbo, and even though it is ~300lbs less than the GT, you can feel the difference in the front for sure! It is a great car all around. However, with that said, don’t be me, and buy one new, buy one used because, last I checked, the resale value was around $23k right now. You will love the car for sure!
Raiti's Rides Haha, thank you! I love your videos. I actually used to work for a Ford dealership as a sales professional. You do a really good job! Keep up the good work!
Just traded up to this model in white yesterday. I had the 2017 basic package before and loved the whole experience. It has plenty of power for a daily drive and long hauls. Its a very comfortable drive - 13 hrs felt like a trip the mall. I love the body shape of the 17 in Electric Blue , with the slightly higher bumps on the bonnet , but I know I will get used to the new body shape. I will get the back window tinted to match the roof just to finish it off. Love the Mustang as a car.
I know a lot of people in the car community who just shit on the ecoboost mustang. But people I know just seem to adore the ever loving shit out of them. When I do my research to buy a car I usually just start looking up the benefits of each one, reviews, crash tests, power, gas mileage. I don't need another booming V8 to car for. I think this is a winner. I was impressed with the crash tests and impressed with all the reviews. Power, (some) reliability and gas mileage seem to be up there. Though I guess it might change my opinion when I drive the car. I just need to get that connection to truly garner a experince.
Next year i want to replace my 2011 V6 with a 2018 GT but if our politicians (Germany) go crazy with CO2 pricing and other environment laws to make cars like a GT unaffordable for normal people i will get a 2019 Ecoboost with the quad exhaust. Its good that Ford offers engine options for countries that are not blessed with cheap gas prices and car/gas taxes like the US.
Tell me about it mate, i am from Slovakia and facing same issue! Its crazy, according to new law, registration fees of new car are calculated based on KW. For all above 250 kw is price 4000 EUR just for licence plates! Its crazy! Anyway i am gonna buy that V8, i think its most likely last chance of purchasing affordable V8 in EU (if we dont wanna pay 100k eur for top tier german luxury cars).
The 2019 Mustang EcoBoost premium is perfect I had that car for almost two years before someone slammed into the back of it and destroyed it and every day that I rode in that car was like a dream. I was so smitten with that car that I'm going today to go get the exact same one that I had
A Mustang can be a 1 litre that it will never be a bad car. What happens is that people judge way to fast and way to early and worst, based on no experience but by what they think but after the have a go, they see things in a different perspective and their opinion changes. For example, I used to really hate Smart cars. I had my mind set about those cars in a very wrong way until I went to work in Austria and my friend had one. I used to drive it there and started to like it and I saw that I has simply had set my mind to hate something I had no experience with. Then I drove it all by myself from Langenfeld, Austria to Porto, Portugal and I became even more fan of it. Today I really like those cars. In the US people still have that concept of "its only good if its big" and that is wrong. Cars are much lighter today and small engines give you loads of fun and fuel consumption is better.
Just bought mine and love it! I have a 2014 GT but I drive my ecoboost since I work almost an hour away, gonna have this one for about 2-3 years and hopefully can get another GT
Tyler Johnson that’s hard man, I would definitely prefer the GT the only real reason I was ok with getting Ecoboost is because I have a GT to enjoy when I’m not driving back and forth, but yeah top choice would be GT
@@jonathangarcia3845 lol a very valid point. Plus the gas milage is negligible. The Coyote is a pretty efficient V8 from what I've seen. Thanks for the insight man. Hope your next hot rod works out well for you man.
It’s actually a beast. It has a blow off valve on the turbo so you can make it go WHOOOOOOSH. 5.3 0-60 is better than many cars by it self, and if you were to mod this baby, then you can really push it too points where people would die for this car.
Looking into the eco boost version. Will be coming off of another 4 cylinder so no issues of not having a V8. Ive seen them brand new as low as $21,994 for a 2019 model. Just want some fun in my daily drive to work.
I’ve been in that car and did some pulls honestly it’s not the worst acceleration but certainly not slow, it’s got sm kick to it and fr what it is it’s a fun drive
I spent the last 2wks. in the PNW driving the heck out (2500mi)of the Mustang Ecoboost, driving it with "purpose" got me 26mpg consistently throughout our vacation. I gained a new respect for the 2.3 Ecoboost. Mountainous regions were not an issue, passing was great and overall acceleration was very much acceptable. Without a doubt, the differences between the Eco and the V8 are significant in purpose and cost. This proved to be a very fun car, that has a great value for the money.
I drove Ecoboost premium today, it's so compact and good, if you aren't able to afford a GT or Mach-E , this is your car! REVed 0-60 in 5.25 seconds.. Loved it
Does anyone know if it'd be possible to get ford to install the blacked-out roof after purchasing? I just bought a brand new 19' GT and i would love to (in the future) get that roof blacked out because wow does that make the car look nice and accents it beautifully. Thanks in advance.
Picking mine up tomorrow after work. Ended up getting a MT Ecoboost Premium /w Performance Pack and Mangeride in the best color available IMHO, Velocity Blue. Coming from a Focus ST, I had an idea what to expect from the powerband, but wasn't ready for that extra power. A welcome shock to say for sure.
Well, needless to say, I love it, but, for now I am going to soldier on with my 2017 Ford Focus ST. Cheap is good, Ford practically dumped this thing in my lap and said "enjoy" I consider them collectable. I will start with finding a more mellow SE version for winter months (Buffalo, N.Y.)
End of 2021 I’m getting a 2016 eco boost. I have a budget and it’s the best value for my budget. If I had an unlimited amount of money sure but MPG & insurance plus other factors of living this is my pick
I had a 2012 GT which I loved, but sold it like a dufus in 2015. To each their own, but I really loved the styling of the Mustang from 2011-2014. It looked like a pony car. I never liked this styling: longer nose, squared off sides; etc. It looks more like a sports car. At $38K for an Ecoboost, if I wanted to pursue this type of car I would get the new Camaro LT1 V8. Chevy really brought the Camaro back with the improved styling after they blundered the 2019 Camaro (which was ugly). 455 V8 horsepower for starting price of $34K. That would be my option. Just my 2 cents, because at the end of the day it's really up to the consumer what they want.
I have a 2919 EcoBoost premium with the digital screen..love this car..faster than what u think, really quick, smooth shifts and ride..cruise control is great, speed is better than I thought..cruised at 105mph on the interstate with no issues..gas mileage is great..very comfortable with the leather seats..sport plus mode is really fast..not gt but really quick..handles like a dream..corners amazing..love it
Good review, as always. There’s a Mustang for everyone, and while I love the V8 and assumed I would buy one, and could afford it, in the end I went with a 2020 Ecoboost Premium, well-optioned, no need to finance. Had to buy quickly as changed jobs and no more company car, and had a $1,500 coupon from Ford about to expire, so but local dealer inventory. Knowing what I know now, I would have looked harder for one with the performance package, but my silver 2020 hasn’t disappointed, and with regular maintenance am hopeful the little 4-banger will continue to perform. Mine does have the active exhaust, but I know it still sounds like a smoothie machine on high, as one reviewer put it. The V8 crowd should be grateful for the Ecoboost, Ford sells so many that they’re able to continue to develop the other Mustang performance offerings. If Mustang was only a V8 I don’t think they would sell enough to justify continually developing. As for the 2024, about the only thing I can say I like are the hood struts. About time, Ford! Camero lives on in the 2024 Mustang.
I really do believe that if you love your car and are happy then so be it. However...38K for a 4 banger mustang..? for $25-30k you can get a fully loaded 15-17 Mustang GT...and if you dont want a V8 the 15-17 4 bangers fully loaded are going for as low as $16k..
Some of the best honest videos on new cars and not afraid to ZONK outside the dealership so no sucking up. I have an orange GT and LOVE IT the wife is a little worried to drive the car as she says it is to powerful however she loves the car. Now seeing this honest review I guess a trip to Ford will be on the way, any idea to when the NEW ECOBOOST will be ready? The 330hp will be the option, no point getting older model.
Base Ecoboost with the performance pack/6 sod manual comes in at 29 grand. Better suspension, gears, etc. For that price it’s a good deal. For 38 grand though, I’d be looking at a GT.
Great review as always Joe! I always say the EB Mustang provides a great value & performance for the price. I have a 2016 one and the stigma of people saying it's a crappy car because it isn't a V8 always is annoying.... then I realize I got the car for me and if I like it... well that's all that matters. Any EB Mustang deserves more respect than it gets. Quick question for you. I've heard a lot of reviewers complain about the 10 speed auto not only in the EB, but also in the newer GTs. They say sometimes it gets confused and it can't figure out what gear it wants to be in. Sometimes it responds slow.... What do you think of it? Also do you think it's kind of weird with 10 gears, like the car always feels like it's shifting? That's one reason I'm keeping my '16 instead of upgrading to a newer one is because mine has the older 6 speed auto. Thanks for what you do!
The black roof, ponies, wheels, and spoiler are all part of the optional Black Accent package. The package costs about $800. It's a lot of bang for the buck. If you had that roof painted after the fact, it would be for a cost of $1,000. Also if you purchased those black wheels from the dealer outside of the package, they would cost $900 a piece.
The original 1964 1/2 Mustang that I saw advertised on billboards in Chicago when I was a kid listed at $2368 FOB and came with a base 170 cu in inline 6 engine and had a 3-speed manual transmission mounted on the floor. There was an optional 260 cu in V-8 available, with a 289 cu in engine a little later. The 289 eventually replaced the 260 entirely.
Hello Joe I'm not really surprised with this EcoBoost Mustang I think its sounds like a Ford Focus RS in my opinion, doesn't pull like heck off of the line and just overall nah. I'm a full out GT guy. Would love to see a 2019 Ford Taurus SHO fully loaded before Ford discontinues their sedan lineup. Thanks Joe.
I rented a 2016 Mustang EcoBoost Premium convertible a few years ago for a drive from NC to NJ and back. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, with its soft touch panels and overall fit and finish. It didn't have as much HP as the GT, but for what I needed, it worked and I could see it being a great daily driver. It was comfortable on the long trip, and I didn't have to stop and fuel every couple hours.
That quad tip exhaust makes all the difference. I love my 2019, dark blue, white stripes ecoboost. Everyone thinks it's a GT or even GT500 from far away. The only issue is I didn't have the option for the quad tip exhaust so mine makes literally no noise lol. Kind of embarrassing at stop lights but whatever.

Their aftermarket is strong, they got proven chops on the track being much lighter in the front, and the take rate vs the GT is about the same. Just buy the car you like I say, leave the haters in the dust lol.

Deep down he mustang community loves this car its just typical TH-cam fan boy hate who don't own any.
If the gt is good why would the eco boost be bad. Less power for sure but decent car to drive and nice with a tune.
Its actually amazing with tune.
Some people slightly modify them and claim they make 350+. Great deal, I’m selling my Infiniti and prolly buying an eco.

I wouldn't buy new mustang for 38k. Just wait until it depreciates in a few years then pick one up. This car would be good for younger teens/adults who want a sports car, but can't afford all the gas/insurance/repairs bills that come with it.
Insurance isn't the cheapest thing for it but cheaper than the V8
True I got quoted 400 for a eco boost mustang as a 21 year old brand new I think when it’s 8 to 10 years old it will be a steal
Commando Master almost bought a 2018 pp that was for $24,500 with 11,500 miles and mods, so if u find them they're already depreciating hard
Noban Tahir you can get one new for under 30 so the depreciation is on par with most cars in this segment. Im curious to see how all ICE cars take a big hit in the next few years with EVs becoming more common
Commando Master lol anybody can get a sports car for sub30k nowadays without the repair bills. Tons of options up to 350hp
I drove mine for 1.5 hours and got 32 MPG. Mixed city highway.
That is really awesome!
3000 miles in and I love it. Most of the car guys I work with that have 5.0 and others don’t hate
That is so awesome to hear!
Actually the 1964 mustang did offer another engine option, but it was an inline 6 not a v6.
You are so right!
Yeah, that mistake after 1 minute, almost made me stop watching the video. LOL
100% correct lot of people don't under the engines sometimes
I have to say that I have gotten a ton of thumbs up by 5.0 drivers.
just got a new 2019 ecoboost today! I didn’t need the power of the V8 and this is only my second car so I have time to expand!
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I really appreciate you watching!
Bruce Miller dude, are you good? all i gave was my reason of getting the ecoboost. no need to get your panties in a twist
Im am sure it can ru in any position with dry sump and oil injection. i have plenty of klotz synthetic 2 stroke oil and a few VRO pumps sitting around, it should work
Whatever floats your boat 🚣♀️. I like big power so I opt for a V8, young people looking for style and affordability, this is a good option.
Its nice but, I know everytime I press down on the gas pedal I'd hear 'you could of had a V8'.
I own one and I love it to death, but that is 100% the truth 😂😭
The noise is great with the V8 of course. Though I'm still super happy with my 2.3T! It's quick!

Yes, yes we do want more Mustang Joe.

@1:00 The first base mustang came with a 170 cu in 2.8 in-line 6, the Cologne V6 was introduced in 1974 on the Mustang II.
Thanks for that great info!

This color is so sexy 👏🏻
I totally agree Anderson!
I just wish it had a different name. I think that's where a lot of the stigma comes from.
You may be right Tyler.
I agree anything "Eco" is hard to attach to performance.
I have a 2021 Ecoboost with 10 Speed and took a 430 Mile trip and it got 36 MPGs. I was Very Impressed and the ADAPTIVE CRUISE is FANTASTIC!!
That is so wonderful Fran! Great Job!

I really love mustang 2019 ecoboost for my daily used * im from philippines ^_^ the best is low consumption of gas and im enjoying it*
What is your average consumption per km?
I tried a 2019 ecoboost recently and the 2020 model is 1000% going to be my next mustang (want the "Fifty Five" badge lol). Good enough gas mileage for daily use and performance is good enough for fast/aggressive driving on the local streets and highways.
That is so very awesome ! Congrats!
I hope you got your 2020 Eco. I bought my 2020 Eco on my 55th birthday so the “55” dash plate was a nice touch. I’ve been very pleased with it so far.
I have a 2019 EcoBoost and got it partly because I wanted something that was fun to drive and got fairly good mpg as I drive 65 miles each way to work. The EcoBoost does all that and more. I'm very happy!
How has reliability been ?

I totally agree with you!
The only thing that bothers me about the Mustang-in any version-is that there's no sunroof option.
Many people have complained about that.
I agree. I loved the sunroof on my 1974 Mustang II. But it's hard to do a sunroof with the fastback style which I think is awesome.
I think they need to add that glass roof option they had back in 2013
A Mustang can be a 1 litre that it will never be a bad car.

Thanks for letting me hare it with you!
On future vids when checking the exhaust sound I would put the start up sound in along with the revs😊
He used to do that but I think he stopped because it's not good to start an engine and immediately rev on it.
I used to do that!
@@ericd1632 You are so very right!
End of 2021 I’m getting a 2016 eco boost. I have a budget and it’s the best value for my budget. If I had an unlimited amount of money sure but MPG & insurance plus other factors of living this is my pick
That color is beautiful!
The eb is 28k for the base model
Thanks for the details joe, amazing video as always!
You are so very welcome! I appreciate your support!
I have a 2919 EcoBoost premium with the digital screen..love this car..faster than what u think, really quick, smooth shifts and ride..cruise control is great, speed is better than I thought..cruised at 105mph on the interstate with no issues..gas mileage is great..very comfortable with the leather seats..sport plus mode is really fast..not gt but really quick..handles like a dream..corners amazing..love it
I have the same car and a guy at my job thinks his practically stock 92 Camaro would take my car... I just laugh at him...
Only thing wrong with the 2019 is that the 2020 base mustangs will have ford connect standard
Very good point!
310 hp and 4.7 and 0 to 60 ain't bad at all!
I totally agree with you!
I thought the gt got 4.6 0-60. WTH
@@imanmashayekh102 Ecobeast my brotha...that's y lol
iman mashayekh the Ecoboost got mad good torque
Love your channel im going back and forth between 2019 Buick Cascada and 2019 Mustang Ecoboost .. have watched both your reviews numerous times .. lol
IDK Mr. Joe, I cant get past a mustang sounding like a tuner. Its nice but it just aint right lol.
I totally understand where you are coming from!
And they don't sound like a tuner, but you do know it is a turbo 4. No fart can sound. Not as raspy as the video sounds more bass sounding
I rented one of these and was super impressed, handled well, quick off the line, cloth seats are super comfy
Raiti's Rides logo over the speedo lolol. Upsetting that we have to redact that from the vid for liability's sake, but this is the world we live in...
Douglas Churaman so very true!
Base Ecoboost with the performance pack/6 sod manual comes in at 29 grand. Better suspension, gears, etc. For that price it’s a good deal. For 38 grand though, I’d be looking at a GT.
Skip the Performance pack, get a 101A auto or 6spd and it's a great daily driver and cheaper to maintain
I test drove a 2018 Eco 46k miles with the automatic gear box I put that bitch on sport hit 100mph+ and that shit was under powered AF
Hard to get behind a mustang that isn't a 6 speed manual. Otherwise,, even though it isn't a V8 it's still pretty lit.
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I really appreciate it!
The 10 speed wakes up the car. 0 to 60 in 4.76 seconds in a 4cyl turbo... 5 years ago 5.0s could barely do that.
@@TheDustyaman interesting. i was looking at 5.0 but kinda thinking eco to be honest. not sure. i'm more a daily driver than a racer.
Just bought this car and I love it. But I do wish I would have got the premium model instead
There is always the next one! ;-)
Thanks Joe.
Yes Joe a Taurus SHO would be dope!! Also a Fusion Sport!!
This sounds better than an RS imo
@@ericd1632 Yeah I suppose so
Get a fusion sport like I did
I rented a 2016 Mustang EcoBoost Premium convertible a few years ago for a drive from NC to NJ and back.
And the 2018 up with the 10spd auto are even faster and better on fuel
@@louism8217 makes it harder to decide between GT and Ecoboost.
I totally agree with you! Thanks for sharing that input from your ownership.
I just bought a 2019 convertible. I live in Florida and love the thing. Although I’m coming from a 2011 Hyundai Accent 😂 it was affordable for me
