So besides my response to Bryan, I have to ask: why would you put all those lights on a CAR that’s meant for roads not “trails and off roading”, esp when you’re running street tires and it’s not even lifted like an SUV or truck? so ultimately im curious: how much flack did you get for having all those lights at your local car meet? how often were you called a ricer? 😂
Not exactly. You’re actually referring to hood flash which is common for Jeeps, Toyotas, etc actual off road vehicles but putting them on his version of an A-pillar puts light in the line of sight which helps break the dust, snow and other elements that make night driving easier. The one thing he did right was project the lighting outward but my only issue (besides not being an actual off road vehicle needing that much lighting) is that those kind of lights are good for slow speeds which on long dirt roads, esp since the vehicle is not meant for 4WD like those meant for that driving, as a Jeeper of 20yrs, you only drive 5-30mph on rough terrain bc of not knowing the obstacles ahead, esp at night. So again, too many lights for a daily wagon not an SUV that would need, correction, use a light bar, a-pillars and such.

I think it will be better to place it on the front of your car since some of the lighting is lost on the lid of your car!
