I'm kind of amazed how many lucky shots were here. Don't get me wrong, Master Ninja is the ultimate challenge and it's so difficult that I doubt that the 0.01% of people that ever got to try it finished it (I'm stuck in VH since I'm 10 years old), but seriously Murai got hit so easily? I mean, in Mission mode in MN he just dodges everything and I don't do that much damage, even with a weapon lvl 2. But kudos to you, you accomplished what I've been dreaming for since I was a kid. GJ.
Haha Chapter 1 and 2 are actually pretty tough. I died quite a few times on every difficulty at the start. Once you get past Chapter 3 you start getting a lot more options and it's more of an open map so you can just run around practicing against respawning enemies.
The dragon sword has the most combo's. It does not do the most damage. Its a balanced medium weapon were its only benfits are its range and crowd control
@Path Finder Neither did i with my first playthrought. Not just crowd control, but insane damage to bosses, plus hyper armor. Its what you wanna do to alma, Doku spirit doku, Fiend Murai. Crab fiends. Most things. Check out joe0button's boss guide vids or just gameplay to see how effective it is
My favorite game growing up, the bosses and sword ere so amazing and this game was ahead of it's time. Amazing, the graphics were so much better then anything at the time too.
This is one of my biggest accomplishments back in the day of beating very hard difficulty. Intried to beat master ninja back then but i couldnt do it. Though i beat all the ninja gaiden black challenges on normal. The last mission was hella freaking hard.
Gamov’s death becomes more pathetic when you realize that this guy was the younger brother of a guy on Ryu’s level and failed to predict the world’s most obvious betrayal.
God damn, as if this game wasn't hard enough. I got this when it came out on the original Xbox and managed to beat it, but all the additions on this version especially the first Alma encounter, fuck. I'm impressed with your skills.
They are not as hard as everyone says. You just need to learn to spam certain moves like the roll and jump, Flying Swallow, Inzuna Drop (whatever it's called it's been years since I played), the running wall backflip attack, and the charge up combos where you suck in the yellow and blue orbs. All these maneuvers render you virtually invincible until the animation is complete. It's very beatable even on Master Ninja once you know which of these moves to use in any given situation.
Tomn8er I guess, but they just seem like too much work. I cant beat any of these games on normal difficulty. I believe what you say, but still it's much easier said than done

First - thanks for this delicious video! Second - if there will be a Ninja Gaiden 4, they should let Rachel shine again and bring back those CGI movies.
Masterpiece never be another one like this
Nostalgia. Talk about this game being the hardest, for the whole week struggling where am i supposed to go, i almost lost interest in the game and then wandering here there somehow it jumped off the wall and boy...did it unlock the entire world of entertainment. Fun, pain, suffering and great storlyline...it was my all times fav game with so many stages to conquer. WoW...grrst memories.
I just replayed this game recently and I have to say you are freaking AMAZING!! 🙌
The hardest boss in this game is the camera xd
NG04's was even worse - you only had first person mode.
Back when i was a kid, i remember playing this game, and iam stuck fighting alma on her first phase, sad i couldnt finish the game.
I’m 30 and this is the og.no first play through comes close.
I hope if team ninja will remake this game on high end graphic, it will be superior game.
Faisal Alzahmi mmmm in fact the remake of the first ninja gaiden is the one of PsVita Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 🎮
They are working on nioh 2 right now so it is unlikely but they might do something Ninja Gaiden like after
I remember crying like a little bitch when I couldn't defeat Alma on her first appearance.... But then again I was a dumb 12 year old back then. Ninja Gaiden was the first game that gave me an ass whooping! It's still one of my favorites
10 years ago i play it 50+ times i never forget it!
Ain't nothing more aggravating than having to fight them pesky ass ninjas while trying to fight the bosses
You are amazing at this game. But... your final fight vs murai was absolutely terrible. You taught me some new tricks against other bosses though. Subbed
Headphones z you think so? I feel like he had room to mess up. He just took whatever chance he had to strike because he had so many talismans. He knew he was goin to win so he didn’t care if it was sloppy.
This dude is complete and utter ass. I've seen no damage runs on this game. Clearly you can fuck up a lot and still win. This guy won a lot of fights by the skin of his teeth.
@@jamesrussell9124 ‘complete and utter ass?’ Wow, lol. Thousands of comments I’ve seen act as if it’s rare to even so much as get through this game. He did. What am I missing here?
The nostalgia.... :,)
Back when i had my vita 2010 my first game was ninja gaiden 1 and I'm glad i have experience all the boss fights upto master ninja.
Alma is the baddest boss of any game to this day! She is so much fun to fight against!
I remember getting stuck on the last boss because I didn't gear up properly..Gonna revisit it now that the Master Collection is out..😵💫
The best action game ever made, for me.
Not for you, for me too and millions of people. What you said is a FACT OF LIFE!
Can still remember passing the Xbox controller around my group of friends. Good times
This game remains to be super badass! I love it :)
I can't remember most of this game but it is a great game from what I can remember just never got to beat it.
In the end, who would think that the Wooden Blade was the strongest weapon in entire game.
GJ.
Just started playing this again yesterday but still use the ninja dog modus..
Haha Chapter 1 and 2 are actually pretty tough. I died quite a few times on every difficulty at the start.
Once you get past Chapter 3 you start getting a lot more options and it's more of an open map so you can just run around practicing against respawning enemies.
The best wepon in the game is the Lunar Staff. Has the most combos, does the most damage and good for multiple enemies at once!
Surpassed only by Unlabored Flawlessness at low health.
Path Finder fully upgraded (8X) Wooden Sword. Very expensive
The dragon sword has the most combo's. It does not do the most damage. Its a balanced medium weapon were its only benfits are its range and crowd control
Path Finder The dragon sword has the best move in the game- the gleaming blade.
That intro is Legendary !
Nioh has the same formula just like Ninja Gaiden = First Hard-ass boss
46:50 omg I love this bossfight because of the bgm
The original "dark souls"
Even the Megaten franchise has harder games than Dark Souls.
Dark souls doesn't even compare lol
Still one of the best games ever made, oh and yeah still also one of the hardest games ever made...
Pissed me off as a kid when the ending cutscene showed that ryu could have teleported this whole time.
This is one of my biggest accomplishments back in the day of beating very hard difficulty. Intried to beat master ninja back then but i couldnt do it. Though i beat all the ninja gaiden black challenges on normal. The last mission was hella freaking hard.
This is the hardest game on the highest level you can get and it is so underrated
Still don’t understand why this is underrated even after the release of master collection 😭
Gamov’s death becomes more pathetic when you realize that this guy was the younger brother of a guy on Ryu’s level and failed to predict the world’s most obvious betrayal.
And theres people saying DS is hard...
But those are zoomers and normies who play too much Pokémon.
@@sephangelo4603 lol true
God damn, as if this game wasn't hard enough. I got this when it came out on the original Xbox and managed to beat it, but all the additions on this version especially the first Alma encounter, fuck. I'm impressed with your skills.
These games look so fun, but are WAY too hard. I tip my hat to the people man enough to get through these games cause they are tough as nails
Yeah Master ninja mode is insane
@@Tomn8er That... does not sound fun.
"tough as nails" and it ain't hard to tell...
ahhh nostalgic when i save in the save slot of my brother in master ninja difficulty with no potions and the stage where we fight alma
