Secret hidden special DIY GoPro mount!!!1!1!

- I walk you through making an extra mount from the packaging the GoPro came in. I make a magnetic mount out of it, but it can become whatever you want from it, so go make something new!
The only two supplies I used besides the original packaging the GoPro Hero5 came in was:
- Gorilla Glue clear epoxy
- .3" neodymium magnets

Hit it with some rubberized paint in a can after the epozied magnets, and it'll be scratch free. And arguably look professional.

I Can Probably Do That
That truck bed/tool handle coating stuff. Just love that on so many other projects. Apparently that tarry leak stopper one seen on the crappy infomercials is great as well...though I haven't yet tried it personally.
Much thanks again to you for the great idea on this otherwise unused mount. Save some bucks while minimizing waste. A winning killer idea all around, sir.

Nice! Much more impressive than my thought of using Velcro to put it on the dash of my car.
+Daniel Königs if you wanted, you could Velcro a small piece of steel to your dash and use the magnet mount on that!

+Shane Henderson they were 1/4" neodymium magnets I got from home depot. And like I mentioned in the video, you really need to epoxy them to a roughed up surface; I tried hot glue and they started popping off after the second or third use. Good luck!

Dude, that is pretty cool! I love the idea of attaching those magnets to the mount. Did you buy the magnets from a chain store? I've never seen them in the stores where I usually shop. Thanks! (I just read your comment about buying them from Home Depot. Cool. I know where I'm going tomorrow!)
Great video was thinking to do the same. Can i have it on my car when driving? Or do i need bigger magnets?
It would probably hold, but my concern would actually be making sure the epoxy holds against the wind. I think a mount specifically built for high speed and winds would be more dependable than one pieced together from packaging materials.
I watch video on time and I seen someone add bacon soda it supose to make the glue stronger

Not at that distance. I might have a more concern if they were bigger, but as they are, it's been fine.

Hello guys! I'm very reluctant on putting magnets near any computerized device!!! It ruins them on the long run!
