Alas, a once exquisite weeping wash tree in the quaint, pendleside village of sabden has succumbed to ash dieback disease, We explore the disease and how it symptomises in affected trees. a timelapse of the removal of the tree follows.

The Elms disappeared and now it’s the Ash. I’ve seen many Chestnuts with leaves that appear diseased.
