Tip: if you go into higher frontier defense difficulty, or are just have a hard time in general, arc traps can and will eventually be a wonderful tool to use; sentry turrets as well, as with anything though placement is key.

Arc traps will bunch up the enemy titans so you can get insane splash damage. They're great in choke points

Scorch is so op in frontier. Paired overcore with scorched earth and the core spam and dmg is wild when you get his aegis rank high enough to unlock the (thermite dmg contributes to core progress)

@@b-beale1931 On Master and Insane difficulty your anti-titan weapon runs out of ammo, so you need a grenade launcher of some sort to damage titans while yours is on cooldown. The SMR is probably the best out of the lot (since it was actually an anti-titan weapon in TF1).

I got a few tips for frontier defence if you want some
Definitely buy some shield boosts and use them when the shield is just about to die
Make sure someone runs to deal with mortar titans and reapers
And always use the mini map. It’s very helpful to tell when a teammate is dealing with an enemy. It helps make it so you’ve got an idea on where you need to be and let others deal with enemies. Idk how to explain it other than run where friendlies aren’t and don’t underestimate smaller threats
