  • Where is Andorra and is it worth a day trip from Barcelona? Andorra is a small country in the Pyrenees mountains bordered by France and Spain. The country Andorra doesn't have an airport or a train station so you can only visit it by either driving or by a bus. Andorra is famous for shopping, hiking, and skiing.
    I haven't heard of the country Andorra before I started doing my European Tour so I was excited to visit Andorra. I took a 3 1/2 hours bus-ride (one-way) for a day trip to the country Andorra from Barcelona. Check out the video to see if it's worth the trouble :)

    Great taking in the atmosphere of Andorra and, as you say, it's very much a duty-free shopping hub. A lovely location there nestled in the middle of the Pyrenees. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I believe you are based in the UK. I'm British but have lived in Istanbul for many years. Turkey is well worth exploring, although only a small part is in Europe and the most interesting places are on the Asian side of the country (Anatolia as they say here.) Kitakits in Turkish is Görüşürüz. 🤗

    Thank you for sharing this informative video. I have a question about passport stamping at the border. Do they stamp at the border? I'm concerned because my passport is running low on pages.

    • @RyanPelle
      @RyanPelle  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No worries. I’m pretty sure they stamped on your passport. Having said that, I’ve just checked my passport and I couldn’t find any stamp from Andorra, which is weird. I would go in with the assumption that they stamp on your passport though as it’s too much of a hassle to go that far and not being admitted in…

    Hey Ryan, One question. Do we need to reserve our seats on the buses to andorra..??

    • @RyanPelle
      @RyanPelle  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello - I’ve booked my ticket in advance but there was no seat reservation. The bus was also not full that time so you can sit anywhere. I suggest booking it in advance though just for peace of mind. The bus name is Alsa. Have fun. 🤩

    Planning to visit from Barcelona. Where can we buy bus tickets and for how much?

    • @RyanPelle
      @RyanPelle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would recommend buying the tickets in advance as they normally have discounts. They sell tickets a month in advance (if I’m not mistaken). Get it from alsa.com. The bus leaves from Barcelona Estacion Nord. It cost around €30. Have fun :)

      Oo direct yung bus from Barcelona. Around 25 euros return, if I remember right. Book mo siya in advance sa alsa.com para mas mura. May stop over once ata yun for bathroom break. Enjoy the trip and thanks sa sub :)

    What do spanish immigration ask for? Do you tell them your going to andorra?

    • @RyanPelle
      @RyanPelle  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      When I landed in Barcelona, I only told the immigration I was there as a tourist. Then when I took the bus to Andorra the immigration in Andorra didn’t ask anything.
