Thank you for this thorough review! I was expecting something exactly like this. 🙂 The assembly, all the features are shown, even the comparison to your Panasonic generic fan is nice. 👍 BTW... that Pana must be a fine established item, as still working... 😎And yes, the common fans can be more stronger, more direct, but at some point that is their disadvantage comparing to the tower fans. As they are way louder, and the air flow is more direct. If you sleep on your bed without using a blanket, cause there is strong heat in your room, the common fan to its direct air flow can result easily that you got cold. A quality tower fan, set to the lowes speed (my Trotec runs at the lowest speed in the "sleep/night" mode) and using the rotation function can help to cool you down in a "milder" way. As its airwave is not a narrow, direct "beam" form, but a wide "ribbon"-like shape instead. (If you know what I mean.) Long story short... my tower fan helped me survive this summer, where we had extreme heat in Hungary, and my room had ~30-31 Celsius temperature during the nights. (Unfortunately our house has no airconditioner yet.) As there is a nice summer sale at the local Philips store, I'm thinking of buying one of these. Your review helped me a lot in my decision. ☺
Thanks for watching! We now have split air conditioning in all our rooms. I wish I can do a video on it as it is a game changer. We have Solar and house batteries so it is a no brainer. The Phillips helped us through a difficult summer but now it is Mitsubishi Heavy Industry turn.
It's nice how they used binary to show timer. Saw someone throwing box from it into trash and wondered what is this. And sure, there are people that review it😮
The night mode on this fan doesnt make any sense... its louder than the lowest settings and even that is still too loud for sleeping... guess we gonna return it
Excuse me, have you realized it works in a way, that it reduces its speed slowly, from whatever setting to minimum within 30 minutes, if you use "sleep mode"? So you won't get the lowest speed (and the silence) immediately, but after 30 minutes...
@@SoldierOfSunrise Yes we figured that out later on... We were just expecting a "silence" mode, like it used to be on our old fan... nvm, we have returned it and bought a different one...
In our bedroom running at night, love it but since we have a small loft room we have to put it on a table which become too tall 😌 lucky there is a remote as we can reach to top for the buttons 👍
@sebastianwings4664 got us through last summer, sold it yesterday to a very happy local viewer as we have air con installed. I think it is good for a big room, if small room or close to the bed I would get a smaller fan as I have tested another one recently and it is a fraction smaller but a lot quieter.
@@BCreviews excuse me, where can we find that review? I used search in your channel's videos, but was not able to fine... Could you please share the link?
Great review, thank you. I bought one.

Thanks for watching, this is now a permanent fixture in our loft bedroom which can get incredibility hot in the summer.
Good review, thank you
I just got mine. I’m wondering if there is a way to turn the *beep* sound off, do you happen to know? Great review
How cool is the air blowing out?
Since this is just a fan with no cooling element air will be same as intake room temperature
i wonder where you get the Pensonic fan. if not mistaken it is a Malaysian brand.
Our parents fly over with it many years ago when they visit us in London 😬
@@BCreviews great review~ very well comparison.
Thanks for the great review!

Heater feature available?
Fan only, there is no heating element built in
@@BCreviewsthanks for the response
Hi. this tower fan can clean inside ?
can take out that blade inside or cannot
I don’t think this is designed to be taken apart, I usually clean it by using my compressor and air gun .
Aroma dont work for me. How bout you?
Only a hint of aroma , pretty mid compared to with our room diffuser which chuck out vapours.
How is it now?
In our bedroom running at night, love it but since we have a small loft room we have to put it on a table which become too tall 😌 lucky there is a remote as we can reach to top for the buttons 👍
@@BCreviews ordered one from amazon as well. Hope it will be oke. Thanks for the info 😁

Hello , is it cool enough, like atleast 40% of the AC
Can’t compare with AC, but we would not have survived the heat in our loft converted bedroom last summer 😂
Is it worth buying this Philips fan?
I am testing another tower fan from Levoit, not much in price difference so we will see about that :P
