@@MrBCWalker01 You know, I wouldn't mind if they just do it as three OVA movies like they did back then for the original series. Saves them the time from having to actually remake the entire TV show and make the animation even more impressive.
If you want that, don't pirate illegally and pay the price. they can't be made for free. The only people who pay properly for these anime are the only Japanese.

I mean, it's not an exact retelling, but Gundam The Origin is a pretty good start.
Watching the original series with Amuro and the White Base what got my attention was that no matter how many Zeon Mobile suits were thrown a the Gundam they couldn’t beat it. There was such a massive gap in technology between the federation and Zeon that one Gundam was enough to turn the tide of the war. I like that the franchise has always kept the Gundams to a handful instead of having huge numbers of them this is what makes them special and that’s why the franchise has endured so long and hopefully stays around for many more years.

@@AmadKaduna The Gelgoog is a good example of that, as it's stats are on par, if not superior to the Gundam, but by the time Zeon deployed them most of their veteran pilots had been killed.
Bruh no gundam wasnt what won the war, Its amuro dude is literally strongest fastest learning newtype in history. You had other ppl use gundam and they didnt turn tide of war. Zeon was superior until Amuro came
@@meteorknight999 The Federation would've won the war regardless of Amuro. The war was already stalemated before the Federation even fielded their mobile suits.
Make no mistake, Amuro massively shortened the war in the EFF favor, but the Federation Gundams and GMs (Especially after their teething issues were sorted out and beam weapons became common) would more than give Zeon a run for their money until at least the Gelgoog was deployed.
The EFF also had a massive technological and industrial base that far outdeveloped and outproduced Zeon, with the resources to back it up.
The Federation would've won the war through attrition, especially as the disparity in number of experienced pilots leveled out through combat and the better performance of the EFF suits started to bear it's fruits.
@@meteorknight999 Char was "supposedly" a much better pilot and experienced with the same Newtype abilities. He's "supposedly" unable to win due to the Gundam's much superior capabilities.
What won the war was the Earth Federation getting serious while Zeon began falling apart to infighting/greed plus their huge investments in failed technologically advanced suits/armor instead of mass production. It's meant to reflect how WW2 Germany failed. Superior at first with better tech and weapons/discipline versus an unprepared foe that is much larger then pushed back once that foe wakes up and gets serious mass producing inferior equipment.
In the end a few space colonies could not match the resources+industry of Earth. Which is completely expected.
That lightning bolt blocking that absolute once in a lifetime sniper shot was so sick..reminds me of when King Bradley fought Greed and the sunlight got in his eye at the last split second
scar, and especially the sun and moon representing god itself it’s like divine intervention how the eclipse caused his downfall

I especially love that scene whenever people insist that Thunderbolt is gritty realism with no magic.
Not that I have a problem with said magic, it's actually incredibly cool, but that's just what it is lol

The fact that Io was saved by sheer luck from the thunderbolt is so great. It shows both him and darly really are equals, regardless of machine or circumstance
個人的にはサンボルのフルアーマーガンダムやナラティブA型、デンドロビウムみたいに沢山の装備を付けた上で戦闘し、それを損壊又は弾切れした場合はパージしていきながら戦う絵面がすこなんだが分かってくれぇ…

Can't say I remember said teenagers having many qualms after a few episodes and they've certainly killed more people than Io lmao

オリジン系の作画とかめっちゃ嫌いって分けじゃないけどやっぱりサンボルの線の強弱があって力強い作画が好きだなー
作画コストエグそうだけどまたこの雰囲気で新しいアニメーションを見てみたい
制作スタジオがUCと同じ精鋭揃いの第1スタジオらしいから作画が化け物らしい
サンボルのアニメーションって品質めっちゃ高いよね
ロボットの戦闘シーンに、甘いラブソングやジャズが噛み合う事を教えてくれた名作です。早く地上編の完結や宇宙編の続編をみたいものです。
パイロットが変わるだけでこんな悪いガンダム感が出るんだなぁ、好き。

Funny thing is Io's pride fucked him over. If he had just blasted Daryl in his Zaku I while binned at the barrels of the twin Beam Rifle he woulda ended it right then and there. Instead he went for the beam saber and gave Daryl time to escape. = /

If you think about it just lik3 f1 drivers Io is a beast at piloting the fa gundam at those speeds especially his reflexes in combat. Its hard enough to drive fast in an empty road much less in traffic
Everytime new gundam series came out i would just imagine how would it be like if the OG gundam series got this level animation. Wing Zero, Deathscythe, Heavy Arm etc

I always prefer the series that make mobile suits just fighter planes with extra steps. A good veteran pilot in a decent MS should at least be able to get away from Char or Amuro or whomever the current freak in the most amazing MS is by using every trick in the book, not by being a better pilot. In fact, a squad of well-trained MS should be able to at least stalemate an Ace long enough for the squad to get away, and that should already be enough to show that the main character is a freak. You only need 5 victories to be an ace in real life, after all, it's *hard* to kill a another MS.

It was a grenade, in universe it is known as a 'cracker grenade', it also didn't scare the gundam but gave the Zaku 1 a chance to escape.
Its a grenade but it wont do anything to gundam it just peel the colour😂

@goji-0045 There are 2 FA Gundams in UC. The one he's probably referring to is the FA-78-1 Gundam, which is an MSV Mobile Suit that is the RX-78-2 Gundam with extra armour and weapons. The FA-78-1 Gundam was designed for "Long Range."
The FA-78 is the FA Gundam in Thunderbolt. However, the Thunderbolt timeline seems to take place in an alternate UC timeline
