The Blue Bay Shepherd is a breed currently in development to produce dogs that are lupine in appearance. They are named for their origin in Palm Bay, Florida and the blue German Shepherd Dogs, one of the breeds in their ancestry.
Blue Bay Shepherds are sweet, intelligent and engaging dogs. They are quite unique and striking with their light eyes and blue coats.

1st508th Airborne has a channel including one of these amazing blue bay shepherds but he’s developing a new breed called the Lycan shepherd give it a peep or perhaps a video on Lycan shepherd some day in the future.

I own an American Blue Bay Shepard. These are not wolf dog’s! They are the best companion dog. Extremely intelligent, full of personality. The Lycan is another favorite from 1st 508 we love them, and they are an off spring of a blue bay from papa Kurgan

Wow, beautiful!!!! I love the blue ones, but I almost got a white one from Viki. It was high content wolf, and I was afraid in my state, wolf dogs are banned. It is on my bucket list though. Thanks for sharing!!!

Actually the blue bays ancestors are the blue wolf dog, and old blue german shepherds old as in the breed of german shepherds without the sloped back before they started breeding them like that for dog shows

Wait. All my wolf dogs have 10% husky, 10% German shepherd, 10-15% mallamute & the rest Grey wolf. So does that mean mine are blue bay shepherds?
That dog is not part wolf, you can tell by their temperament. It's part weimaraner.

So, this is weird to me. If this is a good breeder I don't see why they would place a dog with someone who wants it for service work, when they should know that a dog with wolf in it can't be a service dog. I don't really know anything about the breeder but this just seems very strange to me.

Beautiful pup. Sadly since he has Wolf in his blood, he cant be a Service Animal.
Once again i have not seen ANY law stating that a dog with wolf in it's blood can not be a service dog. Czechoslovakian wolfdogs have been service dogs and they have wolf in their blood as well as in their name. I think where people get it mixed up is you cant have a service animal that is a wild animal. So a full blood wolf? No. A high percentage wolf? No. But a low percent wolf dog like a BBS or a CW doesn't have anything saying they can't be a service dog.

@lsaguilig FDA states that rabies vaccines are not tested to work in dogs with wolf content, and verified working of rabies vaccines is required for service dogs.
