My GSD puppy ate my calculator and my new shoes. I had him 17 years I miss him every day

I found Dr. Murphy's food but it was too late Max lived to 14 but the last year was not great.... expensive as hell but I think if we'd been giving him that early on the hips wouldn't have been so bad@@vinnyandrocky
Wow what a blessing, 17 years. Ours was 3 months shy of 14 years when she passed almost two years ago. We miss her terribly every day! 💔

When I retired a colleague at work gave me his German Shepherd Collie cross to look after during her final years. She was the sweetest creature imaginable.
Get a lot of chew toys and get ready for a lot of scratches and chew marks on your arms lol those little paws are like razors with those nails when they’re young .. take a lot of videos and enjoy they grow up fast greatest dog ever you’ll love it congrats!! man’s best friend

While I have yet to have a pure bred, I have had the fortune to rescue a golden retriever/German shepherd mix, he is turning 9 this year. He is very patient, protective, loyal, smart, and most importantly goofy. An amazing big brother to the other dogs in our pack.

Rocky is sooo adorable & smart. He's already learned to come when called. Am thinking of adopting a German Shepherd because of all their positive qualities. Best of health & happiness to Rocky & his new family. 🐾🐾

I will never forget the night i picked up my big boy from the airport at 12 weeks old. Gave him some dry kibble and he chucked it up all over my lap on the way home. I still love him haha

We have four German Shepherds in our home. You will have no better friends. However, they need three months with their mom. This baby is so sweet.
They truly are the best, they live there life loving you and trying to please you and watching out for things that they perseav as a threat to you. I wake up every morning to big doggy kisses by my two GSD.

I’ve adopted many rescues over the years: Golden, Collie, 3 Labs, Shepherd, 2 Pyrenees. They’ve all been wonderful in their own unique ways. But, tbh, my absolute favorites were the Labs.
I am 66, at my number 7, most lived to be 12-14 years, omne went to 16. Love the breed to death
So very cute!!! My GS is now 3 years old. If you have a great vet they will tell you not to fix GS to early wait till the age of two. They need those hormones to finish growing their joint plate. It shall with helps with get hip problems.

Such a treasure to have such a wonderful little puppy 💕.😍 Had three growing up that looked after me in the backyard while it was time to play and now I’ll finally have my own here soon, getting her for my daughter because she’s an only child rn. She could use a companion to grow up with! What a perfect opportunity.💝
I just lost my boy Maxx. My heart is broken. Thankfully i still have Rosebud next to me. GSDs complete our lives
Puppy’s are always so cute and innocent , I lost one of my beloved dogs in November , she came to me a little older than yours and she came from an abused home . It broke my heart when I had to make the decision that she was in pain and suffering and I had to put her to sleep . It still rips a piece of your soul when it happens and she was the 3rd one I had lost in 5 years , thankfully they all where loved and made it to 13,15,14 before they passed over the rainbow bridge. Cherish them in their younger years.❤
You are lucky to have three wonderful dogs and live that long. Wish mine can have the same.

My first GSD was a very long-haired shepherd who's name was Rocky. He was as gentle as can be, loved children and was fantastic around babies. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car, I have had 4 shepherds since and love the bread to Bits. They are not for everyone but they are in my opinion the best all-round dog.
These dogs are 100 percent loyal, they are the 1%'s of the canine world. True, your brother/sister and mate. With bark and grunt.
I second this. The feeling is mutual. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my four legged best friend.

I'm a dog lover overall for sure, but I don't believe I could love one specific breed more than the GS. I have a personal history with one in particular that is too painful to go into here, but I just think they are majestic in many ways. One in particular is that they are among the top three favorites of police K-9s. They are also very protective of their human families and make great indoor guard dogs. Also, they tend to be very protective and nurturing of human newborns. I❤❤ German Shepherds!!!

What a precious little soul! GSD's has been our breed for many years now. Presently have 3; and 3 before that. One lived to 16. Love all of them and miss the ones that have passed. Best of luck for a long life with Rocky. We will be watching.

I remember when Oscar, my romanian shepard mix, was still a puppy. My right arm usually looked like shark attack 😂😂😂. Nowadays he still likes to take my arm in his fangs but licks and sucks to show me his affection. No beings are as great as dogs! 😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I love the Shepard dogs, my black pure bred German Shepard passed away two yrs ago in May from degenerative myelopathy. We now have a 1yr 6 month old German Shepard/husky male mix and 1yr old female German Shepard belgian malinois. We love them both dearly.

He is absolutely gorgeous and looks exactly like ny Sheherds looked like, when they were small and I still miss them, They were absolutely wonderful,they protected my children and myself.Thank you for sharing! Unfortunately I have no videos,only pictures and one film.
Their puppy stage is rather short, I miss it too.☹
Luv shepherds…this guy reminds me of the doggy love of my life when he was a pup…so wonderfully cute! I’ll always love GSD’s but now I need to downsize to a medium sized dog. These dogs are so very powerful…..I hope you have a long and wonderful time with him!😊❤

My favorite breed and I have had many. You understand the importance of establishing training from day one..I am too old now to have one and i miss them every single day. Rocky looks like my Studs and he had many types of training for the first half of his life and he both loved and excelled at all of it. These dogs must have exercise and lots of it. We bred him to a Black Bitch and took one of his daughters; same training sequences. Rocky looks like he comes from Germany with his build not the American type of German Shephard. My dogs came from Germany also.. I prefer them to the American Shephard's and they do not g et the Hip problems as much as American Shephard's do. Both are super intelligent breeds I just personally prefer the ones coming from Germany or Europe. The German or European Shephard's are shorter and stockier with shorter, stockier legs.. So happy I stumbled upon you and adorable Rocky.. He is absolutely handsome and will lighten up a bit with age.. Will continue to watch for you both....
Yes, German Shepherd enjoy training and learning new stuff. Wish I can spend more training time with him. His favorite is to pick up rocks and sticks during backpacking trips. He also get excited whenever I touch my camera, LOL.

Man I miss my German Shepherd so much, he passed away due to over dose of Anastasia by the vet in oct 2021 at 4 years of age.
OM, how can it happened? I'll be crazy if it happen to my dog.😱
@@vinnyandrocky GSD had ear yeast infection because he was aggressive one to strangers he didn’t let vet touch him, so vet suggested to bring GSD every other day to clean his ears and give him Anastasia.

Now that your Rocky is almost a year old, he's beautiful, I did notice one thing that I really don't like, never let your pups or adult dogs play or chew on sticks. I've seen dogs injured and abscesses in they're gums.
