They were adopted TOGETHER! I checked on Rocky's website and started crying; these dogs get to live out the rest of their lives in their forever home together.❤🩹
I am going on 78, and I only adopt senior dogs now! I lost two seniors last year to heart disease, but I gave them the best of their time left! After two weeks of no dog I was ready to adopt again, and went to Taffy’s Senior Rescue in Indiana and now have a 10 yr old Maltese Mix who had been found on the streets, and turned in! It sometimes is heartbreaking adopting seniors, but so rewarding! I figure since I am a senior I will give senior dogs a happy life filled with love as long as they have! I have adopted since the 70s, and that is the only way I get a dog! So many need homes. Thanks for allowing me to share! ❤. Let me add since I am older I have made plans in case something happened to me…I plan on staying healthy but since older my son agreed to take Rivy if that was ever needed! I felt it important not to just hope she was safe! 🐶❤️
I have a German Shepherd and he craves attention...If I go outside and just sit on the 'petting chair' he will leave where ever he is and come rest his head on my knees to be petted...Sometimes I would ignore him then he would put his paw on my knee...'Hey bro we need some loving here'...
The shelter in my city has short-term foster care homes so people don't lose their pets - if someone needs to go into rehab after surgery, in the hospital, or need to find a new home, etc. It's a really wonderful thing.
I do that. I’ve fostered numerous senior dogs. Senior fosters are nice. They have fewer behaviour issues and the turnover is slower. Young dogs and pups can come and go in weeks. There’s more health problems, medications, vet care with seniors, mind you, but the agency covers the cost of that.
As a foster for kittens, and I know my Rescue takes dogs too, why can't both dogs be put together in a foster home? I feel like that would definitely be the best thing in the world for both of them.
Our last dog was a senior dog whose owner went into hospice care. We took the dog and got him caught up on vet and grooming but we also allowed the former owner to have visits with him. It's what I hope someone would do for me if I could no longer care for my buddy. Our current dog loves her Sundays! We are happy to buy from a company that helps shelter dogs.
I adopted a 9 year 0ld Malamute several years ago from a kennel that used her for breeding and never was let out of the kennels. We had her for 4 years and she was able to live in the house and go hiking and be our baby she was the sweetiest dog. It's worth it to adopt older dogs
Old dogs are such great company - even if you weren't the one they spent most of their life with. They're seasoned. They've got more of a psychological depth - their reactions are less reactionary, and more thoughtful, even though they're animals. My old cat, by the time he hit age 18, was DEFINITELY as smart as a toddler. He was so impressive, heh.
My malamute dog came to an animal shelter in Croatia when she was 10 years old. Because of me, she didn't have to stay there long because I was looking for an older dog. I knew that this old dog had to get out of there. She then came to live with me in Germany and has been living with me for 3 years now. She is wonderful and I love her more than anything ❤️🐺
That’s wonderful. Really wonderful that you gave her a home. I recently lost my elderly fur baby, Sherman. He wasn’t a beautiful malamute, he was a handsome staffie. He was 15, and cancer got him. It’s been a week now, I’m still so sad. I wish I could adopt this girl, but I’m in Australia. A little too far. Enjoy your beautiful fur baby. ❤
@pommiebears I'm so sorry for your loss 😢! Wow, 15 years, that's great! Sherman is now in the doggy heaven,no pain, just joy to play with all these other dogs who passed. I know exactly your pain and sadness because my first dog, a Golden Retriever, died in 2019 because of cancer. 😔😭 Thank you for your kind words 🙏! Sending you a big hug to Australia 🇦🇺 🤗
I’m so glad Misty and Ash are reunited Rocky, it’s so heartwarming to reunite with your brother sister and other relatives isn’t it. Bless you and your team for helping them reunite.
We are now senior dog adopters only. We got 2 dog, both 9 yrs old, their owner was losing his battle with cancer & paid the shelter to make sure they would be placed together. They are amazing, we lost one of them, it'll be two years this June, she was nearly 17. We still have her buddy. He's 18 now. And we promised him we will let him be an only dog so he doesn't have to worry about being picked on or displaced. We just spoil him and luckily we are home 24/7 so he is totally pampered. We're just grateful to still have him. We know we will adopt pairs going forward, & absolutely senior dogs. They are just wonderful. 😊❤
I agree, it’s the least I can do . I love huskys, malamutes, they give back 180%, I used to only have small dogs, I was Blessed to meet our big girls and fell in love with them.
I would be the first to attest that adopting senior dogs is an awesome idea! The last four dogs I have adopted were senior rescues and even though they don’t live as long as younger pups it is so rewarding and they stole our hearts and made us so happy we were making their last years good in a loving home!
Me, too. I’ve adopted 9 seniors in my life. I have three right now. I’m getting older, too, so I think my days are numbered on adopting. It continues to be a blessing for me everyday, and I’ve loved the foster-faces so much. I would not change a thing.
Seniors “mature” dogs (or pets) are the most wonderful type of adoption one can experience… We have adopted a few and were the most gratifying, easy and loving companions EVER! Try it and you will not regret it. They 🐾 🐾 only need a soft landing and will steal your heart ❤️
Your a hero!!! After my elderly dad's dog died of old age. I got him a senior dog with the promise I would take her after my dad passed. Our vet was so pleased because she was sickened by people getting puppies when they won't be around for them. Our pets will be in our will.
To Sundays, the sponsor of the video... Thank you for agreeing to supply food for both dogs. That is so very nice of you. Bless y'all. I was trying not to tear up. Hearing what you agreed to pushed me over the edge. I'm not even regretful about it.
I am so concerned that so many huskies and malamutes are being left on the streets or turned into shelters. It breaks my heart! Thank you for all you do❤️
Since their owner was evicted, they are likely to have been wanted and cared about until they no longer had a living space. They are very smart dogs, in general, and generally good natured in my e experience. I feel sad for the owner, whose life has been broken.
Malamutes are stubborn and are generally a one person dog. Don't get me wrong, they love the family but there is one person they completely connect with. I love the breed, they can be clown like and they have a great sense of the absurd.
@@giftofthewild6665 We don't know the situation. It's possible the owner was disabled or sick or depressed. They might have been neglected, but it doesn't necessarily mean the owner didn't love and care for them.
I find it hard to watch all those poor dogs abandoned in a box in a shelter, it’s so sad, I wish I could adopt them all. Thanks for giving them a bit of temporary comfort.
Poor sweet baby, her eyes are so expressive. She really is beautiful. Their eyes always give me a powerful feeling that we are all family, that we should see animals the same as we see different human races, in that all lifeforms are related to a single family; we are expressed in many forms, but we are the Earth family. That you treat them with such empathy and compassion, and speak their language, it's really moving to see.
Hey Rocky, I had the pleasure of meeting an Alaskian Malamute, he is a shelter dog. Mardy is his name he knows me now. I'm a crossing guard. When I call his name and he lets me pet him. He is so beautiful. cream color 5 months. I hope the owner can get them back or they get adopted together. The trainer tells me when he sees the vest he looks for me. They are so smart. Thanks for all you do.I'm in Toronto Canada🥰
I have had a malamute and you are right when you say they're too smart for their own good. She was the best dog. We went hiking almost every day. People were always shocked to find out how old she was, because she was so fit and energetic. She was 95lbs and still lived to be 14.
After volunteering in a shelter and seeing senior dogs brought in because owner had died, I decided to adopt senior animals. I adopted two mini dachshunds almost two years ago. One was 16, the other 17. The 16 yr old passed away a few months after I took them in, kidney disease. The older one is 19 now, deaf, partially blind, and beginning to have a little trouble getting around. If I’m gone for awhile he is so happy to see me return. I think he’s still afraid of losing his person. Please adopt a senior if you can! Give them a loving home for their last years.
I adopted a 14 year old dachshund last April who’s owner had dementia he needed to get neutered have all his teeth removed and had to house break him. He turned 15 in August and is going strong. I love senior dogs Gus is my 6 senior dachshund
@@spc6506 Aren’t they great dogs? I’d never had a dachshund before my two seniors. Even tho he’s a little slow getting around, he always has the energy to do a little dance when I return home from an errand.
I end up crying with every video. I wish everyone was as loving towards animals as you are. Thank you so much for what you do and for modeling that to the TH-cam community.
We adopted a senior husky/collie that was returned to the shelter 3 times. He was a runner and the most beautiful dog i have ever seen. We put in a fence and started with 3 walks a day. He lived like a king until he passed and never ran away. He was an absolute amazing dog! RIP Toby, I miss you!
When Rocky said "even though you are caked in a film of oil, I'm so lucky to be petting you", my heart felt that. I was just floored by the statement. Such amazing love and care for these animals. Rocky is the literal best.
@@rockykanaka I'm the same way! I hate dirty/oil hands and wash them often, but when it comes to animals, suddenly all bets are off. If it means to love on one and care for it, I will pet it all day, no matter what. ❤So worth it.
I was ready to adopt them both but I'm in Texas. So happy to hear that they have been adopted together. Thank you Rocky for all you do for these precious dogs!!
These poor babies have no idea why theyre in this situation, and they dont deserve it! Thank you, Rocky, for trying to break through their fear, and reassure them that it ISNT their fault, and it WILL get better!! We love those two little furbabies, and want them to get the love and care they deserve to have. Thank you to Sundays, for subsidizing their care!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I like that the shelter gave permission to let Misty and Ash siblings be together to help reduce stress. They are confused. I hope they get back into a loving home. Thanks to Sundays and you. I hope that you can go sit with the crying dog as well.❤
Oh, I'm so glad to see this comment... I wondered if that would be an option. My heart is breaking for her and her brother... I don't think I can't watch the rest of the vid. 😭
@@homesweetesthome1726 I know, I can't watch many of the rescue video's the ones I watch I forward to the end to see them all better, I can't stand to see them suffer.
I hope they can be adopted together if they can't return to their owner. I'm sure it would be far less stressful for them both if they have that to reassure them.
I really appreciate how you try to explain circumstances with compassion. Many viewers assume all dogs are abused not knowing that an owner may have died, been evicted, or in the two cases I've seen, families ripped apart by divorce with no homes or money to care for animals. Viewers typically hate on humans, in general, and it's very mean and ignorant. You are truly compassionate and passionate.🙏🏻👏🏼💕
I agree...there are MANY reasons that pets can be homeless...financial issues is definitely troubling for may seniors as they age, and their pets age. It's heart breaking, but other ppl could potentially help a senior out by donating towards food or vet bills so they can keep their pets.
Agreed! My neighbour developed a serious heart condition and was no longer able to walk, or care for adequately, his dog. Luckily, he had family who were able to take the dog but unfortunately the lived several hours drive away. He misses his dog so much but he knows it is being well looked after and has a much better life than he was able to give it as it was still quite young when he became ill. If he hadn't of had family, he would have had to give his dog up, which he feels would have been harder because this way, he still gets regular updates and even the occasional visit!
It’s true that there are many reasons and we shouldn’t assume any, but saying that it’s “ignorant” to “hate on” humans, the worst thing to ever happen to the planet, is ridiculous.
Some dogs, especially smart dogs, will worry their paws when they are bored or anxious. When we got our lab, her paws were bare and sore from the constant licking during her previous living situation. We tried to give her enough to do to get her mind off of licking, but eventually had to keep her front paws bandaged with that stretchy colorful gauze that sticks to itself until she healed and had grown back her fur. After that, we kept her engaged and active. Lots of walks, play, and love. She never licked herself sore again.
Her paws look like she was pushing under a gate or a fence... Sweetie pie. Oh, and so does her brother's nose... I wish them both the best. Misty and Ash 💕
I believe those are lick granulomas (spelling?). I had a border collie mix that did this to her paws when she got stressed and they were just like that on both front paws. When my dog wasn't exercised regularly, due to weather, or we had to be gone from home due to work, more than usual, she would lick her paws raw. I can see where a shelter dog would do the same thing to itself.
I think that the crying baby is aching for human love and attention because that dog can smell, and hear Rocky giving love, and attention to the Malamute dog from the other side of the kennel. Poor lonely baby! I wish Rocky and his team did something for that crying baby.
I had 3 pure breed malamutes from birth. The oldest one became almost 15 years old. His female starved herself to death 2 months later from broken heart. That's how strong their bond is. You can image how we tried to feed her, from steaks, vetenarian treatment to spirit healing - everything. She just gave herself up.
That's how I feel. The love of my life was killed last August in a motorcycle accident and ever since life just isn't the same. I feel like I'm a walking zombie. I so relate to his female. My heart is shattered and I'm sure hers was as well.
She is gorgeous! It must be frightening for them hearing all the others crying and being so powerless. Its too bad the siblings can't be put together it would probably be a comfort for them.
The world needs more people like you. With all my heart I hope Misty and Ash are reunited with their family or adopted, together, by a new loving one. They look so sad. They deserve all the best life has to offer. I'm glad their path met yours. It's comforting and reassuring. Take care. And thank you. Hugs and kisses to them both. They are so sweet.
Thank you for sharing the story of dogs in shelters. The way you nurture and comfort each dog is brilliant! Justice and compassion for non humans matters! Patti
Rocky simply put you are a fantastic human being. You really are a real life Dr. Doolittle 😇😇😇what you do to quel these unsettled animals issues is nothing short of miraculous. May you have an amazing week helping other animals. Much love and utmost respect from East Anglia UK 💯👍🙏😊❤️🤗
Oh Rocky, when you talk really sweet, and tell them (her), "you're a good girl", or "it's not your fault"...omg, that brings chills and tears. Watching you makes my heart happy. You are an angel on earth for our furbaby friends. God bless you! ❤
She had so much sadness in her eyes. When you are giving her treats, it’s comforting her. Just like when a woman is crying, someone hands her chocolate, it’s comforting, just doesn’t take a pain away.
We adopted a 10 year old sheltie who lived to almost 16 years. She quickly adjusted to our home and our dogs and it wasn't long before she was "our" dog and was playing with our other 2 dogs. She was the best dog. We still miss her, she became part of our heart.
Oh, THANK YOU “Sundays for Dogs” for donating your incredible dog food to feed both these beautiful brother and sister malamutes for an ENTIRE year! “SUNDAYS FOR DOGS” does such WONDERFUL things to help shelters and animals in need! ❤❤❤❤
I always have a soft spot for the older dogs and know they don’t get adopted as much. My next rescue I am determined will be an older dog whose life got turned upside down when they were suddenly homeless. Thank you for taking time with this sweetheart ❤
These senior dogs in shelter just break my heart. In another life and time, I would have a senior dog sanctuary. Even if their lives may be complicated and short, one day of love would make life-lasting memories of being loved.😢❤
***Rocky, PLEASE, check on that sweet pup that was crying so much!***🙏🙏🙏 Misty and Ash are so sweet and beautiful! I would adopt them together if I lived close to you! I love older dogs. They're so calm and often a little too well trained, imho, because I love my dogs to sit on the bed or sofa with me, and sometimes they weren't allowed to in their previous homes, so I have to show them.:) And like you said, there is plenty more dog left in a senior! They're so worth it, and they will be grateful to you for the rest of their lives. Thank you, Rocky, and Sundays...for all that you do for these precious animals!!♥♥♥
It sounded like there was other staff there. I don’t think we could hope for better for these pups… they’re in the best possible place, until they hopefully get adopted. I’m guessing you volunteer locally, as you’re clearly super empathic with animals.
@@xyz12345457 No, I'm sure somebody saw to the dog that was crying. There's more people there, and they probably stay away when they're filming. No worries.
Please, contact them and tell them that you want the 2 dogs and ask them if there is a way of having the dogs transported over to you. Maybe there is a way of having the dogs sent over to your house! You never know until you ask.
Beautiful. My malamute is 10 we adopted him from a friend who couldn't take him to California. We live in Montana and they are amazing dogs. He pulls my kid's on a old fashioned sled with a leather harness and he loves having a job. God bless these places and people who care so much. Dogs truly enrich our lives . With patience and lots of love these dogs can live happy lives and bring happiness and purpose to families.
Dogs really are smart - my cousins always had malamutes and shelties -- they knew what the kids were doing, were able to alert parents to potential dangers, and one even rescued a kid who had walked into the middle of the street! Their protective instincts are amazing.
I was recently evicted and had to give away my four cats that I bottle fed and had for 5 years. I'm disabled and no longer had the money to take care of them. I'm heartbroken and cry everyday. Although I feel bad for their owner watching the sadness in their eyes is killing me! Sending all my love and prayers for a quick successful adoption for them both.
So sorry you had to go through this......having to give up pets that you love is heartbreaking and hard to live with....I wish both you and them every success and blessings of abundance for the future.
Thank you all for your kind words. I'm currently staying with my sister. Heartwarming to see there are still caring people in this world Blessings to all
Rocky is so sweet with these dogs, it kills me to see them so mistreated or just because their owners get them taken from them for other reasons to have to be there in a shelter in the first place. Thank you @RockyKanaka for helping these dogs to feel loved and safe. Love watching from Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK 🇬🇧 ❤
They are beautiful dogs. It was endearing watching them together. The sister obviously has missed her brother. I hope they find a loving forever home, hopefully together.
The love of my life was a Malamute called Tyler (Foxfire's Diamond in the Rough). He was a show dog who ended up with hip problems and we got him as a rescue before rescues were even a thing. As a child, I played with him nonstop and shared his bed with him. He was as tall as me. He was the best dog that I ever had and I miss him. Seeing this brings this all back. Wish I could help them out.
When they showed the brother, he looked defeated. His head was down, and even after the sister came in, he went up against the wall, as though he was scared he did not look comfortable…
Those are wooly huskies (aka long hair huskies), not malamutes. The two are often confused. Woolies are particularly gentle and strongly people oriented.

Oh my! I had a Malamute husky named “Beowulf” He was the biggest baby & had a perfect white heart on his forehead. I had him from 8 weeks old till he was 17 years old. I loved the “brushing” season when they “drop coat”… 🥰I gave bags of his 🫶🏼undercoat to this lady that made a hat & scarf🧣from the wool… the softest & warmest✨ever
Interesting I never knew ppl used their fur to make stuff
9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3
@@rosalbahamer994 It was the undercoat the very soft puffy fur, his neck ruff had long downy fur that would clump together & drop out in the spring… She didn’t use the long stiffer guard-hair woolly fur. I don’t know if maybe she spun the undercoat fur with anything else but she definitely knit the fur. What she gave me was so soft & warm..

I've seen other people who work with shelter dogs and. while I admire their hearts and intentions, sometimes they don't always treat the dogs with patience. Rocky is so beautiful with the dogs and lets them come to him naturally. Keep up the good work!
Watching Malamutes always make me cry. The only dog I ever had in my life was a Malamute. He was the best friend I ever had and I still miss him sometimes, even though he passed away 23 years ago 😢
I just saw some video about a shelter in Europe that figured out how to design kennels that were soundproof and visually private to reduce stress, it was awesome! Wish every shelter had funds to redesign ❤
Dear Rocky, what a wonderful caring loving man you are. I’ve been watching your videos for a few months now, and it just breaks my heart to see these sad pups. When you got to the brother, I thought you were going into him, as he looked so sad and shutdown too. I’m so glad they’ve been reunited, and hope this helps their progress 😢❤
💔 They seem so sweet and scared. I hope they both get adopted by loving family or families (together or separately). Thank you for doing what you do for the dogs who need it most!
Ash was possibly really bonded to his owner, and looks to be going through depression. He seems really closed down, as well as possibly just being older and conserving his energy. But this is perhaps going to take more work than Misty, who seems more engaged. Both are lovely dogs and I'm sure with he right people or person, both can lead wonderful new lives. I dearly hope they are homed together. ❤ Thanks as always Rocky for your sterling work with these beautiful creatures.
good job taking care of these sweeties. The wounds look like she had them under a door or cage pleading for someone to remember she is there. Please adopt these two.
Thank you for your compassion that you show every individual dog. I wish that I could do what you are doing but I wouldn't be able to stop feeling sad and possibly cry. It takes a great character to do what you do. I rescued a dog from a family member who was abusing qnd neglecting their dog. That dog was my whole world and in the end my only family member. I wish that all dogs and people find their pack ❤
Ash looks so down , poor soul, thank you so much to all the pp who help dogs like these and take good care off them when others haven’t . Your the best ppl
I am still surprised when a dog turns from sad to happy when you sit with them. You can see the change happening right before you. It is just one of the most amazing and beautiful and sad and oh just the emotions!
They are such sweet dogs, I know someone is missing them terribly. People get into situations where they can't care for their animals or even their homes like they used to. Doesn't mean they don't want to! Thanks for the open mindedness and willingness to help!
I love how you approach them, explaining what and why you do something a certain way. People can learn a lot from you. Thank you for being so kind to them... and trying to reünite them with their owners, helping with donations wrt dogfood etc. May The Lord bless you.

The shelter in my city has short-term foster care homes so people don't lose their pets - if someone needs to go into rehab after surgery, in the hospital, or need to find a new home, etc. It's a really wonderful thing.

As a foster for kittens, and I know my Rescue takes dogs too, why can't both dogs be put together in a foster home? I feel like that would definitely be the best thing in the world for both of them.
Because most people won't adopt two and they have a better chance of adoption.

The doggy in the background crying, just breaks my heart.
🙏🐶🥰❣️
Thank you for taking care of him. God bless you.
Thank you
❤
I agree, it’s the least I can do . I love huskys, malamutes, they give back 180%, I used to only have small dogs, I was Blessed to meet our big girls and fell in love with them.
you are such a special dude Rocky. Thanks for taking care of our 4 legged friends!
It’s true!!!!
UPDATE: both misty and ash have been adopted together!!! so proud of them
I would be the first to attest that adopting senior dogs is an awesome idea! The last four dogs I have adopted were senior rescues and even though they don’t live as long as younger pups it is so rewarding and they stole our hearts and made us so happy we were making their last years good in a loving home!
Good for you and I thank you for caring for a senior dog. God bless you.
Me, too. I’ve adopted 9 seniors in my life. I have three right now. I’m getting older, too, so I think my days are numbered on adopting. It continues to be a blessing for me everyday, and I’ve loved the foster-faces so much. I would not change a thing.
Seniors are amazing, calm, and low energy dogs, a good companion for sure! ❤.
I got him a senior dog with the promise I would
take her after my dad passed. Our vet was so pleased because she was sickened by people getting puppies
when they won't be around for them.
@@doloresreynolds8145 misty is very matted. I think the owner neglected her for months before being evicted.
Malamutes are stubborn and are generally a one person dog. Don't get me wrong, they love the family but there is one person they completely connect with.
I love the breed, they can be clown like and they have a great sense of the absurd.
These older pups not as much effort as you think.
Yes...truly our fellow brothers and sisters on this planet♥
So true 😭
So true! Thank you for stating that so eloquently. It’s what I cannot express when people say “they are just animals.”
@@DonnaAbrams-qh7ztaww that’s so sweet!
You are a kind soul
Love you ….
💕
I, too, tear up when Rocky says "It's not your fault ". I LOVE the affirmations!
My husband had a malamute almost 40 years ago, and I still have to listen to stories of how amazing she was! ❤
You WANT to listen. I know you do 😊❤
I had a Samoyed (Charlie) and he looks a lot like Ash. ❤
Malamutes and samoyeds are both what is referred to as spitz type dogs.
I end up crying with every video. I wish everyone was as loving towards animals as you are. Thank you so much for what you do and for modeling that to the TH-cam community.
These two are badly grieving the loss of theirs original Family and each other. Prayers for the Family be back together healing safe house and yard.
You're the best for giving him a chance when others gave up on him.
Gracias x cuidarlo❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂

Ahh how long did you have toby?
🥰
When Rocky said "even though you are caked in a film of oil, I'm so lucky to be petting you", my heart felt that. I was just floored by the statement. Such amazing love and care for these animals. Rocky is the literal best.
Thanks so much. It's crazy how normally I would be grossed out but there is something about the need in the moment that makes all of that melt away.
That was the look they had about them. Confusion. They look like they just wanna go home😢
I know, my heart is breaking for them both! I also for that crying dog! He surely NEEDS some comfort!
@@homesweetesthome1726 I know, I can't watch many of the rescue video's the ones I watch I forward to the end to see them all better, I can't stand to see them suffer.
It's sad when a dog cries.
I love this comment. No lies told. It’s not always because of abuse. Humans get sick or go through hardships and it impacts the pets.🥇❤️
@@greasey8695 What is ridiculous is you editing MY comment and then calling my comment ridiculous. But then again, you're slippery.
I think you're right about her paws. That makes a lot of sense.
Oh! Oh no! (I cannot
bear any of it)
She looks so sad
& terrified bless her🙏🇬🇧
The crying dog further along is breaking my heart also 💔 😢
Yes, He/She sounds so scared.😢
@user-ik2gz1qc8x: Me too! I wish I could adopt them all.
I think that the crying baby is aching for human love and attention because that dog can smell, and hear Rocky giving love, and attention to the Malamute dog from the other side of the kennel. Poor lonely baby! I wish Rocky and his team did something for that crying baby.
Her eyes changed from sad to hapiness. God bless you and everyone who works and or volunteer with them!!!
I'm so sorry 🙏💔🌹
She loved so deeply! I'm sorry for your loss.
That's how I feel. The love of my life was killed last August in a motorcycle accident and ever since life just isn't the same. I feel like I'm a walking zombie. I so relate to his female. My heart is shattered and I'm sure hers was as well.
@@janetrobinson2699 You have my deepest condolences. 🙏♥️ May you find peace. 🕊️🌹

She had so much sadness in her eyes. When you are giving her treats, it’s comforting her. Just like when a woman is crying, someone hands her chocolate, it’s comforting, just doesn’t take a pain away.
She is beautiful and I can see sadness in her eyes. My heart breaks seeing this. 😢❤
My shirt is wet from crying over them. Poor babies. So pleased they are together now. But still crying!! 😢💔😍
We adopted a 10 year old sheltie who lived to almost 16 years. She quickly adjusted to our home and our dogs and it wasn't long before she was "our" dog and was playing with our other 2 dogs. She was the best dog. We still miss her, she became part of our heart.

Your videos make me cry so hard but i can't stop watching.

No worries.
It could just be talking to everybody on this side, saying, "I like treats and loves, too!"
Please, contact them and tell them that you want the 2 dogs and ask them if there is a way of having the dogs transported over to you. Maybe there is a way of having the dogs sent over to your house! You never know until you ask.
@mgarcia2445 Please, that thing about "not living near enough to adopt" is a much too used excuse.
I sure hope they get adopted together.
Thank you for your support!
Dogs really are smart - my cousins always had malamutes and shelties -- they knew what the kids were doing, were able to alert parents to potential dangers, and one even rescued a kid who had walked into the middle of the street! Their protective instincts are amazing.
Oh my goodness! She is gorgeous and her smile just lights up her face. I hope they get the loving home they deserve.

When they showed the brother, he looked defeated. His head was down, and even after the sister came in, he went up against the wall, as though he was scared he did not look comfortable…
Malamutes are usually very smart and confident, this broke my heart. We had one for 15 years. Miss you Mare.
Those are wooly huskies (aka long hair huskies), not malamutes. The two are often confused. Woolies are particularly gentle and strongly people oriented.
Oh my! I had a Malamute husky named “Beowulf”
He was the biggest baby & had a perfect white heart on his forehead.
I had him from 8 weeks old till he was 17 years old.
I loved the “brushing” season when they “drop coat”…

It was the undercoat the very soft puffy fur, his neck ruff had long downy fur that would clump together & drop out in the spring…
She didn’t use the long stiffer guard-hair woolly fur.
I don’t know if maybe she spun the undercoat fur with anything else but she definitely knit the fur.
What she gave me was so soft & warm..
