Absolutely. I had forgotten how bare it originally was, I watched the first episode of DIY Chateau - Living the dream the other day and there was just a few lavender plants in the courtyard in the beginning.

You are all so lucky to have Kirsty and Pavlina in the garden, and with the sheep. They are so capable and good-natured in so many ways!
I'm glad we got to see Pavlina in the garden, missed her last episode, busy gardening it appears. Apparently she prefers gardening, and painting, over the flower arranging, according to the C.D. comment in last episode when someone asked where Pavlina is. So, it works out great that Marie is doing the flowers and Pavlina is in the garden. I look forward to Marie getting her studio cleaned of soot and perhaps a mirror, which she went next door to the gift shop to be able to see her bouquet from all angles in the mirror that is there.
Marie just moved to the boot room also, as it is closer to water and the kitchen. She said she would use the bread room for vloging also. Marie has a new wild flower plot, while Pavlina has a new herb garden, her famous teas and does some of the flowers also. I love their different styles. ❤
I just love your Mum and Percy, their adventures are simply a joy.

Kirsty is marvellously skilled in sheep shearing, plants and agriculture; she is a real blessing with a lovely personality. The sheep looked adorable, Alyoisious was resistant as always but home safe and sound. Everyone looked very fresh and pretty in Summer dresses. And, as always Percy is dashing, droll and witty and mummy patriarchal, organised and soo loving to the chick's and animals.
Annalise's hair is gorgeous; she has a stunning smile and is beautiful in her baby blue dress. Philip's dining table decorations and flowers were enchanting; he is so creative and each dining table decoration is unique .
The village is delightful and uplifting to see the community excited for new buildings and events. Xxxx ❤

Pavlina is such a sweet and original person, always doing things to help in any way at the chateau inside and out, we hope she stays as long as she wants to, one of the unique and least self centred of all the helpers and modest, keep her and make her feel wanted Please…!!!
Don't want to be nosey, but I had wondered what Pavlina interests and background was prior to arriving at the Chateau.
Watching these videos really is like stepping into a modern fairytale every time!
I did not appreciate the man kicking the dog at the bar. A nudge a slow push away with his leg is all that was required.
Yes, I thought the same! No idea why he done that and he looked so impatient with the dog. What a contrast to the way the animals at La Lande are treated😢. I hope its not his dog - if he’s like this in Public what is he like at home!

I wish I could forget the opening lines to the Chateau Diaries Stephanie and Philip. I'm a childminder and look after a little boy who is autistic every morning during lockdown ( I was able to look after him due to both parents being essential workers) . he would run in find you tube and find Stephanie's vlog (easy as I watched every day). He would watch the into again and again and again... 😂 never the actual content... He still remembers Stephanie when he sees her face. He actually says Hi I'm Stephanie and he has very restricted speech, so I'm always blown away when it happens. ❤❤😂

I think the sheep like being sheered! They know it's good for them.
On my husband's ranch they docked the lambs tails so maggots couldn't get into them.

Yes, it was a typo! I meant Maria....and I should have caught it as my name is Maria as well!! My family and friends go back and forth between calling me Maria and Marie so I didn't catch it until after I signed off, went to bed, and woke up thinking...duh! .There is both a Maria and a Marie at Lalande ..both are beautiful and gifted. Isabelle and Percy are amazing , Percy if here in oregon he would be a rancher by his looks , as they say here slightly bent but damn strong . They are wonderful to watch .
The village get together was lovely, so inviting and fun. Annalise is so pretty, gosh I wish i had her complexion, peaches and cream.

I’ve been inspired by Maria’s cooking and tried to make several of her recipes including the tomato tartare with avocado and the gaspacho with watermelon. Yummy!
I'd wondered about the roses. It's possible for rose colors to change a bit with soil minerals, however, a yellow and pink rose going completely white is too drastic for it to be the correct rose. What a shame they aren't as we hoped, but I agree the white does look lovely with the lavender.
I'm in love with your little village and the events they put on to bring members of the community together. It's my dream to live in a place like this - maybe one day....

I’ve recently been watching vlogs about livestock guard dogs and it was very sweet to seeing how quickly the dogs are trained to guard the chickens and because the start with chicks as young as yours, the chickens end up used to the dogs. Molly’s interest in and temperament with the chicks made me think of the LGD. ❤️🇨🇦

Just be careful when handling the chickens, that you wash your hands with soap, before eating or putting your hands in your mouth or other places, as you can get sick!
It's so funny how the sheep just let their heads flop over when being sheared like they're just devastated so might as well kill over lol. Loved seeing the chicks outside. I'm sure they enjoyed their little adventure. Stephanie, your dress was so beautiful!

You have to give them also crushed stones for digestion beside chick feed grass and water.

I have done cutting of my white rose and new rose become bright pink and one of my roses different shrub have halve pink and halve red but mother rose was red.🌈

The table cloth is exotic looking and the table setting is stunning. Well done Phillip. I love the greens, blues and browns. Quite different from anything you have done before. You must have so much fun with all of the choices that you have to work with. I can understand why you can't resist buying more dishware and glasses.

Stephanie and Phillip…..Is it possible to budget some funds to reupholster the dining room chairs? Phillip’s beautiful table settings as well as the stunning wallpaper will look so much better with fresh fabric on the chairs. I’m thinking a deep aqua or amethyst silk would be stunning. I know you have a lot on your To Do list, but this would complete the room. Just an opinion………..
I agree, both idea and color suggestions. Those chairs have always seemed vaguely 1970's Italianate to me, and while I personally like mustard colors, it's not right for that room. I know the dining room set was moved there, but it clashes. Now that it's B&B season in full swing though, they won't be able to do anything for awhile.

I love that car - it’s called a Deux-chevaux. You can easily removed the seats so where ever you go you can have a picnic. That would be a selling point for me. The courtyard is stunning and I think it is divine intervention that you have the white flowers. It is perfect!
