I'm from Pemberton and my 17 year old son and I did this as an overnighter a couple days ago. What a monster! We kind of underestimated this beast. Such a wicked summit hike though and glad to have finally knocked this one off the list after living in Pemby and staring at it for the past 25 years. Route finding up through the meadows to the summit was a bit tricky. The rock cairns are few and far between and there's a pretty scary little cliff/chute scramble going up towards the final long boulder field to the summit ridge.
This is the first video of yours where i think you did everything perfectly. The shots, the music, the audio, its all perfect. It's truly gorgeous. Awesome job!
Just Day tripped it Oct 1 this year. Blue bird summer like weather again. As anticipated, no summit push. After gaining the bowl below it was time for humble pie lunch & the return trip. Including the Pemby lookout on the way down, that was easily the toughest 23km day hike on my list to date. Be back for the summit on a multi day effort next summer.
@@lifeofluke definitely tops the list for another go. Managed to bag a few other day trip peaks in Pemby this summer so the stoke is high for overnights now
Really awesome video. I have wanted to climb Currie ever since I first saw it but access then was problematic. Now that there is a trail it is on the list again.
Hi Luke, great video! i was just hiking in northern norway and weather was perfect, similar like you had in there :) mountain peaks was just sticking out from clouds...
A lot of places in the world claim the title Gods country, but from those mountaintops in BC the beauty could be described as God's country or the realm of the Gods.

It's no small mountain, that's for sure! I hope you go back in the future to enjoy the views from the summit!

Happy birthday 🎈.Again beautiful Luke, I absolutely love this kind a content. I would love daily video’s.❤️❤️❤️

Hi Luke, great video! i was just hiking in northern norway and weather was perfect, similar like you had in there :) mountain peaks was just sticking out from clouds...
Awesome, I love it when the conditions are like that!
Your trips are in inspiring!! 👏🏻
Thanks Gus!
great vid, thanks; would you hazard a guess from what month it might be best to do this trail please? I am just thinking of the snowmelt...
I would say August/September as that's when there'd be the least amount of snow
@@lifeofluke thank you
And I thought the view from wedge-mount lake was good. That is an amazing hike
Ya that one is still on my list!
ah yes I see your rocking a bear burrito tent as well, your dog has climbed more peaks than most humans will ever do
haha, I love the compact size and weight savings of the bear burrito, and it's true, we don't plan on stopping!
Quick question, what drone do you use? Love the channel, so many awesome spots to explore.
Thanks Steve! I use the mavic 2 pro
Happy birthday man! Great hike! Btw are you fond of hiking poles? I feel like they were life changing for my knees
Thanks, Kevin! I know hiking poles can be super useful for stability on slippery terrain and help reduce shock to the knees but I don't use any... yet
This looks awesome.
Could you share the trail map or activity recording?
I don't have strava or anything like that, for a map I recommend checking out the info on AllTrails
How did you find that trail from Mount Curry do you know that I live on Pemberton of Canada's territories
I highly enjoyed it, and recommend you try it too!
What doggie pack is that? I need one for my border collie! He can carry his own stuff haha
I don't know the name of it but I got it from petsmart, it's just a cheap one
❤
Jeez I wish I had a Nina to go travelling with haha
haha she is pretty awesome!
How often do you have to help Nina?
rarely
How long is the hike?
20km return and 2300m elevation gain
