Keep up the good work, so interesting.
Catchup on Boxing Day in South Australia, might still be your Christmas Day 🎉! Another very entertaining and interesting podcast, thanks Iona and Cammy. It's great watching on UTube, much better than just listening. Happy holidays to you both.
Merry Christmas. Every popular podcast needs the Christmas Day special!
It was a great watch/listen.
Thank you!
Merry Christmas, Cammy and Iona! Another great podcast, and yes, I listened on Christmas day, before heading off to family dinner 😂
Happy holidays!
Good podcast again. Not having anything to do with farming a lot goes completely over my head but nevertheless very interesting. I can sympathise with your eye story. Cut my eye on a bamboo cane which flicked in my eye. Never felt pain like it. Couldn’t see at all as my good eye was streaming. My daughter had to lead me into the hospital and I was so relieved when they gave me the eye drops. Never experienced pain like it since!!!
I'm listening Cammy. Merry Christmas to you Cammy and the family. Merry Christmas to you Iona 🎅🎄
Merry Christmas Vivienne!!
Interesting, here in California everybody is talking about the current economic situation, and here's Cammy 6 thousand miles away saying the exact same words.
Great interview 👍
I’d take Iona out no bother 😂 been a great watch today
haha i'll pass that on
Good morning and Merry Christmas to you
I would love to hear a podcast with one of the Ingram boys from logie durno, maybe you could ask them?
I'd second that choice of guess ..or perhaps one of the Midlock team or Sean the viking..but I'd love to yous to get Allan back for part two to discuss if he would be willing how he and Hugh select what rams to what ewes.happy Christmas team
Woohoooo wee nizzy
Cammy, ironically Canada needs over 100k annually and we just don't have.
Kosher and halal butcher's are those that sell. The average Joe won't be selling with their religious requirements.
It's sad though, a supplier won't often feed to their own family due to cost or lost revenue.
That tells you something and a trend not just in Canada.
The point about butchers making more than the farmer, well butchers aren’t subsidised and as you mentioned New Zealand farmers are no longer subsidised. Best to stay clear of politics I suppose but you said Scotland isn’t diverse (which compared to England it isn’t), maybe somebody could point that out to your First Minister.
Cammy, as I understand it the muslim community utilise mostly old ewes and tups (and goats) as most of it is getting spiced and put into curries etc anyway. They are big consumers of sheep meat but it's not the best cuts off the best lambs at the butchers shop.
Interesting thanks. I'm going to try and get someone on who is involved in the export of lambs.
I got my lovely dog from you!
How do I get a question on FED by Farmers?
My vet bill is 10k every month, you think he is dealing in big numbers I farm pigs and it’s huge numbers you are dealing with
I bet it is Mike. Some huge operations in the pig business.
@@FedByFarmersPodcast it’s frightening if your ever up in the north east Scotland I will give tour
Wow!
Milking cows or feeding ewes or the arable lads out with their ploughs
That’s the one James!!
Some avoid full bulls because of taint and heifers you have to beware of them being on heat rideing others and bruising prime cuts
Interesting!!
The heifers will grade better at a lighter weight as well.
Region three here 🥲
Keep pushing on bro!
@FedByFarmersPodcast I am. The land is much better from when we moved in.
The rotsti9nal grazing is working. Just a lot of work for a tiny flock 🤣
