My husband and I love watching your channel but would like to make a suggestion ensuring you show your viewers all area of the home. When entering the home , choose to always go to the left first and work your way back around to the front then go to the right making sure to cover the entire main floor. Follow the same footprint when viewing the upper floors. Pleas don’t pass a door or room without entering and showing your audience 😊, and of course, do the same when touring the basement. Hope our comments are helpful.
@TammyJackson-b1y agreed...but Jonathan kinda shows us he gets lost🤣🤣🤣idk how many times I'm like...no Jonathan to the left...what was that door for....yes there's basement it's off the kitchen🤦🏿♂️
I love the house but I've watched too many scary movies to be comfortable with bedroom surrounded by the woods. The layout is a little confusing but the right family could make this an oasis. The indoor pool is a plus for me!
Thanks for the tour, Jonathan. Blessings to you and your family ❤ Yes, I would buy this house. It’s fabulous. Only thing I would update would be the yard. I would put in a new swing set for myself 😁
Love the location and the lot. For 3.5mil I wish they would’ve done hardwood instead of carpeting. I’m not crazy abt the floor plan but it’s a very nice house. The primary suite is beautiful.
I would love to see this home staged (or even lived in.) A place like this needs plants, art and warm decor to make it feel like home. Do not like the carpet ~~ looks cheap.
Wonderful renovation on a 1978 build into a modern family home. The California Ranch was my favorite 💫, but this modern family renovation is now my new favorite. Great find and review. Definitely a must have with manageable mature grounds. 👏🏼👏👏🏽
As a woman of color I actually don’t like the rainfall shower heads. I agree with you on the light fixtures. They don’t match the style of the house That is my dream kitchen pantry I LOVE this house. I would change out the light fixtures and the carpet. This house literally has wings.
I love it!!!!...saw another property in McLean that was not as nice for 5 mill....so this is a deal....primary bath is Banging‼️...pool could be the bane after year 3 but hey if I had the dough...SOLD!!!!
I like the house. I love modern/contemporary furnishings and fixtures. I’d love to have the architect drawings-moving from VA to Charlotte,NC area in ‘25. My dream home would not be in a wooded location. I enjoy watching your videos.
Hey Jonathan you totally missed the basement on the left side of the house in front of the utility room minute (7:13) of the video. Furnished correctly house is amazing
Awesome house and property. I am certain for the right buyer it will sell. The lighting throughout the home is completely off and does not complement this house, this is an easy fix for the new buyer. Now for the kitchen the beautiful wooden counter made to order bar is beautiful but does not match this style of home, however I am certain a decorator/designer could make some suggestions as to how to incorporate ideas to make this focal point a wow factor for the new home owner. I had an idea for the area of the house that had steps leading up to another level that has a balcony, bath & something attached to the wall in the closet. This section seemed to be somewhat separate from the rest of the house, could this area have been included in the original building plans as a place for a live in care taker. Just a thought. The panel in the closet may have been a Murphy Bed, one never knows. Enjoyed the video and congratulations on reaching the goal of subscribers.
As a black woman, i can't stand a rain head shower. We dont wash our hair everyday. And i agree, not feeling the light fixtures. They are too modern. But it is a nice rustic home with nice wood trim. Love the tall vaulted ceilings and the bathrooms. Not really feeling the indoor pool. I also don't think the oak bathroom vanities go with marble counters and dark trim and doors.
That shower is FAB but, man, it would be drafty. I like the pendants in the great room as far as style. They suit the house. Nice that they can change color warmth. However, they're unnecessary: the room doesn't need any more ceiling lights, since there are plenty already.
You can see it is a totally custom-built with tons of space, someone had tons of money to throw away LOL! Some areas in the home seem like an afterthought with not much purpose or rhyme or reason! I agree about the lighting fixtures, not a good choice! I love the huge wooden countertop but feel it should be separate from the granite top, it's like mixing apples and oranges and just doesn't flow, it would make a nice huge dinner table for guests only. 3 million sounds about right, talk about having your own my space! Love it though!
I like the house and would've loved it if the stove top was gas. The light fixtures has to be changed/ definitely some privacy widow treatments. It's a family house that needs several people for sure.
I would ONLY purchase if I had to house an extended family. We would have to spend a great deal of time in and on the property to enjoy the initial investment. Considering that most people do not occupy all the space they acquire, I would want to utilize all of the facilities. Purchasing quality appliances and utilitarian spaces would be an absolute MUST. I would make sure everything is structurally sound and accommodating for everything and everyone. I’d make sure I’d get bang for buck (inclusive of outdoor landscape and soil erosion checked)). Love the property and location. Just right for a family compound.❤
It’s too big! Who needs this kind of space? The mix of styles doesn’t work. The cost to furnish and add window treatments will be enormous. Of course, with enough funds for furnishings and decor this home could be beautiful. Love the wooded lot. The price seems fair for DC metro.
The is like a big maze. I like it. There would have to be a lot of security features added. The Primary bedroom is nice. I would make the room on the other side of the closet a sitting room.
Concern about the dampness in one of the garages. I agree - the light fixtures have to go. Yuk! Love the wooded outside area. The house has wonderful potential.
Wow😮 is right..I will say the siding on house takes away from the overall appeal for me.. I agree the light fixtures are awful and hate the carpet too. Just imagine how different you would see life living in a home like this.
It's definitely large enough for a multi family setup, with separation for privacy. The bathroom with two toilets was just unreal, but the kitchen was just too large. However, that hidden pantry was a great surprise, with too much modern styling going on!
I love the house, and the light fixtures can be replaced easily. It's worth the price, I estimated the house to be at that price, and if I could afford it, I would buy it without hesitation.
I am at the beginning of the video, and all I can think about is leaves. I guess if you can afford the house, you can pay for yard maintenance. I can't wait to see the rest 🤗
Beautiful spaces. I don't like the bedrooms in the loft, since the ceilings are very low, and they look proportioned for 1970-ish. They need brighter paint, perhaps. All of the square feet in this house are in really good shape: nothing looks junky. Beautiful lot. I like how relaxed it is. Nothing fussy. Very calming and refreshing. Price is worth it.
11:26 Those are ceiling fans as well as light fixtures, and no, they don't fit the style of the house to me either. 👎🏾 15:09 The appliances are Jenn-Air, an "Ultra" Luxury brand owned by Whirlpool. 🤑 This house is "cool" because of the pool but I wouldn't buy it because I prefer a more traditionally styled home. I'd rather buy one of the last 3 homes you toured on your channel, especially the 4 store white house😍and the red ex-rooming house😍. I also think it's weird and a safety concern that someone can walk straight from the front door to the primary suite on the outside so easily.
I like the shower feature. Seems like a lot of cut off rooms. I like the main kitchen area. I would buy but not for that price. For that price I expected more up to date fancy features and better light features. If I had the money I would definitely set it up for a family AirBnB vacation home.
I like the home. Yes, I'd change those light fixtures. This place is for a large family tho...as someone said, a stranger could be living there and u may not know for a while😊😊....but at $3.5mil, i want 2 laundry rooms, an elevator and a tricked out theater 😊
I'd pay $3m - $3.5m for it. I thought that it was going to be $4m! That indoor pool would turn me into a pool person. Also, you are right about those light fixtures; on their own, they are gorgeous. However, in the house, they are too "glam" for the modern/craftsman blended look.
This house is amazing! Keeps getting bigger and bigger LOL. When he opened the pantry my mouth hit the floor! I would buy this house if it came with a maid and miles of curtains 😂
Wow! Huge! I like how simply designed, yet, very nice, modern style. I don't think it's priced well. I would place the price in the 2's. I don't care for the pool being in the area that it us. It's wasted space to have it next to the kitchen, in my opinion.
Overall it’s a nice home. The styling is all over the place. Contemporary, New Age a little and then a log cabin feel. Carpet and non carpet. Too many different color woods and flooring. Those are the selling points for me. Size wise I love it. Also way too many entry points. That’s a safety factor to me. With a house this large it’s too many entry points even with security cameras and alarms. It would be a nice home for the right family. I like the secluded area.
I like the design of the home. It feels a little like Frank Lloyd Wright with all the windows ect. Its unfortunate all the updates don't go with the style of the home. But I would buy it and enjoy that indoor pool 😂
While the house has an overly extended layout, the master bedroom and bath are to kill for! Imagine waking in the morning with that bedroom view. The pool is fantastic. The house IS missing a sauna to go along with it. Price? Even with what I have said I'd have to get the price down a bit...$3.5 mil is a bit much.
I love the rain showers. It’s like a spa shower. And I am a Black woman. lol. Anywho. The light fixtures are pretty but you’re right. They don’t match the aesthetic of the home. Looks weird and too small for the rest of the decor. Overall though beautiful home. Love the master
Yes, I don't like rain shower , shower heads.😊 I recently spoke with my Generation Z grandson about getting rid of the carpets and exposing the hardwood underneath and he asked, "than how will I lay on the floor"? I said, "I'll put a nice rug on the floor", he said " just keep the carpet ". Hmmm, when gen z speaks...maybe I should listen😂
😂 A stranger could be living in that house with your entire family and you wouldn't even know it, not for awhile anyway. 🤣
Yep. That random car outside lol
Facts 😂
THIS IS IN CREDIBLLLLE!! PERFECTION!!❤❤❤ The Right Price. I would buy this house. THIS IS THE BEST HOME YOU HAVE SHOWN.
Yay you made it to 9k. Congratulations
This is the house that keeps on giving! t's huge. Not feeling the modern light fixtures but everything else is beautiful .
Buy buy buy buy..immediately

Yes, I would buy this house. It’s fabulous. Only thing I would update would be the yard. I would put in a new swing set for myself 😁
I love this huge house. Multi family house. Changing the light fixtures would be priority.
J Man, we NEED the names of those appliances. Not just this episode. Every episode please. These are things many people care about. Thanks 👍🏾
It’s Jennair appliance
Fantastic house I wouldn't change a thing! Glad your channel is growing and I watch every upload. I'm addicted!
Love the indoor swimming pool. That'll be a great gathering place for all family parties.
Love the location and the lot. For 3.5mil I wish they would’ve done hardwood instead of carpeting. I’m not crazy abt the floor plan but it’s a very nice house. The primary suite is beautiful.
Contemporary lighting does not match 😏
I would love to see this home staged (or even lived in.) A place like this needs plants, art and warm decor to make it feel like home. Do not like the carpet ~~ looks cheap.
Agree about the light fixtures - they do not match the style of the house.
OMG, the swimming pool set it off. I love everything about this house. I would love to have this house 😊
Amazing contemporary home!!!
I love it. Whoever style this has an eye for details. The indoor pool area is awesome.
Yes I agree with you on the lights. The fixtures do not match the style of home.
Too big. Too many steps. Who gonna clean all that?
The live oak counter does NOT complement that marble kitchen counter. Lots of space!
Wonderful renovation on a 1978 build into a modern family home. The California Ranch was my favorite 💫, but this modern family renovation is now my new favorite. Great find and review. Definitely a must have with manageable mature grounds. 👏🏼👏👏🏽
Love the house, hate the chandeliers, too modern for me. Thanks for sharing! 🏠
As a woman of color I actually don’t like the rainfall shower heads.
I agree with you on the light fixtures. They don’t match the style of the house
That is my dream kitchen pantry
I LOVE this house. I would change out the light fixtures and the carpet. This house literally has wings.
I like this house I thought they were asking 3 .5 million I would not change too much yes I would change those lights I like the fan
Love love it. Hate light fixtures!!! They're bismal😂
I love it!!!!...saw another property in McLean that was not as nice for 5 mill....so this is a deal....primary bath is Banging‼️...pool could be the bane after year 3 but hey if I had the dough...SOLD!!!!
I love the kitchen design. Those aren't cheap kitchen cabinets. I love it when people mix two different styles
Love it and awesome showing, I also love the light fixture.😊❤
3.5 million that’s not too bad at all! I was thinking $5.5 million and it’s right on the road to DC ain’t too bad at all
Me too... thought it was under price
It’s an amazing home that would make the right family happy. I love that the house isn’t too open, but there are plenty of places to entertain guests.
The balcony porch seems narrow.
Very
Beautiful home just like it is love it!!!😊
Jonathan, just love your tours!
This is the best house!! I love everything!!
I agree with you about the lighting!
I like the house.
Ultra contemporary I love it!!

Yes! Rain shower heads is giving very anti-Black woman!
Right I’m natural and don’t wash my hair every day! 😂😂
Rain heads are actually good for me because my hair gets very greasy and needs washing everyday. No carpeting isn't making a comeback.
But that jetted tub ▪ love!
Agreed. Rain showers are something I'd steer way clear of.😂
Love this tour!
Love your “ hoodie “! Great house
Except for some of the light fixtures, I really like this house. If I had the money, I would buy it.
What an interesting home design on the owner's part. Business or home?!?
Definitely a 3.5 million dollar home but I really like this home.
It's dope
I absolutely love this home...the only thing it's missing is me! I would change the light figures though..
That shower is FAB but, man, it would be drafty.

I really love the house. Fixtures aren't too bad, but I do agree, not for this house.
This is a fabulous place it just need to get the justice it deserves.
WOOW IS RIGHT!!! DAMN 😂🤣😂🔥🔥🔥🔥

I love that pool!!! Its a no for me to modern. Thanks for video.

Wow😮 is right..I will say the siding on house takes away from the overall appeal for me.. I agree the light fixtures are awful and hate the carpet too. Just imagine how different you would see life living in a home like this.
That's a whole lot of house. I like everything except those LED lights. $3.5MM is a fair price.
I don't like the lights either. I'm from Texas. We have more ceiling fans, maybe because of the heat, I guess.
It's definitely large enough for a multi family setup, with separation for privacy. The bathroom with two toilets was just unreal, but the kitchen was just too large. However, that hidden pantry was a great surprise, with too much modern styling going on!
Once I saw the pool, I was sold!!
All that house for 3 mill!?!? And did the primary bathroom have 2 separate toilets?!?!? If yes then🤌🏾
I love the house, and the light fixtures can be replaced easily. It's worth the price, I estimated the house to be at that price, and if I could afford it, I would buy it without hesitation.
i love it
I became subscriber. Nice home
Nice house!!!
I am at the beginning of the video, and all I can think about is leaves.
I guess if you can afford the house, you can pay for yard maintenance.
I can't wait to see the rest 🤗
The house has Airbnb potential, and I would definitely buy it soley for that purpose.
2 BIG
Beautiful spaces. I don't like the bedrooms in the loft, since the ceilings are very low, and they look proportioned for 1970-ish. They need brighter paint, perhaps.
All of the square feet in this house are in really good shape: nothing looks junky. Beautiful lot. I like how relaxed it is. Nothing fussy. Very calming and refreshing.

This home is Dope ..I would possibly change the light fixtures though

I'd pay $3m - $3.5m for it. I thought that it was going to be $4m! That indoor pool would turn me into a pool person. Also, you are right about those light fixtures; on their own, they are gorgeous. However, in the house, they are too "glam" for the modern/craftsman blended look.
These houses are soooooo big. It’s hard for me to picture living in these massive homes. I would love for you to tour a 2500 sf house.
This house is amazing! Keeps getting bigger and bigger LOL. When he opened the pantry my mouth hit the floor! I would buy this house if it came with a maid and miles of curtains 😂
Deal breaker is unattractive stairs right at the front door! Love the bathrooms, but nasty steps!Love your vlogs! Keep up the good work!
Wow! Huge! I like how simply designed, yet, very nice, modern style. I don't think it's priced well. I would place the price in the 2's. I don't care for the pool being in the area that it us. It's wasted space to have it next to the kitchen, in my opinion.
Love it but lights would be the one thing I’d change
❤❤❤❤
The home is beautiful but I would definitely replace the light fixtures.
I was close I said 4 million. The only thing I didn’t like was the indoor pool. But it’s a nice house with a lot of space.

You went a good long while w/o using “master” room/closet etc, but then, there you go! 😂
The modern lights definitely don't fit the house. It's perfect otherwise. The price is high but it's really nice and I would buy it.
I love the rain showers. It’s like a spa shower. And I am a Black woman. lol. Anywho. The light fixtures are pretty but you’re right. They don’t match the aesthetic of the home. Looks weird and too small for the rest of the decor. Overall though beautiful home. Love the master
The rooms are too scattered. You are right the lights don't go with the home. If I smell dampness I'm out

They might be the modern fandeliers.
