      Tbch that's why I liked the video too. The guy goes into how to cut a flower but in depth for complete beginners who have no idea like myself.

    It's a rare thing for me to subscribe to a channel but I did because I like the way you give precise clear information on a subject that I like. If you could mention the date when you post it would help me and I'm sure others too as you often show us updates of up to 12 weeks later which could potentially put us in a whole new season. Great videos, keep em coming. Thanks.

      I have may update videos to finish but i'm having computer issues right now. As this channel is now global dates would be different in each country so i don't specify in order not to confuse seasons. Glad you like my channel :)

    Helpful advice. Reassuring to know that some wilting along the way is normal. Since some of our dahlias tend sprawl anyway, I’ll take some cuttings to make it more compact and see what happens.

    Love your videos, they're super helpful. Dahlias are my favourite plant so I want to build up my stock, just wondering when is the best time of year to do this??

    • @ProjectDiaries
      @ProjectDiaries  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      As the UK had so much rain early summer they bloomed late this year but when ever they are strong enough or showing buds should be fine. doing them too late in summer could mean they won't create tubers before Winter hits but you could bring them inside until they're done.

      It's hard to give a time as all flowers grow at different rates but cuttings are bets from young new shoots so just after flowering.
