7:42 Ant-Man everywhere😭😂 and Jack is living his best life, he's back alive and hopefully not a clone and got a girlfriend and hopefully it doesn't go bad
It might be silly, but the image of She Hulk picking up an ambulance stuck in traffic and carrying it so it can get where it needs to go makes me smile pretty big, it’s a little thing, but it just shows what a big heart the Jennifer Walters character has.😊😊😊
I picked this up after your #1 review. This is a very fun book and really my first She-Hulk. I'm liking it. Man it is hard not to put on those ship goggles.
I've had a soft spot for Jack since his eighties mini-series. The guy took Parker Luck and turned it up to eleven. And personally, I don't have that much faith in Stark either.
The issue was just people talking and yet it was more enjoyable than most comics. Let’s you know it’s well written and that things don’t have to be all action all the time.
Personally, I've always shipped Jen and Hawkeye, I think they'd have a great, Chaotic energy between the two of them. I even wrote a comic once of the two of them acting as a lawer and process server who specialise in civil court cases brought against super villains and superheroes. I wrote that they hooked up after a big Avengers battle, and Clint offered to help Jen out with a job the next morning. The job went well (they served papers to Speed Demon on behalf of his ex-wife for unpaid child support), so they started working together officially. The both agreed that a romantic relationship between the two of them would be *a really bad idea* but their friendship really solidified their working relationship. I should probably try and find that story again, I still think I could do something with that set-up... 🤔
I have honestly gotten super worn out by how comics seem to go from big thing to big thing so having a couple issues that are set up, world building, etc. makes me really want to invest in reading this series (broke though I might be). Also I am *ALWAYS* for more representation of relationship dynamics that involve more dominate women so mark me down for team Jeck!
You can have both small and big in one issue. Think about how someone picking up she hulk for the first time would walk away. A boring character that doesn't do anything.
I noticed (and appreciated) how you jumped in to Jack's backstory with "Jack was Tony's apprentice". Not Tony Stark's or Iron Man's but Tony. I chose to believe it was a nod to the shared nerd knowledge and not an editing oversight.
When Jen said Hank I thought she was talking about Hank McCoy (Beast). I'm glad they went over JOH's background so we know what this writer is pulling from for this story. I'm on board.
Jack is back!!!!!! I said "oh, hellz, yes"!!! I missed that scamp! And with hottie, er, She-Hulk!!! (Was that inappropriate?) I hope this really is Jack and that he stays, not blow up or just disappear in some soul draining way. (Can you guess I'm a fan? Old guy here!) Sasha, you rule the known universe! You have the Infinity Gems and you use them wisely! That's my way of saying your video brought me joy today! Peace! ✌
Jack is an interesting character. From his first appearance he had potential, and still has potential, but it all gets squandered when the majority of writers think of him as Avengers Disassembled guy. He also didn't kill Scott. Scott was saved via time travel, so Jack exploded for nothing. Thanks Scarlet Witch.

Superhero comics are a particular genre. And there are things that they are suited for and aren't. Adventure/action is the main. And related is crime. Or crime horror. Or for magic, horror. When they do slice of life, its in the like Archie tradition of teen comedy. Or just comedy. But a serious slice of life as a break or to show her daily schedule would be fine. Okay had to read this before I watched the video. So far so good in my opinion. Jen is being written as Jen, not as a female version of Bruce's dissociative Identity disorder. The story you mention drove me away from Avengers. As for the Jackjen, or is it Jenjack relationship, I'm going to wait and see.
Jen Walters is a delight to read about, just going her big green life. I hope the Disney+ series captures this. I have high hopes: Tatiana Maslany is amazing!

Hi Sarah, Love you videos, never miss one. Started watching last year and i´ve been in love with your content ever since. Hugs and kisses here from Brazil.
Honestly the thing that popped into my head on the food side was less "this isn't jack" and more the wasp coming home going... "ALL of my FOOD!?" Roommates man.
Gonna be honest, I love the idea of She-Hulk but I found myself more confused at some of the vagueness in everything i've read. 😂 I love B/C/D+ listers, and jump at the chance to collect any niche hero runs i come across. Plus, I instantly fell in love with Jack too. Only downside is overall I felt like I was REALLY out of the loop this time! I've never read a she-hulk run before (I was not interested in roid she-hulk), and I do think plot points would've been heightned by having a classic she-hulk backround. Still, it's a really great start, and Jack and Jen seem interesting & as a possible pair. :) Can't wait to see where it goes!! 😂😊
Kurt Busiek made me fall in love with Jack. Because of him I've gone back and dug up old issues so I can have his brief continuity. Would have loved to see what Kurt would have done with him given more time to play with the character. That design is full on 70s Marvel which I'm always onboard for. However, I found this issue wanting. While I love issues that give us a breather to develop the characters, this all felt like an inflated recap page, and for those already familiar with the continuity it was an "okay we get it" moment. It was a fast read which I always love, but I felt I didn't get enough substance for the cover price.
I'm not sure what Beast could do. Offer up a brittle bon mot? Quote some obscure playwright? Reed, Hank, Tony... lots of dashes... Hank McCoy. I'm not saying anything against Beast's intelligence BUT he is more of a normal scientist compared to the ones who compare to Doom.
Really went with Sultry for amnesiac jack. I'll say the positive is that the more I saw Jack's costume, the more I liked it. But maybe give him a hat like the card. But a problem with the character is that his powers are so unrelated to his hero name. And seemingly to anything about him based on this flash back(like how he got them and what gave it to him). Seems like marvel has a surplus of energy characters that can do the same stuff. I get it's a pun on his name but what is that a clue for his enemies? There's a disconnect in design. And also the issue with that they still haven't shown what a she hulk adventure would look like.
Maybe someone took Jack's radiation absorption power because they plan to take She-hulk's radiation away to complete their creepy She-hulk shrine. Because they're a super-stalker
I really appreciated this issue. It was well paced character development, which too many series seem to forget to have at times. I'm happy Jack is back, but my Shulkie ship will always be Wyatt Wingfoot.
Liking the look, Sasha! I like she Hulk, but this one does a lot of explaining and not enough She-Hulk. Favorite Sasha Quote: "I didn't forget Jack, how dare you. I just didn't think about him."
I really appreciated the way Jack of Hearts' backstory was presented in the issue. I didn't know who he was before this, and I feel like it did a good job of giving me enough to understand who he was, what his powers were, and what had happened in the past. Carefully spelling out each stage of his deaths could have made this exposition-heavy issue too tedious and not left room for some of the subtler character touches that felt relevant here.
For some reason, I keep hearing a certain song by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (featuring Stevie Nicks). Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around. Shipping and Handling free with this issue. Well, maybe not Handling…
I really enjoy these books where there's more personality and life stuff going on than action for some reason. Also, I kinda hope she never puts shoes back on again.😏
I actually finding myself having a lot of fun and enjoying the new she Hulk series. It's nice to have realtively low stakes at least so far. It's fun, I miss fun
I don't know a lot about Marvel but I picked up the Silver Surfer Rebirth series and it looks like Jack of Hearts is there too. Not sure. Could be wrong.

She-Heart gets my vote!!
Jen Walters is a delight to read about, just going her big green life. I hope the Disney+ series captures this. I have high hopes: Tatiana Maslany is amazing!
She-Hulk + Jack of Hearts = *Sharts!*
“ My Word The VAPORS “ LMAO Sasha You Are The Best 💯 Jack is Winning BIG TIME, So Far…Which of course means Shulkie’s Heart Can’t Last…No Lasting Relationship in Comics Except The Richard’s , as long as you keep Sue from Hunky Royalty ( Namor, T’Challa, even Doom 🤏🏾) Cute Comic Nice & Light Hearted “AtThe Time Of This Comment” …Keep Up The Outstanding Work Sasha 🖖🏾
She Hulk with the Fantastic Four is my favorite with the Avengers she is just another power hitter. With the Fantastic Four she was so many things lawyer , best buds with Susan Storm Johnny flamed on her . Potential baby sitter for the kids etc.
Hi Sarah, Love you videos, never miss one. Started watching last year and i´ve been in love with your content ever since. Hugs and kisses here from Brazil.
Honestly the thing that popped into my head on the food side was less "this isn't jack" and more the wasp coming home going...
"ALL of my FOOD!?"
Roommates man.
i dont read comics but i am OBESSED with you vids!! their so good!! also, where did you get your bookshelf, it looks nice!
Gonna be honest, I love the idea of She-Hulk but I found myself more confused at some of the vagueness in everything i've read. 😂
I love B/C/D+ listers, and jump at the chance to collect any niche hero runs i come across. 😂😊
"If it is Jack" ah, yes, can't ignore that possibility, good call
Kurt Busiek made me fall in love with Jack. Because of him I've gone back and dug up old issues so I can have his brief continuity. Would have loved to see what Kurt would have done with him given more time to play with the character. That design is full on 70s Marvel which I'm always onboard for. However, I found this issue wanting. While I love issues that give us a breather to develop the characters, this all felt like an inflated recap page, and for those already familiar with the continuity it was an "okay we get it" moment. It was a fast read which I always love, but I felt I didn't get enough substance for the cover price.
Yessss issue #2
Having read rainbow Rowells recent runaways series, I hope you're ready for a sloooooow burn.
I think the tank thing is just a very heavily trimmed version of his revival in Zombies Supreme
I’ve known about Jack since he appeared in Silver Surfer. He has never really been used well since. Hopefully he gets a good run this time.
I had to share Lady Clayface shows up in this weeks Detective Comics 1057 and didn't know where else to put it lol more for the Claylist? :)
When She-hulk offers Hank, maybe she’s referring to Beast since he was also an avenger
Who hasn't been an Avenger lol
@@CasuallyComics Only Dr. Doom…Oops I spoke too soon - Says he’s “a reserve member in the case that he becomes less mean” 😆✌️
@@CasuallyComics fair enough
I'm not sure what Beast could do. Offer up a brittle bon mot? Quote some obscure playwright?
Reed, Hank, Tony... lots of dashes... Hank McCoy. I'm not saying anything against Beast's intelligence BUT he is more of a normal scientist compared to the ones who compare to Doom.
@@tskmaster3837 Plus Marvel has ruined Hank Mccoy along with all the other Xmen with this Krakoa bullshit
Ship to Jencks? BTW - nice tie in with the shirt.
ALL HAIL SASHA QUEEN OF COMICS AND WIGS
I'll try to remember this when the She-Hulk series shows up on Disney+.
Maybe someone took Jack's radiation absorption power because they plan to take She-hulk's radiation away to complete their creepy She-hulk shrine.
Because they're a super-stalker
JackEE-Hulk.
With a little EH! in the middle.
Is this a reboot for jack?
Good show.
I really appreciated this issue. It was well paced character development, which too many series seem to forget to have at times. I'm happy Jack is back, but my Shulkie ship will always be Wyatt Wingfoot.
That Geoff Johns Avengers run was real bad.
Liking the look, Sasha! I like she Hulk, but this one does a lot of explaining and not enough She-Hulk.
Favorite Sasha Quote: "I didn't forget Jack, how dare you. I just didn't think about him."
I've really enjoyed both issues. They're different and well written
Didn't know that Jack of Hearts character before, but if Jen likes him I like him too 😙 Goggles on waiting for issue 3!
Last I saw Jack of Hearts he was in an issue of ROM Spaceknight.
Jack of heart has always been a favorite of mine
Man the more I see scans of the Geoff Johns Avengers stuff the more I realize he just didn't get any of these characters at all.
2:42 Wait this happened in which issue they got separated
Thanks for the review! I used to like Jack waaaayyyy back when....like the 80's? Was a while ago. Seems too powerful now.
I thunk we should revisit (or visit) the She-Hulk and Thor bootiecalls.
I like the She-Hulk series so far (and Strange).
