Hello. Thank you for watching, subscribing and leave a lovely comment, it's really kind of you. We loved DLP last Christmas, we have mini series on TH-cam if you would like some DLP action 😂.
It was a very good Shanghai travel day blog today chilling out and relaxing waiting to boarding your plane flying from London Heathrow Airport to Shanghai pudong international Airport Airport in Shanghai with vigrin Atlantic for the Shanghai vibes the Hackett family
Greetings from the state of Indiana, United States. Just came across your Disney videos for the first time and subscribed. I'm rubbing my chin and commenting to tell that you are extremely blessed to have a beautiful gorgeous family. Both of your daughters are lively, happy, and bubbly. Your eldest daughter is extremely intelligent. Your youngest daughter is so so adorable and cute. Her facial expressions and sweet personality when she said "It's a toothbrush, silly" while opening the "scrubber" and "toe hair comb" just melted my heart. Hope you and your family enjoyed Shanghai as I look forward to more of your Asian adventures. See you real soon. Cheers.
Hello. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing, but more for the lovely words and kindness. It’s greatly appreciated. We know we have 2 very special girls, we’re very lucky. Have a wonderful day and thank you again. 🙌🏻
Ha Ha. In real life, there was a good 6-7 weeks between getting home from Orlando and going to China, but the Vlog schedule and editing meant we have gone back-to-back. Hope you enjoy the series.
So exciting! Looking forward to seeing your trip and Shanghai and Hong Kong and of course their Disneylands! Bet their merchandise is amazing!?! Longest journey was to Guam, approx. 24 hours (took 3 plane rides, UK to Italy then to Japan and then straight to Guam) once I got there I slept about 12 hours straight was so shattered!!
Thanks Sarah. Merch was ok, definitely cheaper, but not big on our usual go-to’s. Hopefully we cover it appropriately in the vlogs. Wow, that is a BIG journey. Hope it as worth it on the other end!
Will watch this tomorrow as this is exactly what we want to do , fly to Beijing then onto Seoul and then back to U.K. as that’s the 3 country rule . I will comment after but this could help us so so much
Great first vlog, can’t wait to watch the series!! Longest flight for me was Fiji, first leg was London to LA then LA to Nadi airport in Fiji then a catamaran boat to an island called Castaway!!
We did visit Shanghai, Shanghai Disney, Hong Kong and Hong Disney, so with children, that’s quite a bit of travel in a two week period. We will certainly be back to China in the future to see other areas. We would love to see Beijing and Chongqing in particular.
Love travel day vlogs so excited to follow your travels especially Hong Kong see how it has changed since I was there last. longest flight was a on a Casevac flight from Hong Kong Stay Safe
@ If I remember correctly about 16/ 18 hours But we were on an RAF VC 10 from Kai Tak Hong Kong ( seats all facing backwards as well )then via RAF Gan Maldives RAF, Akrotiri Cyprus then onto RAF Brize Norton UK Think the RAF knew I was RN LOL
One big tip for the next time which is also really fun is to use the magleff train from the airport to the city it takes like 10 mins and its cheap aswell
Even the Indian people lived in Ireland have Irish passport no need apply Chinese visa can used the Irish passport enter to China visa free for 15 days.
Just watched your travel day vlog really enjoyed it Thank you. Can I please ask when did you go?, also did you book a package or was it done everything separately?. Looking forward to your next vlog. Thank you.
@ Thank you so much for your prompt reply, could you please tell me is Shanghai Disney and Hong Kong Disney wheelchair friendly as my wife is in a wheelchair also is it good for young children (3 years old). Thank you
I'm pretty sure both were Wheelchair friendly, we had the pram/stroller with us for our youngest, Sienna and had no issues getting around. With regards the rides, I'm not too sure, I'm afraid. Both parks are definatly good for younger ones, like all Disney Parks. There is so much to do, which you'll see later in the series. Sienna is 5 and loved it.
Look forward to your Disney tour in China. Just a friendly reminder, there are three hotels in Hong Kong Disneyland, if you stay in just one of them, do visit the other two as well! They are of different vibes, different designs... You may assess the hotels either on foot or by the free shuttle bus.
We both booked ourselves the Virgin kids meal on our last flight from MAN-MCO. That Jammie Dodger is amazing ❤. Are Virgin still flying to SVG, I heard they stopped the route ?
Hey Bazza. Hope you’re both well. Ha ha, I know the girls certainly enjoyed it 😂. I’m more of a cookie man! No, they finished in October. We flew home on the last flight back 😢 I think it will be back in Spring 2025. 🤞🏻
I love China so modern and clean I feel very safe there too when I visit. I'm off to South Korea for the third time this year this week :D also a nice place to visit.
@ Im on Virgin’s LHR-PVG route at least twice a year. Now I’m left with BA (seats are smaller and food is worse) or China Eastern (costs much more). Air China operates in Gatwick which means an extra 1 hour train journey in London. I should be glad that there’s still plenty of options left.
We spoke to a lot of the Virgin team and they think they will be flying to PVG again in Spring 2025, so fingers crossed. We used China Eastern to travel to Hong Kong and found them very good!
Ha ha. 😂 I assume you mean when we were on the flight and looking out the window? It was a plane. There were many flying past, which was a first for us to see too.
China best place for family tour.😊
We agree!
welcome to Shanghai 欢迎你们

Thank you. We knew we were simply visiting the areas with Disney Parks on this trip, so the 144 Visa worked well on this occasion.

Thank you. We loved it.
you guys can do another British vlogger do but they're based in Asia so easier for them. Anyways I have subscribed.

Are you planning to visit all of the Disneylands in the world?
Yeah. We only have Tokyo left to do now!
