This is what I think of when someone calls themselves ''bushcraft''. No electricity, no battery power tools, no expensive bedding or tents. Just a man, his dog and survival talent. Best bushcraft channel on TH-cam.
Just want to say thanks. While homeless, I came across this video and it saved my life. I was able to construct a camp similar to this and ride out a month of wind and rain inside of it. Your video literally saved a persons life dude! I am not homeless anymore but if I had not seen this video... not sure if I would have survived that winter

I love this. It shows how different women think to men. All male comments are about the creativity and the amazing shelter and you think only about the dog. You do realize the dog is not what the video was about right? Appreciate the freedom and go camping yourself instead of getting your nails done.

I’ve never in my life had my nails done. Not even once. I’ve been camping at least 3 times a summer since I was a little girl. I live in Alabama on 165 acres, same place all my life. I understand and appreciate everything in this video, I just happened to comment on the dog because I very recently lost my dog of 16 years….sorry my comment pissed you off, but I wasn’t talking to you when I wrote it.

Incredible shelter build and that dog never stopped pacing what energy and intelligence.
It was a terrible shelter. It was open on one end, thereby losing heat. He had to spend all day cutting firewood and feeding his furnace because he compensating for the heat he was losing.

What is it about people's pets getting all excited when they see their master constructing things? I guess they feel secure and a part of the family. My cat does that when I'm doing woodcrafting at home.

Your dog food looks better than the kind they sell here in Miami Florida. I like watching your videos. I have never seen snow so it intrigues me to see how nice it is to camp in the cold weather. We sweat here in Miami at night.
Ich finde Dich, was Du tust und Deinen Hund klasse. Während er mit schier endloser Kraft rund um und durchs Lager läuft, baust Du Dir das, wovon wir als Kinder nur geträumt haben. Highlight für mich jedesmal: Hund kriegt was zu fressen und Du sitzt im Zelt und machst Dir Dein Fleisch, Brot, Tomate etc. und trinkst Deinen Tee. Am Ende sitzt Ihr beide am Feuer. Herr und Hund vereint. EIn Traum von Freiheit.
