You have to replenish the sand on the beach by a few meters every year and repair storm surge damage to the dunes if you want to stop the erosion like we do here in The Netherlands. Sand is sucked up from the sea bed and shipped to the shore where it is sprayed with water on or just in front of the beaches. Search TH-cam for "zandsuppletie".
