Love this video!! I have noticed that Shea butter in a lotion recipe will “freeze” up while applying to the skin. It will glide in the first 5 seconds, but then will get stiff as you massage into to the skin. I think if i used mango butter, instead of Shea, It will be better. Ever happen to you??
Hi! You turn the percentages she gives you and convert into however you measure things out. So if you’re making a batch of 8oz, find a percentage calculator and if it’s 60% distilled water, then the calculator will determine how many oz that will be. Hope this helps someone.
I've never heard of CETERYL ALCOHOL, Where do you buy that one from??? Is it similar to CETOSTEARYL ALCOHOL??(AKA CETEARYL ALCOHOL) I also love OLIVEM 1000 It provides excellent spread ability without that annoying soaping effect. Nice video BTW!! ♥🥰

No I haven't had that problem with shea butter or mango butter, maybe try a different emulsifier.

Cetyl alcohol is an ingredient in cetearyl alcohol ..so cetearyl is actually better!
I found mine on Etsy.
