New Honda City & Jazz (2014-18) Ignition Lock Repair

Honda City had history of lock problem from 2009 which abruptly gets stuck without any warning. The problem is also present in new Honda City and Jazz (Petrol & Diesel). Repairing this lock is very typical but still with right tools you can DIY. We have covered all necessary steps required in repairing this lock from lock opening to repairing to fitting it back.

Very nice. I am curious how you had so much steering wheel rotation when you were removing screws. In the US we have tiny screws holding the plastic parts on that are difficult to remove. You have other obstacles that we don't. I will rewatch this many times. It is hard for me to watch what is happening and read the explanation at the same time. Thank you, gentlemen.

The two big bolt removal is the opposite of the usual way. Is not lefty loosy, is the opposite from 2013-2017 honda accords

this is not a lock fix, it reduces the security by removing some of the lock safety mechanisms. Now more keys will fit the lock. and it looks like he's removed the pin that would allow you to remove the key while the car is running.
