it could very easily function as a standalone, but it has a sequel called the girl the sea gave back, although its more of a new book same universe type situation. it follows a new character and one of the sky in the deep characters, while making references to others. sky in the deep is amazing on its own, and while the girl the sea gave back isn't quite as good as the first one, you should totally check it out.
@@alysellin686 yeah i understand that, its a lot of the same, like her wanting to leave and stuff but I love the ending and the characters enough to push through some of the more repetitive parts.
Cool episode. I have to disagree. Character development in this book is profoundly lacking. We never get deep inside any of the characters here. Plus there’s Lots of cliché writing, which also prevents us from getting invested in the story. Underwhelming read.
ive read this book.so underated and absolutely amazing.totaly recommend.
Can we get any discussion about the famous books of Romantic period??
unfortunetly yes.totaly wish it wasnt though.

@@pauldonsky2422 I read sky in the deep in one day. It started off fantastic, but I kind of got bored from about 3/4 onwards.
