I love bookshelf tours, and it's great that you explain how your books are arranged. It definitely seems fitting, considering you're a librarian, that you would group them by genre :) I worked in a library for years (as a cataloger), and I may be too interested in how people organize their shelves, lol!

I also want to thank you for exposing me to Kazuo Ishiguro. I read that his stories tend to focus on mono no aware and that he cites Dostoyevsky and Proust as two major influences. I am easily induced to read his work now that I know.
I like many of the classics you have! Especially the Ralph Waldo Emerson. And, yes, The Sea Wolf is by Jack London. He is probably the only reason I ever became interested in fiction.
