Good review! I totally agree. I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU HELD THAT BOOK UP THE ENTIRE TIME!!! A review and a workout.

Norman Bodnar 😂😂 Glad you appreciate how difficult that was! I’m not sure why I didn’t set it down!

I just finished this book! I agree with everything you say, especially the romance and friendships. I also love the fact that same sex couples and strong females are just the norm, it’s never discussed as being ‘wrong’, it just accepted and I adored that.

I just got my copy and I am so excited to start reading it! And also, the eye rolling on romance bits of books IS SO ME. hahahaha. Love your review!

Currently reading through this gem of a book, but this book is so dang GOOD! These characters and the relationships that develop between them (ie Ead & Sabran) just haven't let me put the book down. The religion aspect is so well explored and well written as well, and it allows for so much growth of the characters through questioning these deep held beliefs. Very well written thus far!

I just ordered this book and I’m stoked!! The beautiful cover has been tempting me for way too long. Thank you for the review, I have just the right mindset to go into this book now. :)

Just finished Priory and it was very good! I had some pacing issues at the beginning when the perspectives would shift before I felt connected to the characters but I think a second read would make it fly way faster.

I read this book twice in 6 months last year and I didnt know how I managed it. But that was how engrossed I was. Now, watching your wonderful review make me nostalgic enough to re-read it again for the third time.
Also, did anyone sort the four (characters) perspective into Hogwarys houses? Or just me?

You didn't feel the last 25% of the book was rushed and weak? I loved the book but the last quarter was like the last season of GOT to me

Sounds like an interesting read. I've seen it on the shelves a few times but haven't yet tried it. Will give it a go! ((I clicked on your Instagram link on your bio but it takes me to a blank page.)

Are there action sequences in here or just mainly political

There’s two types of magic systems. There’s hard magic with rules and limitations and in depth discussion about Brent week and Sanderson have hard magic system this one is more so soft even though it had limitations

      I almost always prefer soft!

@@BookswithBrittany yeah soft is usually better because when you have a hard one that becomes like the second plot in a way you
