What does the P092 -(09) mean?

It’s basically a big ol’ symbol, like a flight number: “P” means passenger, 092 is the train number, and -(09) is the date it left its origin (Miami, April 09).

@@piedmontrailfan81 thank you. It makes sense now. I was trying all kinds of combinations….p for power….etc. ignorance maybe be bliss but it’s still ignorant.
