As an author who writes Regency romances, I greatly appreciate being able to watch how a Regency dance would have been performed. I can now visualise my characters as they dance. Thank you for posting this!
I attended a Jane Austen meeting today and there was a lesson on dances. It was such great fun learning the two dances. Much more simple than the ones I see here. Enjoyed watching your wonderful group of dancers.
it would have been better if you had taken care to use silver buckle shoes for the actors.If you dress them with knee-breeches,try to respect also the shoes Not to mention the absence of powedered wigs.I remind that even in the early 19th century were partially used...
