Horse power specs are wrong that you quoted 256 horsepower with premium gas 320 lb-ft of torque ,zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, And the steering gives you real road feel.
You're RIGHT- Mazda KEEPS the good stuff and IMPROVES on it-- not gets rid of it in favor of something new and untried...like the other ding dong companies do. THIS is QUALITY in action... I looked at a Subaru CROSSTREK- touted to be so blooming good- and it sounds, and feels like it's ready to fly apart just trying to get up to speed on the highway... and although sort of fun- FEELS CHEAP and junky... THIS on the other hand- feels like the BEST QUALITY of everything- materials, production, performance and more.. A Samarai would say this is the KATANA of cars!!!
Great reviews guys, really like your style! lf i could wish something for the future videos it would be more exterior shots and no music while driving so one can hear the engine sound and "feel" the car more. Appreciate the hard work!
Funny enough this video was filmed 6 months ago and we lost a lot of footage. We want to make our videos have more of the aspects you talked about. However it is a little hard with just the two of us. So if you want to see us grow consider subscribing to get us closer to being monetized so we can invest more into our videos
Several vids including 1 year and 2 year AFTER install- and the 2.5 has one NOW..works GREAT-- gentle boost across the full pedal range- no lag- no heat- no issues PERIOD and the mpg within 1 gallon of before install numbers...
@@Joverine SEARCH YT for supercharged mazda-- the supercharger is for all 2.5 litter 4 cylinder mazda engines... and there are install videos- updates of 1 year after install to show performance etc...

It's because of this car and collaboration of Toyota and Mazda, the North American market won't be getting the Toyota Crown Sport variant. Soon, it will have the Toyota hybrid power train too...
The current ICE CX-50 is 100% Mazda design & an offshoot of the CX-30 platform. The hybrid CX-50 (& CX-30) will incorporate the Toyota hybrid drive-train & even possible the engine.

I'm getting the naturally aspirated and having it SUPERCHARGED-- don't like turbos- they cause too many issues.
They make superchargers for these already? Could you point me to which company please :)

20 inch on a non turbo is an overkill
But they look so darned good!

Too big (& boxy looking) for my taste, but that's the crappy U.S. auto market for you in a nutshell for the most part.
Hasnt there been a bunch problems with the CX50?
Since the car is a new generation it’s hard to say if there’s any long term issues but so far there hasn’t been anything

What problems? I’ve had mine for over a year and it has almost 15,000 miles on it, no issues
