You made a little video on your school time had been a struggle… watching this video made me think… that “stupid” little school boy ended up being pretty bright… farmer…machine operator…mechanic… making some off your new house… always ready helping out if needed… best in school don’t always means best in life…32k congrats.
I fell in love with Gradalls back in 1962 when I was 15. VERY cool machine. That gearing would look good in a horror movie! lol Congratulations on 32 K!! You deserve it. With all the shooting and editing time I'm surprised you sleep. lol Thank you.
Having the camera to watch what is going on really helped. I was trying to get you to stop, but you didn't hear me, lol. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
Brandon, very good video. I worked for 14.5 years in the storeroom for a natural gas utility. We stocked both black and galv. pipe and fittings for running gas lines in buildings. We had a very small number of 1/8 inch fittings and pipe nipples but not one time in those 14.5 years did I issue any to the field crews. Maybe they were popular in the old days but I don't think so much anymore. Maybe a plumbing supply house might carry them.
so often it is the little things that hinder things running properly, great find, and trouble shooting issues with the grade all unit! getting it running again and functioning well.
I watch all your videos. You are the best repair video channel, I am not surprised you got 32000 viewers. Keep them coming, the ones on your house and shop I will really enjoy. Thanks
That belly pan/gear section looks like it would be fun to clean out and do maintenance on it along with doing maintenance on the drive chains. A drive over pit would be nice to do undercarriage work on it.
Not trying to get off content here, but in the beginning of your video, you panned by a semi tractor hooked up to your lowboy, looked like it has some nice big stacks on it. Can you give a run down of it sometime? Looks like it would make a good pulling truck for fair events. When it comes to digging into repairs on any piece of equipment, you are a jack of all trades 👍. Nothing seems to be too difficult or not doable, just a suggestion for extractors, a reverse drill bit set comes in handy at times, sometimes they will actually grab ahold and end up turning out the bolts after they heat up. Thank you for bringing us out here in web land along with you.
Thank you for watching yes I can do a video on that truck some time there is a video of fixing a broken head bolt on that truck it's a older video of mine
Crows feet are very handy- as long as you’re smarter than metal. 😂😂😂 Super excited for your Castle de Brando build. That shop will be serious I’m sure!! How is the box truck coming along??
we’re here for the construction & farming videos. if we wanted off roading / sand rail videos there are whole channels dedicated to that. so I’m happy you haven’t put out any more off roading content
Wrangle star he's got a channel that was all homesteading then he turned in to a "pro home owner" channel....definitely has never worked on excavators crows foot sockets are a must!
I've got my eye on a truck mounted one identical to the one I have I need to try to get it bought I know it's got some extra buckets with it....my goal is to eventually get a newer one from the 2000's at least on tracks I think it would be a great machine to have for low head room ditch work
Did you get the Covid excuse for no pipe. Getting damn tired of that excuse every time I can’t find something. Those left handed bits work really good sometimes. 😊
Brandon, RIFE in Winamac, just south of Goods on the west side of the road. They seem to have the hard to find items. Check them out if you get a chance.
Wow that turntable gear set works out in the open, apart from that belly pan.? How the heck do you keep it lubricated, as oil would just run off on to the ground ?
Yes I was then we started the pros and the cons and fire was my major con and even if you did a fire wall between I still just dont want to chance it....we will get deeper in this later it's a good video subject to discuss!
@@dirtgrainsteel I agree with you on that one. I’ve been wanting to do the same thing here. I’ve even thought about going the extra mile and putting in a fire suppression system if I where to go this route.
First time seeing a tracked Gradall for me. The ones I've seen before where all wheeled and being used on roadside ditches. Thanks.

What a beast, I love old iron. That was awesome.
Thank you!
Those are left handed drill bits. A lot of the time they will remove the bolt you're drilling out without even having to use the EZOut.
I love mine! The best tool ever!
It totally slipped my mind when I was talking about them that they are left handed thank you for bringing that up!
Looking forward to the new house and shop. 😃
Me to thank you!!

Good job on the pipe work, can't wait for the house project
Thank you for your videos. They are very helpful to me during a very hard trial I am having. May you and your's be blessed. Peace be unto you.
Looking forward to house and shop build, enjoy your videos. Thanks
Awesome, thank you!
That work up in the belly of the beast was real good. Best yet, DGS
Thank you!

Great Video, Sir. Good to see the Gradall working and spending the time to keep her working !!!! Your friend from Michigan !!!!
Thank you for watching!!!
Gradalls are made just south of me. Been there a long time. Understand it is a great place to work.
I have custom crows feet and wrenches to work on everything!
Sometimes the best tools are something that you made yourself!!
Look forward to seeing the house and shop build. Also looking forward to seeing more of the fertiliser shed project.
New fertilizer shed video will be up sometime this coming week thank you!!

Congratulations on the 32k well done 👍👋🇨🇦

Cool EZ out set only home Depot has 1/8 pipe in brass only great repair great video thanks Brandon
Crows feet are very handy- as long as you’re smarter than metal. 😂😂😂
Super excited for your Castle de Brando build. That shop will be serious I’m sure!! How is the box truck coming along??
Can’t wait to see the thumb video 👌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Go with 18’ side walls you’ll be very glad you did. 😎

Not sure who you were talking about didn't use crowfoot wrench but he definitely has never done any Hydraulic repairs for sure
Wrangle star he's got a channel that was all homesteading then he turned in to a "pro home owner" channel....definitely has never worked on excavators crows foot sockets are a must!
Looking forward to the Wilmar, we’ve got two we are working on now.
I haven't seen 1/8 pipe in forever except for short brass pipe.
You are so lucky ,you don't have fire ants. They are mean little critters
Congratulations on 32K. I really enjoy the channel.
Stores seem to drop things that they don’t sell a lot of.
Yeah it's sad they do that especially with things like this
Working out in the big shed
Awesome content
Thank you!!
Iran a truck mout Gradall man years ago and they wear and still are a very versatile machine granted not a ast machine but still a dam good one
I've got my eye on a truck mounted one identical to the one I have I need to try to get it bought I know it's got some extra buckets with it....my goal is to eventually get a newer one from the 2000's at least on tracks I think it would be a great machine to have for low head room ditch work

All good 👍👍
Hey I've got a question about an 8640 tractor. Tractor is kind of slamming into gear between 3rd and 4th wondering if thats something I can fix?
Brandon, RIFE in Winamac, just south of Goods on the west side of the road. They seem to have the hard to find items. Check them out if you get a chance.
He knows that place well
Wow that turntable gear set works out in the open, apart from that belly pan.? How the heck do you keep it lubricated, as oil would just run off on to the ground ?
Hi great big congrats on the subs . Cheers mate🇦🇺
What about 1/8” brass fitting. Would that have worked ???
I found alot of brass but I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough even free that manifold has some resistance because of the drag of the seals
You need "black strap" grease for those gears
Not sure if u saw Diesel creeks recent video wher he went to the steam show? That looks like something u would love to go to
I had seen the video but haven't got a chance to view it yet but I'll check it out thank you!
What model is that Gradall?
Year?
Do you have to lube those big drive chains?
Yeah stores these day don’t stock things they don’t sell everyday. Ou are like me you have to think outside box there always another way to fix things
YAY! 32 K!!
Are you ever going to fix the 5020
Yes eventually probably in my new shop
Is that a old John Deere gp in your shop
Yes it is!
Is it just the perspective in the last shot of you, or do you have wildly long arms? Your elbows look like they're at your belly button 💪💪😆
You know I never noticed it but I do have very long arms 🤣🤣🤣
Didn’t you say one time that you were going to do a barndo minium?
Yes I was then we started the pros and the cons and fire was my major con and even if you did a fire wall between I still just dont want to chance it....we will get deeper in this later it's a good video subject to discuss!

everything needs maintenace
Is that a 3-53 or 4-53
👍👍
I have SAE and MITIC up to 3 in and 50 mm
A goo old Detroit.
did you realize that your audio diminishes as you talk further away from the camera?
There is no sound
My sound is working are you sure
Had sound up to where you replaced lines and clamped them, silent to end.
Would a grease gun tube have worked?
I had thought about it
