I was lucky enough to attend one of Clive's workshops recently. It has left a really strong impression on me. He's a fabulous character; warm, witty, encouraging and open. He's an amazing musician as well as guitar player. It's obvious he has given the guitar a lifetime of passion and dedication. Sitting right next to him for some of his demonstration pieces was unforgettable. There's no finer player in my view and if a tiny fraction of it rubs off on me, I'll be a much better player for it!
I bet even the non-existent mountains of Illinois were moved by Clive's peak performance! So much groove, wit and humour in his playing - what a pleasure to watch and listen to!

I was at the last one in Thaxted in July. I was a bit the same with names but what a priveledge to be there!
Mr. Carroll is flat out phenomenal. So relaxed and so much going on. Plus, looks like he's enjoying it, like TE. Thank you for posting.
