I love your videos Trottie. Especially when you are dealing with amateurs. I have only done a couple "fittings" but just with the big box stores and the guys that "fit" me are really just salesman. I'm looking forward to my first true fitting with someone who is hopefully close to as capable as you as i try to take my game to scratch and better.
Love your humor and attitude. When I coached high school kids I kept the same energy. I wish I could afford a visit to you. Most fitters know less than they think they do. Good stuff👍

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong." I do find it amusing when people confronted with overwhelming facts still can't see it. He was ploughing a field. If the divots got much deeper they'd need a safety fence at the start. Nice job as always. I liked some of the details on the spin rates and heights for the clubs. An episode on what you roughly should get for launch angle and height for each club for different handicap levels would be great for us mortals that go to ranges with tracers to get an idea if we are hitting it right as opposed to hitting it low on the face etc. Great channel. ✅
just ordered a Qi10 Max 7 wood excited to get it went with Ventus TR blue regular flex shaft and the MCC +4 grip if all goes well i plan to get the 3 wood also cheers from Canada
hi i am very interested in the new 2024 BRNR mini driver copper but am unsure about the shaft I am 59 years old swing speed of 90-94 mph am a 7 Handicap hit a nice mid to high ball usually straight and am looking at a Regular flex should i stick with the shaft it comes with or would a Mitsubishi Kaili red 60 be better suited for hit off the tee and off the deck or is there another shaft you would recommend ? i have no way to test it out due to my location i am ordering online i look forward to your opinion thx cheers from Vulcan Canada
Hey Trottie, I am a 69 year old golfer with a bad back. I don't dare play without a back brace. Because of this, I can't swing a club longer than 41.5 inches total length. So driver swing weights at this length are a joke. Can the factory make a couple of special heavier weights for the Mini-Driver. Would like to get the head to 220 grams. With this weight, 41.5 inches total and a Winn Oversize Dri-Tac Lite at 33 grams, I think the club would be around the D2 area. Love your knowledge and videos. Can you help an old man still enjoy his time in the tee box? Thanks for listening......Steve Mitchell
Hi Steve, You'd have to find a custom club shop and then hot melt to weight. Obviously you should contact TaylorMade direct but this sounds very custom and I'm not sure they could help.
Trottie does this divot theory work in the opposite way? Like if I don’t take much divot, tend to strike the heel and hit a cut, maybe the lie is too flat?
I have only been fitted once and it was a bad one. It left a bad taste in my mouth for getting fitted as it seemed like it only allowed them to find more ways to charge me for something that wouldn't really be ideal or benefit me. I know all fitters aren't like that and actually care to help you optimize your equipment but sadly not in my area. Maybe one day I'll be able to come to the Kingdom and see what a proper fitting looks like.🤞
@@trottiegolfI'm a lefty too. What makes it harder to fit lefty? Just flipping all the signals to the opposite side? Like this video the divots being deep on one side would be flipped for a lefty. Or is it other reasons?
@trottie thats for you: you are THE fitter but what I see in Europe especially and also UK that "fitters" are salesmen only who convince people to buy sticks they want to sell(seen that on many smaller YT channel) knows the numbers same as any average golfer u derstands them..si fitting is questionable here in Europe

Trottie, I've seen you go to the KBS Tour Lite shaft before too. IMO this is a very underrated shaft from KBS and hits a weight sweetspot.
If you have a PLYR who wants to go lite then this is defo a solid option

@@therealtw90 face angles on woods are more challenging and grips with ribs. You just gotta focus and listen to the PLYR
I play Taylor made speed blades and have a toe bias. But every fitter says they won’t adjust the loft or lies
