I've seen it in person. The quality is insane. I don't know how many other 24 years olds like myself grew up watching the movie but I seriously geeked out seeing it.
I love this guy's obsession to create something so beautiful. Doing it with genuine period pieces as well takes it from amazing to incredible. Top marks to this hero.

Beautiful. My favorite childhood movie - that car always has a special place in my heart. I had the large Corgi one as a kid (sadly, no longer have it because I actually played with it all the time.) What a fantastic job you did. Congratulations. Seeing that gave me all the feels.
Yes, quite frankly, I can't resist singing the Movie's theme song whenever and whereever I drive my Chitty Car- she's truly a Magical Car!!! fantasmagorical!!!!
Wow, When he said "let's see if it will fly" my heart beat faster and I felt that sense of wonderment and hope flood me like my first time seeing CCBB. Thank you sir for posting this. (now back to the video I had to pause it and comment) .

Had the pleasure of meeting Tony and seeing the car at the New York Auto Show. Realizing that I was also a mega Chitty fan he let me come under the rope for a closer look. Great car; great guy.
Back in 1969 I saw the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with a friend of mine here in Melbourne Australia. I couldn’t wait until the record of the soundtrack came out and since then I’ve loved the movie. I’ve watched quite a few times now I’ve got it on Blu-ray DVD. Absolutely brilliant and guess what I never get sick of it Yours, Jeff
Tony congratulations on a beautiful extraordinary machine 👏🏽😄!!! I like your self have seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang a dozen times, I never get tired of watching that movie ! When ever I watch video of car builders such as yourself and build famous cars that were either in a TV series or movie brings back a lot of great childhood memories for me😊. Again Tony, job well done 👏🏽😄!!!
Never let go of your childhood dreams, Outstanding, I'm the same age and saw the movie aged four years old, Kept my original toy chitty, ever since. Awesome nice work Tony.

I loved that movie, I still remember the songs. What a beautiful job! That is a labor of love... I live in Florida, let me know if you're traveling south anytime soon. Fantastic!

My absolute dream car. If I could I would offer the owner of the original anything it would take. I was hoping this was going to tell me I could get a replica. Amazing that you built this yourself. Incredible job. I won't ask to buy it as I know the answer and who could blame you. Maybe I'll get to see it one day.
*This is absolutely AMAZING! I've been thinking about Chitty Chitty Bang Bang a lot since I saw the documentary Chitty Flies Again with David Walliams on Channel 4 fairly recently. This the absolute BEST Chitty replica I've ever seen in my life so far! Well bloody done, dude! XD*

It's a fantastic piece of work, and I only have one little quibble. She's a little short in the nose. I think the original Chitty is just a tad longer. Other than that, it's an incredible thing that he's built. Just beautiful.

This car should be on Jay's Garage with Jay Leno !
Nice job Tony. I too was obsessed with that car as a kid too. I remember getting a C.C. Bang Bang pedal car as a kid. When I got older and was a senior in HS the movie Christine came out. Like you I told myself I want one (seeing how finding a CCBB was not going to happen). 10 years later, 93, bought a 58 Plymouth and made myself a Christine show car! Because of this I appreciate what you have done. Ps I to am a Police Officer. Thanks for what you have done!
Is this guy and car still around in 2022? My autistic son would love to see this, it is one of his favorite movies. We are in New Jersey so not that far!
Has he never seen the real thing? Why go to all that trouble and not make it the right proportions? I saw the original in England about ten years ago at a Steam Rally.
Some Bloke ........ how do you know it was the original?.........5 cars were made for the film LOL............id still give the guy credit where its due for making a nice replica.............it would never be exact proportions as the car he has is a smaller wheelbase but he done a very good job
